We love islands, every island we love 555 After hanging up with my friend, I rushed to take a shower and get dressed to go out. The time was 2:00 PM.
As I stepped out of the condo, I looked up at the sky. Uh oh, it's getting cloudy. The clouds are really thick. I'm wondering what to do now.
In the end, nothing can stop us. When it comes to travel, just tell us where to go and we'll be there!
This trip to Koh Kret is my third time. No matter how many times I go, I never get bored. Even though it's the same place, it's a different time and a different situation.
Because I believe that every journey has new experiences to learn from.
There are many piers to cross to Koh Kret, depending on your convenience.
As we boarded the boat, we looked back and saw a beautiful temple.
Welcome to Koh Kret
The route offers both walking and cycling options for you to choose from.
As the rain poured down, we ran into this house. The people here were very kind.
Turning to see inside the house, this windowpane makes us miss our grandmother's house when we were young. Thinking back to the past, we're getting old, aren't we?
Sitting and making music, waiting for the rain to stop.
The rain stopped, so we continued walking. What we saw all along the way here was the pottery wheel. It was really beautiful.
Followed by a mouthwatering appetizer, Fried Banana Blossom Fritters, so delicious you'll regret not trying it.
Stop by to pay respects to the Buddha for good luck.
After paying respects to the Buddha, we continued our walk.
We love looking at flowers after the rain stops falling. It makes us feel like the flowers look more beautiful and fresh instantly.
After the rain stopped, the cool atmosphere like this, eating something hot will feel delicious right away.
Hot bhabhi cookies, anyone?
Followed by ancient Thai desserts that are both delicious and beautiful that you wouldn't dare to eat.
Purple bouquet
Strolling along, I came across a crowd of people. Curious, I walked closer and saw an old man making candy.
The beautiful art, I stood and admired it until I was lost in it.
We stopped by for a drink and sat in the shop because it started to rain.
As the evening set in, we boarded a boat to cross back to the other side of the river. What caught our attention were the scattered traditional Thai houses along the waterfront, which we absolutely adored. It's always a heartwarming feeling to witness them. We remain captivated and enamored by the genuine Thai art and culture that has been preserved for us, the younger generation, to experience in real life rather than just in books.
Every journey is important to us, even if it is only a short distance or to the same place.
But sometimes it can also lead you to unforgettable new experiences.
