Typically, I don't release albums very often, mainly due to laziness. The truth is, I'm lazy when it comes to writing a lot because I'm not a skilled writer. However, if I do decide to release an album, it's because I find the concept truly interesting, and the photos included are only the ones I like the most.
Koh Rok, Krabi, is a private island that I have visited frequently. By the end of this year, it will be my fifth visit in less than three years. This frequency of visits suggests that it is truly an extraordinary place.
This album, as the title suggests, focuses on underwater photography, offering a deep dive into the beauty of the underwater world that the photographer has encountered and wants to share. The diving trip to this location resulted in over 2,000 images, including those from other destinations visited during the trip.
The island of Koh Rok, also known as the "Queen of the Andaman Sea," is located in the province of Krabi. It can also be considered part of the Krabi mainland. For travel information, you can easily search on Google. Nowadays, it's easy to find information on how to get there. However, I will say that traveling from Phuket is the farthest but also the most convenient. I myself came from Trang province. Who I came with, you can see in the hashtags.
The underwater images were all captured using a GoPro camera. The diving depth was not significant, approximately 5 meters or less. This is because the primary focus during travel is on my wife's enjoyment. If she is not having fun, we do not travel.
Why do you like to come here? The short answer is "beautiful". You have to try it at least once, especially on a day when the water is clear and the tide is low. It's even more beautiful than usual. (I'll show you some pictures on land later.)
This photo series will take some time as I need to select the best photos to post. I want to share the true beauty of the photos, which is why it takes so long. I am a slow photo editor, and I can only edit up to 10 photos a day. This is because I have other jobs, including being a photographer and having a full-time job. Therefore, I can only edit photos when I have free time.
In response to the question of who I am with, #Modtanoy Resort is my regular accommodation when I travel to visit my wife's relatives in Krabi. I will regularly drive from Krabi to relax here. I go there so often that it feels like visiting a friend's house.
This trip includes images from a total of 4 rounds of travel. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Whether it's about diving or photography, I'll answer if I can.
This album is dedicated to those who love diving and exploring the ocean.
