Hello everyone,
If you mention the cherry blossoms of Thailand, your friends must think of the tiger lily.
Today I will take you to see the tiger lily at various places in Chiang Rai Province.
There are many places to visit.
At the beginning of the year, I had the opportunity to experience the cold wind and search for the tiger lily.
At various places in Chiang Rai Province, each place has a different beauty.
And this year, the place that was very beautiful last year, such as Banphot School, Doi Pha Tang, this year, it didn't bloom much.
But this year, there are 3 main spots for viewing tiger lilies in Chiang Rai Province.
In my opinion, 1. Hong-Ngao Headwater Management Unit @ Phu Chi Fa
2. Doi Pang Khong Highland Agricultural Station Project under the Royal Initiative
And lastly, the Mae Saan Headwater Management Unit, Doi Chang.
Although there are not many tiger lilies, it is still very beautiful.

Let's go explore the cool and comfortable air at Phu Chi Fa. First, let's enjoy the beautiful light and soft sea of mist.

The first rays of the day hit, a cool breeze blows, the temperature is around 8-10 degrees Celsius, it's perfect. It's something you don't get to experience very often.

Phu Chi Fa peak is 1,628 meters above sea level. The route to the top of Phu Chi Fa on the side of the Hongao-Ngao Headwaters Management Unit

The distance from Baan Rom Fha Thong to the top of Phu Chi Fa is approximately 400 meters, which is shorter than the distance from the Phu Chi Fa Forest Park. The slope is also less steep.

In the late morning, we descended back to the Ngao-Ngao Headwaters Management Unit to admire the beauty of the Dok Ngang Phaya Sua Krong flowers, also known as the Thai sakura.

At the headwaters management unit, there are tens of thousands of Queen's Crape Myrtle trees, which are part of the unit's reforestation project.

This will be planted with white-flowered ferns and three-leaf pines. The flowers of the tiger lily will begin to bloom from the end of January each year.

When the lotus flower is in full bloom, it will last for about a week before it starts to fall.

In the evening, we went out to catch the sunset at Doi Pha Tang, which is a very beautiful sunset viewing spot.

And another thing, Doi Pha Tang is also a great place to stargaze. If you can handle the cold, that is.

Because the wind is quite strong on Hills 102 and 103, the cold is doubled when combined with the wind.

Before tackling Hill 102 and Hill 103, we stopped to take photos at Pha Bong, the love gate of the mountains.

The path down to Pha Bong Cliff is on the left. Walk down for about 20 meters.

After that, I headed straight to Hill 103 to catch the sunset there.

Hill 103 is the farthest hill to walk on Doi Pha Tang, and it is also the highest point of Doi Pha Tang.

If you don't want to walk, the villagers have miniature horses available for rent. However, I'm not sure about the price.

After taking pictures at Hill 103, we walked down to continue up to Hill 102.

Capture the twilight glow and the streaks of starlight.

After finishing taking pictures of the stars, I went back to my accommodation.

We will be staying at the Hong-Ngav Headwaters Management Unit tonight.

Because it's near Phu Chi Dao, tomorrow morning I will go up to Phu Chi Dao. This morning we went up to Phu Chi Dao together. Phu Chi Dao is a new tourist attraction that has only been open for less than a year.

After we descended from the Ngao-Ngao Headwaters Management Unit, we turned right towards Doi Pha Tang.

Phu Chi Dao is located between Phu Chi Fa and Pha Tang, in Ban Rom Pothipong. You need to contact the villagers for transportation.

Private vehicles are not allowed. The round-trip transfer fee is 500 baht per car, which can accommodate up to 10 people. The car ride to the top of Phu Chi Dao takes another 3 km.

The road is quite steep, and once you reach the parking lot, you have to walk another 400 meters to reach the top of Phu Chi Dao.

However, the walking path is quite steep. It is recommended to walk slowly for those who are not very fit.

Most importantly, don't forget to bring drinking water.

Phu Chi Dao is a rather narrow ridge. Be careful when walking up.

Both sides are cliffs, and the top of Phu Chi Dao can accommodate about 50 people.

It's late, it's time to go down the mountain and hunt for the tiger queen. After coming down from Phu Chi Dao, we will continue to hunt for the tiger queen. Next location

Let's go hunting for the Queen of the Tigers at the Doi Pang Khong Highland Agricultural Station Project, a royal initiative.

The journey is relatively convenient, with a cement road leading to the village.

However, the last section of the road leading to the project is still a dirt road. Please drive slowly.

A regular car that is not a 4x4 can still go.

On my way back, I came across a beautiful garden. I stopped to take some pictures.

Finally arrived at Doi Pang Khong. It took me from Phu Chi Dao to Doi Pang Khong.

About 3 hours.

Arriving at Pang Khong, we started with the Queen's Flower and the strawberry plot.

Arriving at Doi Pang Khong, what you can't miss is coffee. Doi Pang Khong is very famous for its coffee.

In the morning, there are aunts who come to pick coffee beans.

After visiting the coffee shop, let's continue to admire the Dok Ngang Phaya Sua Krong flowers.

Try using a telephoto lens to zoom in on the Pang Khong village through the Dok Ngang Phaya Sua Krong flowers.

Try collecting fallen tiger lilies and using them with an old camera.

And finally, the place we will go to hunt for Wild Himalayan Cherry blossoms this time is the Mae Saan Watershed Management Unit.

Located on the way up to Doi Chang, on the side of Ban Huai San Plapla, which is not far from the entrance to Pang Khong.

In my opinion, about 15-20 km is a beautiful place to see the blooming of the Wild Himalayan Cherry in Chiang Rai.

It can be said that the flowers are not as abundant as those at the Hong-Ngao Headwaters Management Unit and the Pang Khong Agricultural Station.

It's quite an eye-opener, I must say.

That's the end of this trip. See you again at Nang Phaya Suea Krong @ Chiang Rai next year.

Thank you all for following me to the very end.
