...Where to go this Saturday-Sunday? 2 girls were talking, like, where to go?
Not far from Bangkok, budget 1,000 baht per person, can drive by car. Think for a while.
The conclusion is "Koh Lan" is not far away. You can drive a car. Let's go then : )

Our journey begins... at approximately 10:00 AM.
We set off in our private vehicle from Srinakarin Road, heading straight ahead.
Upon entering the Bangkok - Chonburi Motorway, we continue driving straight following the signs for Chonburi.

The sky was overcast with no sunlight peeking through the clouds throughout the journey.

I was worried all the way, afraid that it would rain, but in the end... it didn't rain. I'm relieved. : )

The first meal of the morning + lunch is expensive. It's better to eat rice from 7-Eleven, 50 baht per cup.
You only get a little bit. We stopped to eat at the rest stop on the expressway, heading into Chonburi.
There are many restaurants to choose from. We parked and rested for about 30 minutes.

Then we continued our journey. The plan was...
We had to be at the pier by noon, but we didn't rush. We just took it easy.

We have reached Ladkrabang checkpoint. Please collect your ticket here and pay at the exit.

We followed the GPS to Laem Bali Hai Pier and drove around looking for a place to park our car.
We saw a woman waving a sign that said "Car Park" and we rolled down the window to ask her.
We asked her how much it cost and she said 200 baht for overnight parking. We agreed.
We followed her to the parking lot, which was about 100 meters from the pier.

We were going to walk to the pier instead of taking a motorbike taxi because it was expensive.
But she offered to take us to the pier because the boat was about to leave. We agreed.
The three of us squeezed into her car and we thought it was a service. When we arrived at the pier, we thanked her profusely.
But she said it was 40 baht each. Huh!! So we had to pay 80 baht.
We were so disappointed. We got on the boat and the fare was 30 baht each.

We boarded the boat at the pier in front of the house. I don't have any pictures of the atmosphere on the boat.
Because last night we went to sit and chill, when we came to sit on the boat, it hit the waves, swaying back and forth like the wind was blowing.
So I chose to sit still. We didn't talk much, for fear of throwing up on the other passengers.

Here's a sign saying "Koh Lan" so you know you've arrived.
Whether it's actually related to Koh Lan, I don't know. Haha!

The atmosphere around the pier is bustling with squid fishing boats, fishing boats,
and boats taking tourists diving. There are many activities available. If you are interested,
you can ask the staff at the pavilion in front of the pier for more details.

However, we were in a hurry and didn't have any accommodation yet, so we had to find a place to stay first.
It was already 1:30 PM, and as we walked around, we saw a sign for a guesthouse with a price that we were interested in.
So we called to inquire, and there was one room left, a fan room for 700 baht.
We were okay with that, so we waited for a while and a motorcycle with a sidecar came to pick us up and take us to the guesthouse.

Upon arriving at the guesthouse, we dropped off our bags and paid 700 baht for the room.
The guesthouse also offered motorbike rentals, and we were able to negotiate a lower price with the owner.
However, I won't disclose the exact price; you'll have to bargain for yourself. 555

After packing our things, we went for a ride around Koh Lan. We were afraid that we wouldn't make it in time before it got dark. This is the atmosphere of the streets and houses on Koh Lan.

This is a map of Koh Lan, showing the location of each beach.
Koh Lan has 7 beaches: Ta Waen Beach, Sangwan Beach, Thong Lang Beach,
Tay Yai Beach, Saem Beach, Thian Beach, and Nuan Beach. There is also a viewpoint.
If you have time, I recommend spending 3 days and 2 nights on the island to visit all the beaches and really enjoy yourself.
A day trip just isn't enough. : )

The atmosphere of the shops at Hat Ta Waen is amazing.
The prices are reasonable because most of the tourists here are foreigners.
At this point, it's not really suitable for our wallets, haha. 555

I'm not sure about the current rental price of beach chairs and umbrellas, as I didn't rent any during my visit. I opted to sit on the sand instead, as I'm quite frugal. * This beach is a great spot for people-watching, especially if you're interested in seeing foreigners in bikinis.

The atmosphere of tourists at Hat Ta Waen is very crowded.
The water is clear, the sand is white, and there are speedboats for rent.
In case anyone wants to take their girlfriend to see around Koh Lan like this.

This pier is better than the one in front of the house. On sunny days, you can walk comfortably.
Because the walkway has a long roof to block the sun. But it takes longer to take a boat.
To reach this pier, it will be slower than the pier in front of the house because you have to go around the island to the other side.
If anyone comes to visit on a One Day Trip, I recommend coming down at this pier.
Because you will be able to play in the sea right away. Like getting off the boat and jumping into the sea right away. 555

The path to Sangwan Beach is a raised wooden walkway that leads directly from Ta-Ahan Beach.
Recommendations - Be careful of the gaps between the planks and the rotten wood before leaning on it.

I envy children who can travel and have fun without worrying about anything.

After relaxing on Sangwan Beach for a while, I walked back to find all the umbrellas folded and the sun gone.
Looking at my watch, it was already 5 pm. We should hurry to the other beach, or we'll be late.

We've arrived at Haad Thian. It's very different from Haad Sangwan and Haad Ta-Harn.
It's peaceful here, not many tourists. The seawater is so clear, I envy those who can swim.
I can't swim, so I can only soak myself in the water. It's pathetic, haha! I pity myself. 555

Various trees try to find their own place, this one is the Bodhi tree.
We are people who feel comfortable looking at the Bodhi leaves. When the sea breeze blows,
the Bodhi leaves flutter back and forth, looking beautiful. The Bodhi leaves are also unique.

We went out to the front of the house and stopped by the market to get something to eat.
I wasn't feeling very energetic and wanted a spicy papaya salad, so I asked my friend to buy one.
In the meantime, I decided to take some photos of the area.

I was a little jealous of the people who live in houses by the sea.
It made me think of my house in Hua Hin.
But if I were to stay there, it would be over my budget, so I decided against it.

The city of Pattaya is on the opposite side of what we see.
It doesn't look far, but I don't think we could swim across.

Ta-da! The papaya salad is ready. I asked the vendor to make it spicy and not sour.
What I got was not spicy and sour. Great! + One grilled chicken skewer and one sticky rice parcel for each of us.
That is, we came to the sea and didn't eat any seafood. After eating, we went back to the room to shower and change clothes.

Just came to see how different the bars on Koh Lan are from those in Bangkok. Really, really.

We arrived at the restaurant around 8:30 pm. There was only one table of customers. We drove around twice.
We didn't dare to go in. The restaurant next door was packed with people. If we had to choose, we'd choose the one with fewer people.
We thought about it for a while, then we parked the car and walked into the restaurant. After a while, several tables of customers came in.
We felt like we had friends now. Phew! We sat there for an hour, then it started to rain. What are we waiting for? Let's find a place to shelter.
Some tables checked out and left, but the two of us didn't. We waited for the rain to stop. The staff wiped the table for us.
We went back to our seats. Later in the evening, the restaurant was packed with people. There were no more tables available. There was also live music.
It was great. Overall, we loved it. The music was great, it wasn't crowded, and it didn't smell like cigarettes.
We'll go back to this restaurant next time. The bartender is cute. 555 Whatever, don't come here!

We woke up at 7 am to eat free breakfast from the accommodation.
Because the aunt said that the food will be gone at 10 am, so we hurried.
Afraid of missing free things, the aunt said that the food is a buffet, you can choose to eat as you like.

The buffet, auntie said there would be fried eggs, sausages and much more. But when I walked over,
There was a large pot of rice porridge, unfried fried eggs, toast yourself and Ovaltine coffee.
But that's okay, I was just complaining. I can eat it all. Plus, the rice porridge is delicious. There's minced pork too, haha.

After a hearty meal, I rode my motorbike to the popular viewpoint.

Because we have to return the car before 11.30 am, we have to hurry. It's already 10 am now! !!

The shop we intended to visit was Maharak Café, but it was closed, so we were disappointed. TT
So we changed our destination to Soul Sweet instead. When we arrived at the shop, it was very crowded and there were no tables available.
We decided not to sit and just buy a cup of coffee to go, but the aunt who seemed to be the owner
or not, I'm not sure, found a table for us. She told us to go ahead and sit down, saying that she was afraid someone would take our seats.

We ordered 2 glasses of water and a chocolate lava. After sitting for a while, we saw that the queue seemed to be very long.
We wondered if we would make it in 50 minutes. We also had to return the car and check out of our accommodation. We were starting to feel very stressed.
I asked my friend to talk to the aunt and tell her that we didn't want the chocolate lava anymore because we were afraid we wouldn't make it in time to return the car. The aunt said that it was already being made.
She asked if we wanted to take it with us. We said yes, and the staff brought it to us and apologized for the delay.
The aunt also brought us 2 glasses of water with a smile and another apology.

** We felt so good. It wasn't the shop's fault at all.
It was our fault for arriving late.

Before leaving, we went to check out and return the motorbike to Aunt Aoi. I want to say that..
Aunt is very kind, very talkative, she always compliments us, saying we are very cute. If we come again, call Aunt.
She will give us a discount on the room and let us sleep in the air-conditioned room. She is so kind. On this trip, we met only kind people.
I'm so happy! We said goodbye to Aunt with a wai and promised to visit her again.

The boat will not leave on time.

We have arrived at Pattaya Beach. Looking at the perfect harmony that is shared between
nature's creation and man-made structures. It's truly beautiful.

The trip ended well, but I still don't feel satisfied. I want to take more days off.
I want to stay one more day because I haven't been to all the beaches yet. : (

What I'm impressed with this trip is the aunt who takes care of the room, the staff at the Pa Paen Station restaurant, the aunt and the staff at the Soul Sweet restaurant. Everyone is very kind and cheerful.
