Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've written a review, and I'm not sure where to start. Honestly, I'm hesitant to write this because I was so impressed with this place. So much so that I'm afraid it will become too popular and the natural beauty will change, like so many other places (I'm a bit selfish, I admit). However, the park does limit the number of visitors per day.
Please help us protect this place by not littering or doing anything that could damage the environment. ((:

Booking

The park will open for registration to study the nature trails at the Stone Pillar Cave and the Cave of Swiftlets around January.

Stay tuned to the Khlong Lan National Park Facebook page for information on when bookings will open.

It is open to the public for two months, from March to April every year.

.

.

When we booked, we called on the first day, the line was busy all day. We called on the second day when they allowed booking, it turned out that it was almost full. Only the Songkran period was left.

Those who want to go, hurry up. The officer whispered that this place is becoming very popular now.

How to get there

Lam Khlong Ngu National Park (Lam Khlong Ngu National Park Unit 1 Khao Phra In)

Located in Thong Pha Phum District, on the way to Sangkhla. There is no public transportation available.

Our van from Bangkok to is very far away.

The wheels turned from 12:00 to almost 20:00 at the park.

Preparation

  • Tent Sleeping bag

- Dry food such as instant noodles and canned fish, eat it until my hair falls out.

- Waterproof bag (this is important)

- Headlamp (used for descending into the Hin Sa Hin Cave)

- Massage

// The park has tents for rent. There is also a food service that charges 480 baht for 5 meals (not sure, but it should be around this price). //

This is a rough outline of the preparations. The rest is about preparing your mind and body. If you're ready, let's jump in together.

Day 1: Tham Sao Hin

For the first day, we will go on an adventure to Tham Sao Hin.
The highlight of the day is the natural stone pillars formed by the joining of stalactites and stalagmites, reaching a height of 62.5 meters. It is the second tallest stone pillar in the world, while the tallest stone pillar in China is 32 meters high, half the height of the second tallest. Just this is exciting enough, plus it's the first time in my life I've gone hiking in a life jacket. Where else can you do that?

Our day started bright and early. The officers had scheduled us for a 9 am meeting, so we woke up early to prepare breakfast and get ourselves ready.

It was past eight o'clock by the time the stove was lit and the water was hot. We hurried to the meeting point.

However, it turned out that we were the last group to arrive, so we had to wait for the car that had dropped off the earlier groups. While we were waiting, we had a pleasant chat with the staff.

He said that each group will not be allowed to go in close succession because the cave can only accommodate a small number of people at a time. They need to leave some space between groups.

This is Mr. Somchai, who will be taking care of us for the next two days. There is also another officer named Mr. Ya (there are 10 of us, with 2 officers).

If you read this, I want to thank you for everything. You took such good care of us. You really did your best, and so did the other officers.

Thank you again. I want to emphasize that the staff here are very good. You can rest assured that there is nothing to worry about. ('/\')

Finally, our car arrived.

The road is a dirt path, so it's a good idea to cover your mouth to avoid dust. The scenery along the way is beautiful. My friend told me that

It's like the way to Vang Vieng, but we've never been to Vang Vieng. Anyone who has been there, try to prove it.

The popular corner, let's say our guide brought us here to take photos, like a check-in point of this place.

Let's go, Brother Somchai.

The first part will be a hike through a sparse bamboo forest, covering a distance of almost 4 kilometers.

The way up was a steep climb, but the way down was a breeze. There was a hill called the "Hill of the Conquerors" that was especially challenging. I was exhausted by the end of the hike.

Be careful of the rocks during this time. Most of the officers wear rubber shoes to prevent slipping.

After walking for about eleven o'clock, we reached the lunch break point, which was also the first jumping point.

This is the lowest point. I went to my friend without hesitation and jumped. As for me, I stood there and took a deep breath. It seems low.

But it's actually quite tall, lol.

So comfortable that I don't want to go anywhere.

She likes to play difficult positions.

After finishing our meal, we donned our headlamps and ventured into the Pillar Cave. The cave was pitch black.

You have to swim against the current to get in. Leave anything unnecessary outside and come back for it later.

Go in 10, come out 10, okay? Take care of each other.

Headlamp, bought from a 20 baht store. We were excited to see if it was waterproof or not. The results were good. Applause.

I really like this rock pattern. For us, we think that nature is amazing and beautiful in itself.

After trying all day, we finally folded the frog. See you.

The world's tallest stone pillar is a hundred times more impressive in person than in pictures. You have to see it to believe it.

As we came out, we encountered the second diving platform, which was slightly higher than the first. For my friend, it was a breeze.

For me? 55555 I'm not used to underwater campaigns yet. I'm not strong enough yet.

Once you're done here, you'll be going up, up, up, up the mountain, up until you reach the top.

The water that was there is now gone. By the time we reached the accommodation, it was already dark. Another day has passed.

DAY 2

Today we will go to the Swiftlet Cave. They told us that we should go early today,
because the light will be more beautiful in the morning and we will see the swiftlets.
But in reality, even though we woke up earlier than usual, we ended up being in the second to last group.
Everyone is so fit! 55555 I give up.

Today, the way to get there by car is different from yesterday. It takes about 20 minutes. The same officer as before.

Today's hike was a short one, we walked in a figure 8, entering and exiting on different paths.

There are stairs at intervals.

This flower is called Dok Khao Tong. It is a rare flower.

The reason this place is called the Cave of the Swiftlets is because it is home to swiftlets, as the name suggests.

That's one of the reasons why Mr. Somchai wants you to come early. If you come late, you won't see the birds.

This place has a dimensional gate! Once you pass through it, it's like you've entered another dimension.

So beautiful that words cannot describe it.

It also smells like lemongrass.

Brother Somchai said it was the smell of saliva mixed with some kind of leaf, I can't remember anymore (T-T)

This area has a lot of bees, just as beautiful as it is.

However, we don't have any pictures because we only recorded videos. After jumping, we just went with the flow of the water. It was fun.

And here we come to the moment everyone has been waiting for, this angle. Let's just say, for us, if we don't get it, it's like we never came.

Who said we didn't play Songkran? We did. We even poured water on the oldest person in the trip to ask for blessings. 55

I've never done anything like this before, floating down the river on a rope. It's amazing.

The mission to conquer the Alien Stone, Doraemon Stone, is finally coming to an end because we have found the last landmark.

In addition, there are snake stones, Mae Nak's hand stones, and skull stones, depending on each person's imagination.

Queue up, jump, the last point before the end of the trip, this point is the highest, the most brutal, the most fun.

Every beginning has an end. As it began with a picture, it will end with that picture.

This trip is very impressive. In our opinion, the place is beautiful.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Thank you again for everything.

And lastly, but not least, thank you to all 9 of my friends.

For this review, if you like the photos and find them beautiful, we would like to give credit to

Our friends had a blast for 3 days and 2 nights. Now that they're back home, they're feeling lonely.
