Hello everyone, brothers and sisters.
On August 12, 2015, I had the opportunity to go to Wat Tha Ton, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province to take pictures of fireworks in honor of His Majesty the King with several other photographers.
This was my first time taking pictures of fireworks this year.
So I had to study the techniques and how to set the camera properly.
I was afraid of missing out and not getting the pictures I wanted.

My favorite weapon

We set off from Chiang Rai city center.

Travel to Wat Tha Ton in Chiang Mai at approximately 13:00 by private car.

The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, covering a distance of approximately 90 kilometers.

The road to Wat Tha Ton is relatively good and easy to drive.

Driving along, stopping for coffee sometimes, stopping to take pictures along the way.

Finally arrived at Wat Tha Ton, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province at around 4:00 PM.

As soon as I arrived, I rushed to check the spot where they were going to set off the fireworks. I wanted to see where it was and where it was located.

How many sets and what kind of points? Luckily, I met the uncle who was the one who lit the firecrackers.

So I went in to ask for details. The uncle told me that there were 8 and a half sets of fireworks.

10 matches per set and the time should be around 20.00 hrs. Wait and listen for the sound yourself 555

After discussing the details with the uncle, we went to the location where we would be filming.

This is on the 9th floor of Wat Tha Ton. There is a Buddha statue that is always full, which is not difficult to notice.

After taking the picture, I tested it first.

While waiting for the fireworks, let's capture the sunset first.

It's almost time for them to light the fireworks. The sky is starting to get dark.

The long-awaited moment has finally arrived. The first set of fireworks has been ignited.

As soon as the first set of fireworks went off, we were all wrong. The angles we had in mind at first were all wrong.

Because the fireworks were so big, they missed the frame. I couldn't change the lens in time.

Let's go understand the situation with the uncle who set off the firecrackers.

This firework image, I have taken the firework image

Combine 3 images in Photoshop CS6.

After the fireworks were finished, we checked the pictures. Most of the fireworks were out of frame.

The part I was able to capture will be the small one. I will try again next time.

And tonight, the sky at Wat Tha Ton is full of stars, and you can see the Milky Way.

With the naked eye, we quickly changed lenses and adjusted the camera settings to capture the stars.

And now, let's move on to the Milky Way.

After taking a picture of the Milky Way, we hurried home.

See you again. Where will I take you next?

Thank you.
