I haven't taken you anywhere for a long time because I haven't found any interesting places to visit. This time, I'll take you to visit A. Sawi, Chumphon Province. I happened to go to a colleague's ordination ceremony. As I mentioned in the review topic, why did I say that time stops here? Let's take a look at the pictures. There may not be many pictures, and I may not go into detail about the area because I came here to visit with my colleagues, so I had to follow the majority. Everything here is simple and easy. The villagers greet each other on motorcycles, as if they had come from over 10 years ago. There are no luxury hotels or beautiful resorts here, only homestays and warm welcomes like family. A must-visit city on the way.
Note: During my visit, it coincided with the storm season, so the photos were wet, humid, and soggy.
The first morning of the trip arrived. I woke up early last night, so we took some photos before the clouds came in.
The shrimping boat returned from its fishing trip last night.
Let's go up to the ninth floor to see the atmosphere. The wind is cool and comfortable. I haven't seen the sun yet.
I'm about to head out for work, but I took a few more photos before I left. The sky is starting to clear up and the view is amazing.
Sitting in the breeze, watching the general atmosphere, the water is rising.
Enjoying the cool breeze.
The clear sky didn't last long. The rain clouds came again. I sat and watched the rain fall on the other side. Another day is gone. The first day I couldn't go anywhere because I was stuck at my younger brother's ordination ceremony.
Early mornings at Baan Tong Tum beach require a hike over a hill to reach the secluded beach, which lacks any amenities.
Sitting under the shade of a tree, enjoying the sea breeze.
The beach here is calm and flat.
Follow the Lord all the way.
Homestay Baan Ta Noi, fresh seafood, big crabs, diving and squid fishing services. Contact Uncle directly.
The snorkeling spot to see seahorses is Whale Island, but I was already prepared for it. Because the water level was low, we couldn't get to the coral reefs. Most of the islands here are concessions for bird's nest farming, so we couldn't go up to the island. So we changed to another place.
The boatman took us to another diving spot, but it was the same as before: the water was low, and there was a storm coming. So we got out of the water and played in the water instead. It was a beach in a valley, and the beach was very soft and beautiful. The boatman said that normally the water is clear and it is a diving spot, but this time it was cloudy. It's okay, I was already prepared for it.
I didn't make it back before the rain, so I had fun playing in the rain.
According to the information I found, there is only one place in Thailand where you can dive to see seahorses, according to Google. Unfortunately, the water is cloudy and low during this season, so we couldn't go in to see them. My friend tried the "เจาะ" oysters (which are oysters that cling to rocks), which were as big as the oysters we eat in oyster salads.
Last night at Hat Sai Ree, a quiet beach with abundant marine life.
Stopped by the district office to buy souvenirs. The houses are still in their original style, and there haven't been many changes. I have to admit that sometimes the towns we drive through hide their beauty. "A city you shouldn't miss on your way through." Thank you, Uncle Noi Homestay, for reducing the boat fare because we got caught in the rain and had to come back early. Thank you to the local fishermen in Ban Thung Tom for letting me try the drilled oysters. It's a town where the locals always smile and greet tourists.
