Hello Pantip users, Bangkok has been cold lately, so I had to find something hot to sip on. The other day I had the chance to walk around JJ Green Market, a popular market for young people. Of course, it's a market, so I had to find something to eat before heading home. Today, I'd like to introduce a new restaurant called "Long Young (ลองยัง) noodle hot pot & Shabu". I want to tell you about the goodness of this restaurant because I personally love spicy food, so I'm going to give you a full review with both still images and videos for everyone to read. This restaurant is located right at the entrance of JJ Green. Walk straight in for about 100 meters (don't turn) and you'll see a row of white shophouses. The restaurant is the first one on the left, it's a glass shop, very easy to spot.
This restaurant is a bit of a gamble, as it gets very crowded. During peak hours, around 2-3 pm, there will be a considerable queue of people waiting to eat here. However, I have been there three times and have always gotten a table because I go around 6 pm and no later than 7 pm. The restaurant has both outdoor and air-conditioned seating. I have sat in both areas, and if you are easily bothered by the heat, I recommend the inside. But if you want to chat with friends and watch people walk by, I recommend sitting outside.
This time I went to Long Yang Restaurant for the second time. This time I went with 4 friends. We chose the Tom Yum Mamuang Set, served with Korean Mama and toppings for 219 baht. The shop informed us that we can choose the level of spiciness in 3 levels (I'm still hungry while typing this). We focused on the clear one, so we chose level 3 (555). The set that the shop gave us will be like the picture. The additional toppings are: 1 large squid, golden needle mushroom, sausage, clams, diced meatballs, eggs and minced pork. Let's take a full look at the picture.
**There are many toppings to choose from, such as pork, beef, meatballs, seaweed, mushrooms, eggs, river prawns (the shop informed us that they were out of stock on the day we visited), or you can order more vegetables. After a long explanation, let's take a look at the atmosphere and deliciousness of the shabu restaurant.**
For the cheese, the shop has a stove with a fire so we can boil it to melt the cheese first. Then we can put in pork, meatballs, sausages or anything else. It's delicious whether you dip it or spread it.
In conclusion, "Long Yang Restaurant" is another restaurant that lives up to its name. In addition to the delicious broth that the restaurant has prepared, the toppings that come with the set that we ordered at first are also considered to be quite reasonable for the price. The 1 pot that we ordered is suitable for 2 people if you want to be full and have a protruding belly when you go home. But if you want to sit and eat while chatting, order 1 pot and order other toppings as well. Sitting and eating with 4 people is also another good option. For those who want to try Long Yang Restaurant, you can go to JJ Green Market. The restaurant is not difficult to find. As soon as you enter the market, you will see it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
