Let's Eat Review: Farm Design
This is another famous chain of dessert shops from Hokkaido, Japan. This shop has been open in Japan since 1987 and has been offering delicious cheesecakes to Thai people since 2012. They mainly sell a variety of cheesecakes, as well as milk-based drinks mixed with other ingredients to create a variety of other drinks, including fresh coffee.
Every time I go to Farm Design and see the sign that says "NO! Hokkaido Cheesecake", I always think to myself, "What the hell? Every time I want to eat Hokkaido Cheese cake, it's always sold out." But then I look up at the display case and see that they're always selling it. Or maybe it's a different kind, so I always miss out on eating it. Until I found out that the sign actually says No.1 Hokkaido Cheesecake (The Crystal SB Ratchapruk branch).
Farm design is a well-known shop for milk and cheesecake. I tried the Hokkaido Cheesecake (105 baht), which is the most original cheesecake. The piece is not very big. The cheesecake is dense and soft. The cheese is fragrant and slightly sour, but not as sour as yogurt. I think anyone who likes cheesecake and doesn't like anything too sweet shouldn't be disappointed.
Another piece is the Cream Cheese Brownie (55 baht). This one has a brownie that perfectly cuts through the sweetness. The brownie is dense and not too sweet, and it goes well with the slightly sour cream cheese on top.
Brownie Kiss Cheesecake (125 baht) is another cheesecake with a rich brownie cake base, mixed with various nuts.
This Oreo Mint Cheesecake Frappe' (125 baht) is a filling drink. The cup isn't very big, but it's packed with milk, Oreos, cheesecake, whipped cream, and mint sauce, all blended together. The fresh milk flavor is prominent, with a hint of mint from the mint sauce. There are Oreo pieces to chew on and the cheesecake adds a tangy contrast to the sweetness of the milk.
Tiramisu Cheesecake Frappe' (125 baht) This cup has a light coffee aroma, not too strong, suitable for children. It's fun to sip and chew on the cheesecake.
Yogurt Slurpee (80 baht) is another one of my favorite drinks. It's like a blended yogurt with ice flakes. It's not too sour to the point where it's undrinkable, but it has a slightly sweet and sour taste with a milky aroma. It feels like I'm drinking a healthy beverage. I've tried this drink many times, and I've never been disappointed.
