I bought a ticket from Bangkok to Pattaya at 8 am. Luckily, I arrived just as the bus was leaving.

The journey took about 2 hours. Then we bought tickets for the ferry, which departed at 11am. In the meantime, we went up to the back of the boat to secure a spot.

Before boarding the ship, I saw many soldiers at the pier. And most importantly, on this ship, there were almost 80% Chinese tourists. Hehehe, I felt a little scared. We arrived at the island around 1 pm.

This time, the boat dropped us off at Haad Ta Waen Pier. We had to take a songthaew to Tha Na Ban Pier again.

I've been to Koh Lan so many times, and this beach is no exception. It's gotten boring and crowded. I just took a few quick photos and left. Haha.

Sangwan Beach

This beach has a beautiful wooden walkway, but there are a lot of rocks.

And then we called the resort staff to pick us up. Our accommodation was super cute!

The reason I chose this place is because it has a rooftop and it's also right next to "Ma Ha Rak Cafe".

I planned to take a shower and get dressed to go out as soon as I arrived, but when the time came, I just slept for a long time. I woke up at 2 pm lol. Nuan Beach.

For us, we like this beach the most because there is a quiet corner for us to be alone on the far left of the beach. It is a beach of black mineral sand, alternating with reddish brown. This is our main photo spot. And then there are flocks of monkeys. We have to be careful.

They say the sunset is beautiful, but it's 4 pm now and the sun is still blazing. Let's move to another spot.

Wind turbine

This is our fourth time visiting Koh Larn, but we've never been able to find the windmills. This time, we were determined to find them, but when we did, we couldn't find a good angle to take pictures because the road was so steep. It was really hard to drive and hold the camera at the same time.

Thian Beach

For those who prefer a quiet corner, this beach is highly recommended. It's not very crowded and the beach is quite wide.

The two children who asked to come along also asked to be dropped off at the pier (-,.-?)

After we parted ways, I asked Google what to do next.

Thong Lang Beach? But they said it's not advisable to go at night because the road is steep and the trees are quite dense. Okay, let's skip it.

This morning, life was leisurely. I rolled around in bed, ate breakfast, and then sat listening to the waves, chilling out. After that, I went up to the rooftop to play the guitar, and then came down to take a shower and pack my things to get ready to go home.

Goodbye Koh Lan

Short trip, 2 days 1 night, lonely and chill, consider it a recharge for the body.

Many people who want to try traveling alone but don't dare, give it a try. I assure you it will be incredibly fun and incredibly lonely as well.

This trip used a FujiXT1G camera + Gopro Hero4 Silver, edited in LR + VSCO.

Tips for those who want to try solo travel for a short trip
1. Be mindful at all times. Look left and right before going anywhere, and avoid putting yourself in risky or secluded places.
2. Don't keep all your money in one place. Separate it and keep it in different places so you have a backup if you lose it or get pickpocketed.
3. Avoid bringing too many things to stay agile while traveling.
4. People with time constraints should always allow extra time for travel, at least 1-2 hours.
5. Relax, pack your bags, and let's go on a trip!
