Hello everyone,
I'm back on the island again. I'm in Chiang Rai, which is full of mountains. Haha, so I wanted to visit an island for a change.
With the hot weather like this, I want to escape to a quiet island somewhere with beautiful nature.
But there's one island that makes me think of a peaceful and natural island.
And that is "Koh Phayam". The peace and nature on the island are still preserved.
Because the villagers here help to maintain it. There is no power plant on the island.
The island uses solar power and generators.
Traveling to Koh Phayam for a relaxing vacation is not difficult at all.
If you're ready, let's grab our cameras and travel together.

Koh Phayam is a large island, covering an area of approximately 35 square kilometers. It is located near Koh Chang and is home to around 160 households.
The villagers are engaged in mango and cashew nut farming, rubber plantations, and coastal fishing. Activities on the island include fishing and cycling around the island.
And for those who love snorkeling, Koh Phayam is considered a complete and beautiful coral reef viewing spot. The east side of the island has no sandy beaches.
However, the island is rich in mangrove forests and is occasionally inhabited by the Moken, a seafaring tribe. There are tourist accommodations available on Koh Phayam.
For more information, please contact Mu Ko Phayam National Park at 077-813840.
Travel can be done by passenger boat, boarding at the municipal pier in Pak Nam Subdistrict. There are 2 boat services per day.

If you're in a hurry and want to see the beauty of the island as soon as possible, then a speedboat is the way to go. It's a bit more expensive, at 350 baht.

Koh Phayam - Ranong Morning round 09.00 - 09.35 am, 10.00 - 10.35 am. Afternoon round 14.30 - 15.05 pm.
The travel time is approximately 40 minutes, which is not too long.
Leaving the pier, there are both fishing boats and charcoal factories to see the way of life of the villagers in that area.
After a 40-minute speedboat ride, we finally arrived at Koh Phayam. The cool breeze and the occasional rain made the journey even more exciting.
The fast horse takes us on a trip around the island this time. Kubota. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.
For friends who come with their partners, there are motorcycles for rent on the island to drive around.
The excitement is about to begin. Once you're ready, hold on tight to the railing and let's go! 555
The main roads on the island are paved, but the roads leading down to the beaches or resorts are still dirt.
The first spot that our local guide recommended for us to visit was Hippy Bar.
This is a very hip bar on Koh Phayam. The bar was built using leftover wood.
The pieces are joined together to form a boat, and the various parts of this bar are very artistic.
This bar is mostly frequented by foreign tourists.
Don't miss out on this place if you're a fan of this kind of atmosphere.
The next point requires a bit of a trek through the dust, but it's a new viewpoint on Koh Phayam.
The place is just as beautiful as any other. There is also a bar that serves drinks.
The last stop of the first day, Ao Yai, to sit and watch the beautiful sunset here.
Ao Yai boasts the longest beach on Koh Phayam, stretching out for a considerable distance.
You can walk along the beach and swim in the sea very comfortably.
The sand here is not as white as Koh Kam, but it has beautiful sand ripples.
But the sand is soft, you see.
Set up a tripod and sit and wait to watch the sunset. I'm hoping for a good sky, no rain, and no clouds. Hehe.
After watching the sunset, I packed my belongings and went back to my room.
Feeling refreshed after a shower, it's time to head out for some food. Let's walk out and...
Looking for a place to eat rice near the accommodation. Walking distance from the accommodation is about 500 meters.
The taste is good. The price is also reasonable.
Good morning from Koh Phayam on the 2nd day, but it's also the day I have to leave.
I want to sleep for another night, but the fun is over. T.T
With limited time, we had to make the most of our experience on Koh Phayam.
Woke up this morning and went for a walk on the beach, looking for some fun photos to take.
Taking pictures of the dog. Taking random pictures. I'm a photographer who takes random pictures, haha.
After packing our belongings and having breakfast at the resort, we set off.
Then prepare to travel back to the shore.
Before heading to the pier, let's stop by Khao Kwai Bay for a bit.
Ao Khao Kwai is a bay located on the northern side of the west coast of the island.
The bay is characterized by a sandy beach that curves inward, resembling a buffalo's horn, and is approximately 2 kilometers long. The beach has fine white sand and a smooth surface, making it ideal for swimming. At low tide, the northern end of the bay reveals rocky outcrops, while the southern end is a wide sandy beach that extends to the mangrove forest of the Moken village. In the middle of the bay, there are numerous bungalows and accommodations along the beachfront.
And one more thing that my friend recommended when I came to Koh Phayam was not to miss seeing the pink clams.
This is Khao Kwai Bay. The beach is full of small pink shells. It's so beautiful!
As we walked, we came across various rock formations and mountains that resembled different shapes, depending on your imagination.
Tourist attractions suitable for relaxation, quiet and most natural
Koh Phayam is another option for friends when they have the opportunity to visit Koh Phayam.
Things you shouldn't miss are
1. Hippy Bar, the hippest bar on Koh Phayam
2. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset at Ao Yai, where the panoramic view is unobstructed.
3. Admire the pink shells of Ao Khao Kwai, with its beautiful beach and various rock formations.
And lastly, feel free to say hello and chat with me. <<I'm happy to give advice on traveling with a camera.>>
