Phu Soi Dao...If you are someone who enjoys hiking and experiencing nature, far from civilization,
I'm sure you must have heard this name before.
Phu Soi Dao... is a long-distance hike of more than 6 km. (But I have met tourists who have walked there and back)
The beauty of this place is abundant, from the blooming Sesbania sesban in the rainy season to the sea of stars in the winter.
All of which have left an unforgettable impression on visitors.
When visiting Phu Soi Dao, we must start walking from Phu Soi Dao Waterfall.
Getting to Phusoidao Waterfall can be done by public transportation or by car.
However, I would advise against taking the bus as it is very time-consuming. I have personally traveled using that method before.
Let me tell you, it doesn't work at all. Let me tell you briefly like this.
The journey began with a bus ride from Mo Chit, Bangkok, to Phitsanulok.
From Phitsanulok, take an old bus that starts running at five in the morning to Chaittrakan District.
From Chat Trakan District, there are only two songthaews per day that pass by Phu Soi Dao Waterfall, one in each direction.
If you take the aforementioned songthaew, it will take about 1 pm to reach Phusoidao Waterfall.
If you don't want to wait for the songthaew, you can hire a car, which will cost around 1,000 baht.
And then think about the way back... I'm so tired...
Therefore, if you don't want to drive yourself, I recommend renting a van instead.
Okay, let's get into the real content now…..
Oh...before you travel to Phu Soi Dao, it's a good idea to call and ask for other information as well.

Talking about driving to
There are many ways to travel from Bangkok.
The two most popular routes are the Wat Bot District route and the Nakhon Thai route.
Both routes take about the same amount of time, but I prefer the Wat Bot route.
Because there are few trucks and they don't pass through the city.
If the road to Nakhon Thai on Route 12 is completed, it will be possible to drive at high speeds.
However, when turning onto Road 2013, there will be a lot of trucks and passing through Nakhon Thai District, which has a lot of traffic during that time.
I like to use this route, Wat Bot Road.
Most of the city arrives at Chat Trakan District, and we will stop to buy fresh food at
After visiting the Pa Daeng Municipal Market, we continued our journey.
We will be at the office soon.
The fog was very thick along the way. I encountered it frequently.
The advantage of bringing your own car is that it allows you to control your time.
You won't be able to eat if you take a songthaew. It won't leave until late morning.
The fog has cleared.
Upon arrival at the office,
We will have to park the car here and then we can go to the tourist information center at 1.
This will be the registration point. Prepare your belongings and weigh the rice that the porters will carry.
Then take a saleng to the second tourist service point.
The second tourist service point is located in front of Phusoidao Waterfall, which is the way up to Phusoidao.
There's nothing much to it here, just check your belongings, check your boarding pass and luggage tag, and you can walk right up.
Phu Soi Dao Waterfall, Level 1
Actually, there are waterfalls every two kilometers in the first two kilometers.
If you're not in a hurry, you can stop and take some photos.
The gateway to Phu Soi Dao. From here, it's another six kilometers. Keep going!
There are waterfalls to see and rest along the way.
To reach the top, you must pass through these five hills:
1. Farewell Hill 2. Hill of the Defeated Masters 3. Hill of the Rising Forest 4. Hill of the Tigers 5. Hill of Death
Because if it's missing, life is difficult... luckily I have shoe repair skills with me.
The reward for the journey at Death Hill is a beautiful viewpoint like this.
If you come during the month of August, there is another highlight waiting for you, which is the beautiful flower of the Naak.
The time it took me to hike up the mountain
Upon reaching the top of the pine forest, which is the camping ground.
We will go to the tourist service point 3 first.
Surrounded by cockscomb flowers.
At this third service point, we come to record our arrival time and collect our food and supplies.
And then prepare to book a porter for the return trip as well.
Then let's go pitch our tents and find a place to sleep.
Done, then take a picture.
The fog is still thick this morning.
The top of the pine forest has two main walking paths:
Waterfall Stream with Main Kilometers
The Tipya Waterfall is a short walk down from here.
The path is quite slippery and steep, so be very careful.
If you're lucky, you might even see red maple leaves.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you… below the way down to Sai Thib Waterfall.
Our friends are waiting to welcome us... those are the snails.
The other one is the main kilometer line.
This line will be a nature study walk around the pine forest area.
The highlights are the Thai-Lao border marker and the sunset viewing point.
If you're going to Phu Soi Dao, don't forget to bring a raincoat.
Because here, the rain often falls intermittently.
Just these two routes and another day is gone.
Don't forget to book a porter in advance before your return day.
Otherwise, there might not be any porters, you'll have to carry your own stuff back.
The morning mist still lingers with us.
But just as we were about to walk down, the sky opened up to bid us farewell.
After that, it's time to walk down.
After going down, we will pick up our luggage and pay extra if we have rented additional items at the Tourist Service Point 4.
This point will be close to point one. It is located next to the park's welfare store.
It's not difficult to find because they will deliver the car to us.
The descent took much less time than before. Hehehehehe
This was one of my favorite trips.
I still remember the memories of my first visit to Phu Soi Dao.... The second time was the same......
And this time, when I visited Phu Soi Dao again... many things have changed.
It may be good or bad, I won't judge because the world keeps turning.
Everything is constantly changing...
No one can say how long this kind of nature will be with us.
Another trip to Phu Soi Dao might have a cable car going up there.........
Those who want to travel... hurry up and travel.......
Could you please provide the contact number for the park again?
