But this trip, we will take you to travel in Surat Thani in a way that is close to nature, not focusing on the sea. We will take you to see the best of Surat Thani. Where will it be? What will it be like? Follow this review....

Day 1, traveling from Bangkok to Surat Thani

This trip is a 4-day, 3-night trip to travel with nature, not focusing on eating, and renting a car to drive. We arrived at Surat Thani Airport at around 13.30 and picked up the rental car from the airport at almost 2 pm.

Point 1. Bang Baimai Public Market, the first floating market in Surat Thani

Location: Tambon Bang Bai Mai, Amphoe Mueang, Surat Thani Province Opening hours: The market is open every Sunday from 09:00 - 17:00. Admission: Free

Our destination will be the famous Bang Bai Floating Market, which is open only on Sundays. It is about 25 minutes from the airport. Come and stroll around, sample local food and desserts, shop for fresh seafood, and take a boat to explore the Hundred Canals and admire the natural mangrove tunnels. Take some beautiful photos. The boat fare is 100 baht per boat if you charter a private boat. If not, you can wait to share a boat with others for 20 baht per person. However, you will have to wait a while because you need to wait for at least 3 people.

PS. If you want to sit and take pictures comfortably without being surrounded by people, I recommend chartering a boat for 100 baht. It's private and easy to take pictures without having to worry about anyone else.

Point 2. Ban Nam Rat Forest

Opening hours: Open daily from 09:00 - 17:00 hrs. Admission fee: Admission fee and toilet fee, 25 baht per adult, 15 baht per child

Ban Nam Rat Forest is another tourist attraction that tourists like to visit because of the clear water that is like an oasis in the middle of the forest. The water here is very beautiful and clear. You can see the fish. It is clean and there is no garbage because the officers take good care of it. They do not allow you to bring in any items, food, or drinks into the area. You can only bring your wallet, mobile phone, and camera. You have to leave the rest with the officers. There are lockers available.

Note: If time is limited, choose between Ban Nam Rat Forest and Klong Nam Sai. Come here, it's much more beautiful. The water is clear. The surrounding area is clean. The management is better. There are caretakers. (We went to Klong Nam Sai. The water is really clear, but the management is not as good. There is still a lot of garbage in the surrounding area.)

Spot 3. Sleep in a tent in the middle of the mountain, watch the mountain view and the morning mist at Khaosok Boutique Camps

Location: 11/36 Moo 5, Chalong Sub-district, Mueang District, Surat Thani Room rate: Starting at 2,000/night including breakfast for 2 people Website: http://www.khaosokboutiquecamps.com

Today we stayed at Khaosok Boutique Camps, which is a Glamping resort located on a hill near Khao Sok National Park. It has all the amenities of a hotel. The view from the room overlooks the beautiful mountain range and is very close to nature. The panoramic view has a great atmosphere and is perfect for relaxation.

Note: The view from the accommodation is very beautiful. The sun sets on the side of the pool. In the evening, sitting by the pool will give you a great feeling. As for the fog, there will be a lot of it in the morning. Wake up at 6 am to avoid missing it!

Day 2: Enjoy the view of the mountains and the fog in the morning, sit in a chic cafe

Waking up to a very refreshing atmosphere. Sipping fragrant coffee while enjoying the view of the mountains and white mist in the morning at the resort before going out to enjoy the view at the cafe.

Point 4. Bridge Hill Cafe', a roadside cafe with a million-dollar atmosphere

Open: 08.00-19.00 hrs.

Bridge Hill Cafe' is a very chic cafe, a small coffee shop on the roadside leading to Khao Sok. The view is very good, with mountains behind. The price of coffee is not expensive, around 80-85 baht. There are various bakery desserts. There are many photo spots. I recommend you try it out. However, there is no parking lot, so you have to park on the side of the road.

Website: http://www.artsriverviewlodge.com

Room rate: Starting at 1,200/night

**Art River View Khao Sok** is a resort located on the banks of the Khao Sok River, surrounded by nature and a lush atmosphere. It is perfect for nature lovers and offers the opportunity to swim in the river. We stayed in the Riverview Cottage, a fan-cooled room that resembles a forest hut. It offers views of the river and the natural garden. At night, be sure to keep the door closed to prevent mosquitoes and insects from entering the room. This resort is ideal for those who love nature and want to relax in a jungle-like setting.

Note: The advantages are very natural, the water is clear, and the staff is nice. The price of the room is cheap.

The downside is that there are some insects and lizards (which is normal for nature and wooden houses)

Day 3: Travel from Khao Sok to visit Cheow Lan Dam, Thailand's Guilin

When you come to Surat Thani, you must not miss Cheow Lan Dam, Thailand's Guilin, because it is very beautiful, as beautiful as its reputation.

Point 8. Cheow Lan Dam, Thailand's Guilin (Ratchaprapha Dam)

Admission fee: There are 2 parts for the service fee:

  2. Fee to Ban Chiew Lan Municipality: Thai people: Adult 10 baht, Child 3-14 years old 5 baht. Foreigners: Adult 20 baht, Child 3-14 years old 10 baht.

Leaving the accommodation, we drove to Cheow Lan Dam, Thailand's Guilin (Rachaprapa Dam), a famous tourist spot that you should not miss if you come to Surat Thani because it is really beautiful. It is the most beautiful dam in Thailand. When you see it, you will definitely exclaim, "Wow!"

If you want to visit the dam without staying overnight, you can rent a long-tail boat for a 2-hour tour for about 1,700 baht. The boat will take you to Nang Phai Floating Resort for a 20-minute break to take pictures of the dam before returning to the shore. It's definitely worth it and you won't be disappointed.

Point 9. Khao Phang Suspension Bridge - Heart-Shaped Mountain

Opening hours: Open daily from 06.00-18.00 hrs.Admission fee: Free

Khao Phang Suspension Bridge - Heart-Shaped Mountain is another spot that you should not miss because it has a beautiful photo spot. It is a mountain scene that looks like a heart shape in the back and has a suspension bridge that is about 120 meters long, stretching across the river to the other side. The bridge itself is built in the area of Wat Khao Phang. You can walk across it.

Chiewlarn Camp & Resort is a riverside accommodation not far from Chiewlarn Dam and only 5 minutes away from the suspension bridge of Khao Pang - Heart-shaped Mountain. The rooms here are modern in style with a nice atmosphere. The room we stayed in was a standard room with air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. In the evening, you can barbecue on the balcony of your own room for a great atmosphere.

P.S. The barbecue here is very delicious, the taste is very good. If you go to stay, you must arrange a meal!

Day 4: View the sea of fog on the mountain, worship the Buddha on the floating pagoda, Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma Park

Point 11. Floating Pagoda, Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma Park

Opening hours: Open daily from 08.00-18.00 hrs.

Admission: Free

The Floating Pagoda, Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma Park is another highlight that you must not miss because it has beautiful architecture and the view from the top is very beautiful, like being in heaven. From the entrance of the 9-spire Phutthavadi archway, it is recommended to come before sunrise to get a view of the sunrise with a beautiful mist. Then walk up the stairs to the top of the mountain, which is where the Floating Pagoda is located and contains the Buddha's relics. On top of the limestone mountain that is almost 300 meters high from the ground, it is recommended to wear non-slip sneakers because the path up is quite steep and slippery. The atmosphere at the top offers a panoramic view of the mountains and the sea of mist. Especially when there is a lot of sea mist, it is like being in heaven.

Point 12. Suan Khun Fai Cafe (Khun Fai Strawberry Garden)

Opening hours: 8.00am - 6.00pm

It is both a cafe and a restaurant that sells rice, pizza, and drinks. The food tastes good and is not expensive. There are many photo spots in the shop, it is shady and comfortable to sit :) You can stop by for a meal.

After finishing at this shop, it was time to go to the airport ... I must say that I was very impressed. Surat Thani has many beautiful places to visit, both natural and man-made, including mountains, trees, crystal clear water, and even a sea of fog. Most importantly, there aren't many people and the prices are very reasonable. : ))) If you like to travel and enjoy nature, I highly recommend visiting Surat Thani. You won't be disappointed. <3

See you again on the next trip ... Find a place to go first. If anyone has anything cool, stop by and recommend it.
