Koh Thalu, Bang Saphan Noi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, is a trip to Koh Thalu twice. The first time I stayed on Koh Thalu Island. The second time I went because I felt that the first time I went, the water was cloudy, so I had a chance to go again. This time the water was clearer and there were fewer people than the first time I went.

The only accommodation on Koh Talu Island is Koh Talu Island Resort. Here, you will find accommodation with three meals a day and activities such as hiking for a high-angle view, squid fishing, diving, kayaking, releasing sea turtles, and watching turtles lay eggs. Turtle-related activities are not available every day, it depends on your luck. There are two beaches on the island, the big beach and the small beach, but I recommend staying at the big beach because it is more convenient, although the price may be a bit higher. Koh Talu Island Resort also offers a one-day trip package that includes diving and lunch on the island. The lunch on the island is buffet style. Alternatively, you can stay at a hotel on the mainland near Bang Saphan Noi, where there are hotels at various prices. You can then go diving at Koh Talu. I went with Suchat Diving, which operates from Saen Beach. The diving fee is 350 baht, including lunch box, drinking water, fruit, and diving equipment. The total diving time is about half a day, with the boat leaving at 9:00 am for all operators.

For the atmosphere of relaxation on the island, it is an interesting place to stay. The price may be a bit tiring, but it is worth it to relax because you only have to pay once and that's it. There is a 24-hour soft drink service, except for carbonated drinks and alcohol. But if you want to bring your own, you can also leave it at the accommodation to be chilled. On the island, there is a blackout time from 9:00-11:00 and another from 15:00-17:00. This is the time when the island will take you to do activities.

For those who do not want to stay overnight on the island, there is still an option to go diving there. There are many boat operators offering services, with prices ranging from 350 to 600 baht depending on the food and type of boat. This is another option. Oh, on Koh Taloo, boats from other operators are not allowed to land on the island.

On Koh Taloo, there are two main diving spots: the Big Beach and the Headland. The Big Beach is suitable for photography when the water level is low, as the sunlight reaches the coral reefs and makes them easier to see. The Headland has deeper water, but the coral reefs are more abundant. Even when the water level is low, the water remains deep enough for diving.
