Hello everyone, I'm back with another travel adventure! Today, we're heading north to explore the beautiful landscapes of northern Thailand.

This trip was 5 days and 4 nights, but we traveled like crazy, as if we were gone for a week.
Pai – Kiw Mae Pan – Doi Inthanon – Grand Canyon Hang Dong – Suthep Pui – Khun Chang Kian
The highlight of this trip was the tiger at Khun Chang Kian, but it was a twist. I'll tell you later.

I'm going to split this into 3 posts because there are so many pictures and details.
Some people said that all I had were pictures, so I'm going to give you a detailed review. Okay, here you go! And please read it, you guys.
This post will be the first part, and we'll take you on a trip to Pai first.

As always, I used Nok Air. I booked the tickets a year in advance for a promo price.
I got a round-trip ticket for about 1,600 baht per person.

It is recommended to take an early flight. We arrived in Chiang Mai around 9:30 am. After that, we hailed a red taxi.
We told him to go to Chiang Mai Arcade. There were 7 of us. At first, the uncle asked if 400 baht was okay.
We put on a sad face and said, "No, thank you. We are backpackers and don't have much money. We'll try to walk. Thank you."
With a beautiful wai.
It worked! The kind uncle said, "Come on, 200 baht is enough." We jumped into the car so fast.
We said goodbye and that the people of Chiang Mai are kind. When we reached our destination, we paid and bowed to thank the uncle again.

We booked a van ticket to Pai in advance at http://premprachatransports.com/ticket-th
You can book 3 days before your trip. I must say that I was very tired of the booking system.
The website asks how many people are traveling, and there are options for up to 9 people. So I chose 7 people.
I chose my seat and was ready to pay, but I got an error message. What did I do wrong?! Why can't I book?!
I tried for several days, several times a day.
Is there a problem with the website? Or what? How am I going to get on the van? I called, and it was very difficult to get through. I almost gave up.
After talking for a while, I found out that I had to book through the website, but I could only book 2 people at a time.
Goosebumps!!!!! Then why have a drop-down menu for 9 people!!?

We got our tickets. The round trip was 371 baht per person (including counter service fee).
We booked the 11:30 am van (you have to pick up your tickets 30 minutes before the van leaves) and had time for breakfast.
We sat in the van for about 3 and a half hours because they were building a new road, so it was a bit slow.
We arrived in Pai at 3 pm. We got off at the bus station and turned left to rent a motorbike. There are many shops to choose from.
The rate is 150-200 baht per bike, depending on the condition of the bike.
After renting, we filled up the tank with 50 baht each. No need to be kind and fill it up for them. There's plenty left over.

We got our bikes and checked into our hotel. Tonight we are staying at Lilu Pai , which is in the heart of the walking street.
We got it from the travel fair for a little over 1,000 baht per night. It's cheap and good.

After throwing our bags, it was almost 4 pm. We went to find something to eat and then headed to Pai.
In the evening, we will go to watch the sunset at Kong Lan or Pai Canyon.
We still have some time left, so we stopped by the landmark Coffee in Love to take some photos.

Next stop The Container Pai
> Sometimes just sitting still with someone who understands us is just as good <

I got a little carried away, it's almost time for the sun to set. Let's hurry to the campsite.

It was so difficult to walk. The path was narrow with white, slippery sand on both sides of a chasm. My legs were so tense that my shoes almost ripped.
I can go anywhere as long as I'm with these crazy people who make me feel comfortable. I love you guys, meow.

We walked to another spot, this time there were only 6 of us left because the other kid didn't dare to walk over. I practically crawled, it was so scary!
I told you, coming with crazy people, where are the normal poses?

After soaking up the atmosphere, it's time to head back.
The temperature dropped rapidly, and we rode against the cold wind until our faces were numb. Why does the way back seem so long?
We brought the motorbike back to the resort and went out to find something to eat.

Every time we come here, we have to eat at this restaurant. Khao soi nั่งยอง is cheap and delicious.

Two plates, please. Spicy jungle curry (jungle curry + coconut curry) and northern Thai curry with 1 egg.

Only 52 baht. Cheap, right?

After a satisfying meal, we took a leisurely stroll along the Pai Walking Street.

Want some jelly? Jelly, so cute and cuddly

There are many souvenir shops, clothing stores, and cool postcard shops.

If you're in Pai, don't forget to stop by the French crepe shop.
Let me tell you, it's delicious! I'm not kidding, it's really good. Don't believe me? Go try it yourself.
The seller is also very kind. She said that you can buy your own strawberries and she'll make them for you. That way, the filling will be extra thick.

I had two more boxes of strawberries before bed tonight. It's so good, you guys!

This is my fifth time in Pai. What a charming city! I never get bored of it.
The weather is great, the people are friendly, and things are affordable, even though it's a tourist town.
My first impression and this time are no different, except for the people I'm with.

This is the charm of Pai.

I woke up at 5 am, showered, got dressed, and rode my motorbike to watch the sunrise at the Yun Lai Viewpoint.
It was 12 degrees Celsius, and I was freezing! Why did I ride so fast? I gave myself plenty of time to ride slowly.
I arrived early, and it was still dark. There were less than 10 people there. I decided to take some photos of the stars.
Everyone was standing in pairs, and I was standing here alone. It was cold, but I was more lonely. Haha!

Why are you so loving this morning? Are you cold? 555

Taking pictures all the way, there was a lot of fog this morning, so I couldn't see the sunrise.

Sipping hot tea, eating congee, and nibbling on fried fish balls amidst the cool mist, how cool is that?

- PHOTOGRAPHY IS THE BEST CURE FOR A BAD MEMORY -

Couples who come here will buy a hanging tag to write their names on and hang it on the Tree of Love.

We're coming with axes, hee hee, we'll chop down the whole tree.

Anyone can write, you can also sit and talk to the little ladybug. Sheesh!

We will meet again... in the flow of time.

After taking a deep breath of fresh air, I started to feel hungry. I went back to the hotel for breakfast. I must say that the mushroom porridge was delicious, but I didn't take a picture because I was so hungry.

After lunch, we packed our bags and prepared to check out.
We booked a car back at half past three. We left our bags at the hotel and then went to visit Pai.
We had to stop and take a picture at another important landmark, the Pai Historical Bridge.

Then stop by Love Strawberry Pai

After that, we drove back to Santichol Village. When we arrived, we were starving. Huh! Hungry again? I heard you just had breakfast.
Come on, eat! Eat! If your stomach bursts, I'll give you gold.
We arrived and couldn't miss the pork leg and mantou menu.

Stir-fried bitter melon with oyster sauce is the best menu for us.

Sun-dried goat, a friend wanted to try it, so I tried it. At first, it smelled bad, but later, it tasted so good! 555

I have to say, the staff here are hilarious. We went with a group of 7 and ordered 7 steamed mantou, 7 fried mantou, and 7 cups of rice. The staff member looked at us in shock, as if we had been starving for days. He said, "Guys, maybe just start with 2 cups of rice? You can always order more later." Honestly, 2 mantou per person is already quite filling. The staff member was so cute, he even tried to slow us down. That's the kind of hospitality you find in Pai. It's not just about selling food, it's about the experience. And for all that, we only paid 690 baht.

There are so many activities in Santichol village, it's like a Thai Smile Club.
The first thing I ran to play was the Yunnan swing, or the hill tribe style swing.
Wait a minute, I heard that you just stuffed your legs with pork buns. Well, let's play.

The next activity is archery. If you're not a good shot, try having your wife stand as the target. I guarantee you'll be as accurate as if you were placing it yourself. 555

The last activity we didn't do because we were afraid it would be animal cruelty was horse riding. Neigh, neigh, neigh!

Sometimes, just sitting in silence together is good too.

See you again, Santichol.

It's 3:30 PM, time to head back to Chiang Mai. See you again, P'Pai.

I arrived in Chiang Mai around 7pm and checked in at Baandinkee, located in Kad Suan Kaew Shopping Park.
I booked it at a travel fair as usual, 500 baht per night. It has an old-fashioned vibe, similar to the old Imperial Hotel chain.

This is not okay!!! Mom, it looks scary. Oh well, let's go to sleep.
When I arrived, I found another jackpot. The hotel's hot water system was broken. My dream of having a hot shower was shattered before my eyes.
Damn it!!!!!!! How am I going to take a shower? In the end, it wasn't warm, but it wasn't cold enough to be unbathable, so that's good.
After throwing my bags, it's time to go out and find something to eat. Today is Saturday, there's a walking street at Wualai, let's go!

A must-try restaurant is this one, "Khao Klook Koh Troh Leela". Uncle is still spicier than ever, just like the original fermented pork salad.

The Walking Street of Wualai is still the Walking Street of Wualai. It wouldn't be right to change it to the Walking Street of Buffaloes. Oops!
