Many people enjoy eating salmon, and I am no exception. Fresh salmon is especially delicious. On the way from Mt. Cook to Twizel or Lake Takapo, you will inevitably pass by a salmon farm called High Country Salmon. This farm is located before the dam, where there is flowing water with a suitable temperature. The water is also sourced from melting glaciers.

Fresh salmon from the farm, cheap compared to Thailand. This tray should be around 250-300 baht in Thailand. There are many menus to choose from. Oh, the cake is delicious too (I don't know where they bought it from to sell 55).

This area features a fish-feeding zone, where visitors can provide free fish pellets. While it may seem contradictory to feed fish while consuming their flesh, it allows visitors to enjoy the act of feeding while still enjoying fish dishes. The area also provides a comfortable and relaxing environment for dining, with a cool atmosphere.

I bought this back to cook with. This piece costs 650 baht. The next piece is very large. This one has already been deboned, so you can cut it up and eat it easily.

A.

I have caught a fish. There is a photo spot in front of the shop to commemorate the occasion.

The farm is not particularly beautiful, but it can be said that we are eating directly from the farm.

Don't forget to stop by when you drive past. It's on the way. I've made a map for you.
