Today, I was craving something hot and delicious, so I thought of dim sum. I asked my partner if they had any recommendations, and they suggested a place. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing, the prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant, called "Khun Pho," specializes in dim sum with a small selection of 5-6 fried dishes. From what I observed, it appears to be a very home-cooked style establishment, as there are very few staff members, most of whom seem to be family members. On some days, I've even seen grandchildren helping out, which is quite endearing.

The shop is located at Soi Kosumruamjai 32, Kosumruamjai Road, Don Mueang. It is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00 and closed on Tuesdays. You can call 081 557 9539 for more information.

Here's the menu, it's very diverse: dim sum, fried food, and steamed buns. It has everything you could want!

This chrysanthemum tea is amazing! It's perfectly sweet, according to Ploy. It's also refillable for only 20 baht. Let's take a look at what we ordered today.

Starting with fried dumplings, I didn't think pork dumplings with mayonnaise would be delicious at first, but they are. I always order them every time I come here.

Our dim sum condo is here! Hehe.

Quorum reached, let's eat!

This sea bass with lime is excellent. The fish is soft and tender, and the lime dressing is perfectly balanced.

This steamed sea bass with soy sauce is a great way to cut through the richness of the fried dishes.

Salty egg yolk, so delicious! Love it!

Summary:

This restaurant exceeded expectations. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The location may be a bit tricky to find at first, but following the GPS and searching for "Dim Sum Khun Pho" will lead you there. There is parking available. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
