Where to travel

Hello everyone, I'm back after introducing Koh Chang, Trat Province. This time, I will take you to another tourist attraction in Chiang Mai. Many people may know it already and have experienced the fresh air in the big mountains. They must have said in unison that they did not regret going to Mae Kampong Village, Mae On District, Chiang Mai Province. First of all, before I get into the story and watch the accompanying pictures and read the review, this is my second post.

Mae Kampong is a small village nestled in a large valley with lush green forests that are abundant all year round. 5555 I've talked too much, I'm afraid you'll get bored reading it, so I'll keep it simple and tell you how to get to Mae Kampong, how to get there, what to eat, where to stay, and what to do. Let's take a look. I may not be a very good writer, but I apologize for that. " I started my journey at around 11:00 AM on June 19, 2016, from Chiang Mai city. The distance to Mae Kampong is about 50 kilometers. It's a nice drive from Chiang Mai city, but it's a real pain in the ass to get there. I drove a motorcycle and it took less than an hour, but that's if you don't stop anywhere. The route I chose was the Doi Saket-Mae Kampong route. The road is good, not too winding, and the road is good all the way to Mae Kampong. Anyway, if you're too lazy to read, I'll summarize it briefly at the end.

"For those who come from other provinces" If you come alone without a car for transportation, I recommend driving a motorcycle. You can rent one at the Arcade, Chiang Mai Bus Terminal.

Prices vary from 200-300 baht per day. It is also recommended to fill the tank with fuel in case you want to visit other places. But for those who have their own car, you can go directly without having to rent a car. 5555

There are 2 routes:
1. Chiang Mai - Doi Saket - Mae Kampong
2. Chiang Mai - San Kamphaeng - Mae Kampong
