This resort is arguably the most unconventional on Koh Lan. In the past, resorts on Koh Lan were typically ordinary houses, some with questionable design choices, particularly in terms of excessive and tasteless color schemes. However, several years ago, Pause Resort opened its doors. I visited shortly after its opening, and I was impressed. The only drawback is that it is not located directly on the beach. However, there is no need to worry, as you can easily reach the beach by motorbike. Now, let's take a look at the rooms. This resort offers double rooms with prices of 1,500 baht on weekdays, 1,800 baht on weekends, and 2,000 baht on long weekends. At first glance, you might think that's expensive, considering you could stay in a luxurious hotel in Pattaya for 700 baht per night. But hold on, this is Koh Lan, where even ordinary houses cost over a thousand baht. So, the price is not outrageous, although it is still on the higher end. 555

The resort is easily accessible, located at a road intersection with no fences. To the left is the beach, which is accessible by foot but is quite a distance away. It is recommended to cycle or ride a motorbike.

The room has many different styles. The room I got has a bathroom on the left, a bedroom on the right, and stairs to climb to the roof to stargaze.

The bedroom is like this. It has a large TV screen, a bed, pillows, and towels.

The bed has a headboard with a window directly above it. The morning sunlight shines directly on the bed, making it difficult to sleep in. However, the air conditioning keeps the room cool and comfortable at night.

The bathroom has a toilet, which is not luxurious but functional.

There is no door, only a curtain for both the toilet and shower. So, if you're shy about going with friends, make sure you agree on who will shower first. But if you're a couple, go for it and don't worry about the media.
