- Hello everyone, it's Ploy again with another review. This time, I'm changing things up and heading north to Chiang Rai. The weather has been changing a lot lately, and I've been having a sore throat, so I decided to take a break and enjoy some tea in Chiang Rai. Let's get started!
- DAY 1
- This time, Ploy flew on a plane that was booked in a confusing way because her mother had arranged everything. Our only job was to travel, travel, travel! And of course, take beautiful photos to share with everyone. This was our main mission!! Hahaha. As soon as we landed, we rented a car at the airport. There were many counters lined up, and we just went with the first one that caught our eye. Before anything else, Ploy checked in at the hotel. This time, Ploy stayed at the Nakaraj Princess Chiang Rai Hotel, located on Soi Sri Keaw, near the walking street. It's a small, cozy hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

- Upon seeing the front of the building, I was shocked by its extravagance. I thought to myself, "Wow, does it really need to be this gold? Will anyone be able to sleep with all this gold outside? I wonder how much gold is inside?"
- I was shocked when I opened the door to the room. It was like something out of a historical drama, so luxurious! I've never slept in a place like this before. It was definitely a new experience. 555555
- After I put my things away and rested for a bit, I started to feel a sore throat and wanted something warm to drink. So I decided to go for some tea. I went to Choui Fong Tea Plantation, which is beautiful and not too far from the city center. It's about a 50-kilometer drive, which takes less than an hour if there's no traffic.
- We arrived! It's a weekday, so there are few people. The view is beautiful, the tea is delicious, and the cake is also delicious. Don't ask about the pictures of the food, I didn't have time to take them before I finished eating. I'm so hungry! Looking around, everything is green as far as the eye can see. The tea plantations are endless, it's amazing.
- Mom wants to post for a bit.
- Act like the show "พี่หนูแหม่ม คู่เลิฟตะลอนทัวร์" 5555555555555
- This photo is me trying to look candid like teenagers do in their photos. This is the best I could do.
- There are many photo spots, every corner is amazing. If you've never been there, try going for a while. It's like driving and wanting to stop to take pictures everywhere. I stayed for about 3 hours, driving around and taking pictures until the sun went down. 55555 I recommend going in the morning or late afternoon so it's not too hot.
- DAY 2
- Day 2, I'd call it a day of accumulating good karma and art appreciation. Because I really went to temples, haha. Honestly, I'm not really into temples, but if I have to go, I'll go. I'm not a sinner, I just don't get into it. But when I'm there, I have to stop by.
- The first temple was the blue temple, Wat Suan Dok.
- This temple is so beautiful. It's cool and blue everywhere. It's like looking at an old-fashioned illustrated book, like the story of Phra Mahajanaka. The murals on the walls in the church are so beautiful, with a capital B. You have to go see it, I swear.
- The second temple is the white temple, Wat Rong Khun.
- This temple is very confusing, it's full of Chinese people. I can't hear any Thai language, only Mandarin, Cantonese, and the occasional elderly couple. It's a bit tiring, but it's still beautiful. Honestly, it's not as impressive as the first temple because I've seen it online before. Haha! There are a lot of people, so I'm just indifferent. But it's still beautiful!
- The third place is the Black House Museum of Thawan Duchanee.
- This place is a collection of Thawan's artwork, everything is black, it has a bit of a dark charm when you go in, but it's beautiful and unique.
- There is no text to translate.
- We stopped for lunch at a roadside restaurant. I can't remember the name of the restaurant, but the dishes were all very cute.
- The rice is still beautiful.
- Hang Lay Curry, oh my goodness, Hang Lay Curry
- Fried mushrooms with some kind of chili sauce, but it was delicious.
- The view from the restaurant is amazing, making the food taste 30% better.
- Yes, that is a duck. A duck and its family ....
- Finally, I stopped by a regular shop, a famous delicious dessert shop, delicious, delicious, delicious
- Beloved orange cake
Summary: This was a short trip where I wanted to relax and have fun with my mom. We stopped wherever we wanted, without any set schedule. We slept in when we were tired, and it was a lot of fun. We saw and ate things we'd never seen before.
Accommodation: The accommodation cost 1260 baht per night. The staff were friendly and helpful, even lending me a hairdryer.
Transportation: We rented a car for 900 baht per day. Other than that, there were miscellaneous expenses.
