With my love for the sea and staying at resorts in Phuket, I go to Phuket at least 4-5 times a year. I go there more often than my home in the north. Because we have to travel a long distance and our profession is to take care of patients, when we get a break, we want to have time with our family. We've taken care of other people a lot, so let's give time to our family while we can still do many things together. Don't let time pass by, because it can't be reversed.

Let's start at Don Mueang Airport. I had to wake my daughter up at 5:00 AM to take a shower and leave our house in Ayutthaya province.
Even though the flight was at 8:25 AM, I knew how bad the traffic in Bangkok could be, especially on weekdays. We left the house at 6:00 AM
and arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport a little after 7:00 AM. Luckily, we had already checked in, so we just had to drop off our bags and head to the gate.

Arrive about 20 minutes early to allow for some buffer time so you don't have to rush. This will give your daughter time to watch the planes, which will surely bring her joy in a childlike way.

For our family trip this time, we used AirAsia, mostly because of their promotional fares. Round-trip tickets were less than 3,000 baht.

Thai Smile and Bangkok Airways are usually my top choices, but this time their prices are outrageous.

Because we booked only a week in advance, but AirAsia is not bad. It's on time. The downside is that you have to buy luggage weight.

The only difference is that there is no food served during the journey.

After boarding the plane, the two girls played a game of hide-and-seek. They must have been tired from waking up early.

It takes about 1.20 minutes to get to Phuket Airport. After picking up your luggage and renting a car, head to Patong.

To pick up a friend before checking into the hotel together.

I arrived at the hotel around noon. I checked in and called the marketing sales manager. He took me to the first meal in the dining room. Below the lobby, this will also be used as a breakfast room. On the day I went, there was a tour group from Italy. They brought their own chef from Italy. They flew to Thailand to do it.

The food looks delicious, but the taste is probably 100% Italian. But for me, it's not really to my taste. The only thing I can eat is

Spaghetti with seafood. As for the spaghetti in the shape of a bow, I don't really like it. I guess I'm more into the taste of Thai food.

The steak and chicken looked tough, but when I ate it, it was actually quite tender. The taste was a bit salty.

After a satisfying lunch, it's time to check into our room. The room we got is the Junior Suite with a pool view.

The room is very large, my daughter can run around comfortably, and there is enough space for the 1.30x2 meter white swan. The bed is very comfortable.

It's a shame it's a twin bed, but the other rooms have king-size beds.

The decor style is Thai vintage. In my personal opinion, I don't know what they call the style, but it looks cute and suitable for girls.

Next to the bed is a desk and on the other side is a bathroom. The bathroom is not in the picture, but the daughter has made a mess of it.

The hotel's bath amenities are their own brand, which smells good. Personally, I prefer THANN, but what impressed me was that they refilled it every day.

Whether it's empty or not, I'm one of those crazy collectors. Because when I go to the beach, I like to take it with me so that when I take a shower, it's convenient.

Welcome fruit is given in large quantities. It is only available to guests staying in suites or above. Guests staying in deluxe rooms will receive a coupon that can be redeemed at any of the hotel's restaurants.

Let's take a look at the arrangement. I can see the swimming pool. It's a pity that the coconut tree is blocking the view, but it's also a good thing because it keeps the place cool and the green color is easy on the eyes.

The balcony also has a clothes drying rack. The balcony is very long.

At 4 pm, it was time to explore the resort. I had made an appointment with my brother to take me to see the garden, which was a real garden. It wasn't just trees or grass. The garden here was as big as some botanical gardens.

The owner's love for trees is evident in the abundance of greenery throughout the resort. Every direction you look, you'll be met with lush foliage.

This place has also received environmental awards. How could it not? The resort is full of trees and so shady.

In addition, there are animals that are kept there, but not in cages. They are kept in a natural environment and are not afraid of people.

There are birds, chickens, rabbits, and turtles. The rabbits in particular come out to run around in the late afternoon and can be found all over the resort. This is probably another selling point of this place.

Because it can attract children a lot. Animals and children are a perfect match.

A wild chicken, tame and friendly. Usually, they run away from people like a flash of fire, but here, they even fight the camera.

The parrots will be brought out for display from 3 pm onwards. The colors are so vibrant.

The 75-year-old mother turtle is still very strong. She will come out to show herself in the late afternoon. She has baby turtles with her.

The rabbit seemed very familiar with people. My daughter was very happy. It took a long time to tell her to get closer. As soon as she went in, that was it.

I would like to take it home to raise.

After watching the animal show with my daughter, we crossed the street to watch the sunset at Karon Beach. The advantage of Thavorn Palm is that it offers stunning sunset views, making it one of the best places in Phuket to witness this natural spectacle.

Gazing at the ships sailing in the sea, it must be amazing. You can experience the atmosphere of sailing while watching the sunset.

Even though I'm not up there, just sitting here watching makes me so happy. Especially with my daughter and wife by my side, I'm so happy.

After watching the sunset for a while, I let my daughter and wife go take a shower and then come down for dinner. For dinner tonight, we will be having Italian food at Chio Restaurant in front of the resort. As for me, I'll stay here and enjoy the sunset a little longer.

We ordered one pizza and one steak each. The food was huge and definitely worth the price. The taste was much better than during the day.
I must say it was delicious. If you're in Phuket, give it a try. They currently have a promotion: buy 2 get 1 free for 300-350 baht per pizza. It's a great deal!

After finishing the meal, I went to my room to rest. I was tired from the journey, so I decided to sleep and recharge for tomorrow's activities.

On the second morning of our stay at Thavorn Palm, we woke up a little late. By the time we finished showering and getting ready, it was almost 9 am. We went down to the lobby for breakfast. The food selection was similar to other 5-star resorts, but there was a wide variety of Thai dishes to choose from. Strangely, most of the guests were European, Russian, and Chinese. We saw very few Thai people.

Our family's favorite breakfast spot is Line Cereal. We mostly eat just one fried egg each, sausage, fruit, and a lot of cereal.

After breakfast, we explored the resort's swimming pools. There were five pools in total, so we had plenty of options to choose from. We had a great time swimming and splashing around.

The large pool has 4 pools. The children's pool is next to the kids club and the coffee talk shop. I didn't take pictures of everything, as I was afraid of disturbing other guests.

After taking photos for a while, we met up with Nid, a marketing salesperson, to make pizza together. The pizza-making activity costs 550 baht per person.

Translation:

For adults, each person will get 1 pizza. For children under 10 years old, it will cost 275 baht per person. If there are three people, father, mother, and child, they will get 3 pizzas.

Making pizza is not difficult at all. It takes less than 5 minutes to make. The longest step is probably kneading the dough, which needs to be kneaded for 5 hours.

The chef has already prepared the ingredients, so we just need to mix them and shape the dough into a tray. It only takes 5 minutes to complete.

After the massage is complete, the next step is to spread a thick tomato sauce and sprinkle a handful of cheese. Decorate the top as you like.

After lunch, we took our daughter to play at the Kids' Club, which is right next to the children's pool. It can be said that the front zone is very suitable for activities.

In the afternoon, we will bring turtles, rabbits, and birds for the children to watch and play with.

The kids' club here isn't very big, but it's spacious enough for various activities.

After playing at the kids' club for a while, it was time to take my daughter for a nap. While my daughter was playing at the kids' club with her mother, I sat down to chat with Nid.

At Coffee Talk, my eyes caught sight of an Afternoon Tea set for 550 baht, including a drink. So I decided to give it a try.

A set of coffee, please. It's coffee from Chiang Mai, called "Chang Kian". The taste is a bit sour. I don't usually drink coffee, so I don't know if it's delicious or not.

This coffee will be made in a special way. When it boils, the coffee in the back cup will flow to the top. After that, when it boils, turn off the heat and use a cold cloth.

Wipe the area around the empty glass, the coffee on top will flow down by itself. As I tell the story, I start to get confused. I have to try it myself at the shop.

Here comes my afternoon tea set, along with the sound of my daughter's voice.

Children and sweets are a perfect match. From sleepy eyes, as soon as they see sweets, their eyes widen.

After eating, I took my daughter upstairs to sleep, and then took her down to play in the water. As for me, I prefer to sleep downstairs. I don't really like sleeping in the room.

The time my daughter has been waiting for has finally arrived. It's time to play in the water, and I'm so happy. I can hear her laughter and see her smile.

This pool isn't very popular. The resort has 5 pools, each one is huge. I don't think anyone will be fighting for space.

Seeing my daughter playing alone, I was afraid she would be lonely, so I went to play with her. The white swan I brought with me from Bangkok.

We had dinner at the Old Siam restaurant. On the way to dinner, we stopped to take pictures of the sunset.

Now that we're full of joy, let's take a look at what will fill our stomachs. We ordered three or four dishes, and the taste was okay. It wasn't delicious, but it was edible.

I ordered a set of papaya salad with grilled chicken, chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, and mixed seafood tom yum with thick coconut milk. This dish was a big disappointment. It was way too sweet, almost like a dessert. It tasted more like a

The foreigners, but the most delicious thing I've ever had is stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts. It's really delicious. As for the other menus, they're okay.

If you're looking for seafood, there's a buffet for 790 baht per person. I saw that they have both savory and sweet dishes available, which is good value for the price in Phuket.

I used to go out to eat at various restaurants outside, ordering dishes to share with three or four people. It cost almost three thousand baht. If it were me, I'd rather choose a buffet. It's much more filling.

Let's take a look at the atmosphere in the shop. It's decorated according to its name, in a Thai temple fair style. If there were swings or carousels, it would definitely add to the atmosphere.

There are also places to sit in the style of a khantoke.

After enjoying the savory dishes, let's move on to the sweet treats. The coconut ice cream with fried bananas is absolutely delicious. The fried banana flavor is amazing, even better than the ones at Sala Ayutthaya.

Personally, I like Thawan Palm. It's not that they gave me an SR review. If I had to pay for it myself, I think it would be worth the money for the results I got.

This place has a lot of swimming pools to choose from, not crowded. Like some places like Renaissance, the service is very good. But the disadvantage is that the room is ordinary.

The communal pool is a bit small, meaning it can't accommodate more than 100 rooms. However, Thawan Palm meets my needs perfectly. I plan to bring my daughter there.

Location and Transportation

The location of this place is very advantageous. It is convenient to travel anywhere, except to the airport. Haha!

However, if you go to tourist attractions or various beaches, it's okay. Convenient transportation With a prime location in terms of travel, there is also a place to watch the sunset, which is ranked among the top in Phuket.

Room

The room is very spacious, both the balcony and the room itself. I'm not very impressed that the bed is a twin size. In my opinion, all suites should have king-size beds. And another thing, I would like a bathtub on the balcony. It would be amazing to soak in the water while looking at the stars.

Food

The breakfast buffet was standard for a five-star hotel, with a wide variety of options. My favorite restaurant was probably the one that served...

Italian restaurant Chawn and coffee shop Coffee Talk. For Thai food, I recommend the stir-fried chicken with Himalayan mango seeds and the fried banana coconut ice cream.

Swimming pool

Another highlight is the swimming pool, with 5 large pools to choose from. This definitely meets my top priority of bringing my daughter here.

Activities

There are so many activities that 3 days and 2 nights are not enough for relaxation. If possible, I recommend 4 days and 3 nights. I guarantee you will return feeling fully satisfied.

The most memorable activity was the pizza-making course. There were also animals throughout the resort, including rabbits, turtles, parrots, and chickens. Each animal was well-cared for and friendly.

The care is excellent. You can really tell that they take the trees seriously here. If it weren't for the fact that it's right on the beach, you'd think you were in Khao Yai.

Service

The service of the staff is more friendly in a Thai way than professional in the European style. The European side seems to be more professional and pays attention to the details of the guests. As for the permanent part, I feel the Thai style of service where the staff will greet you, but it is more friendly.

A genuine smile, not a professional one. If you've ever stayed at a five-star hotel, you'll know what I mean. I'm one of those who have had the opportunity to stay and experience it.

The price is not low, but the service here is truly Thai. They take care of you like a friend. But it would be even better if they could take care of you like a relative. It would make you feel much better. It's like coming here.

It feels like home, but I'm already impressed.
