• Hello everyone!
I'm back with a new trip, yay!
This time we're going to Chiang Mai, yay!
Originally, we were going to Chiang Mai for 2 days and 1 night.
But wait, if you call now, no, not that…
We got sponsored, tada!
We got free accommodation from a friend of a friend's mother, haha.
So we ended up staying for 3 days and 2 nights. •

• This trip, the original version focuses on eco trips.
How much money do you have to spend on travel and food?
The journey is whatever, hey 555
In summary, we traveled by bus both ways.
Before the trip, I arranged to meet with the car rental company.
I booked a car with a local company, I don't know if that's what they call it.
This time I used the service of the shop "Eat, Travel, Car Rental, Chiang Mai".
Arrange the place to pick up the car and the date and time to pick up and return the car.
As for the expense details, I will attach them at the end of the review. •

• Day 0 Let's consider this Day 0.
Because it's the day we start our journey.
We used the bus service of the blue company 5555 Whatever, whatever company it is.
Let's get on the bus at Mo Chit. The 20.35 round should get us to Chiang Mai in the morning.
Check in, pick up the car we booked, and then let's go! •

• Day 1: We've arrived in Chiang Mai right on time!
It's a little past 5:30 am, and as soon as we got off the bus,
a group of red trucks appeared out of nowhere. Red trucks, y'all! 555
Before I knew it, I was following some random lady somewhere. ==* •

• And here are the lucky faces

Who we agreed to rent a red car for 250 baht

Akhet-Wat Chet Yot •

• After agreeing on a price (which wasn't easy), we all got into the car.

Luckily, we got free accommodation on this trip, thanks to some connections and no shady deals.

As for the person who hooked us up, they were sitting next to the driver. •

• After taking a shower and resting for a bit, my stomach started to growl.

The car company called to ask for a delay in the delivery of the car, so we went out for a walk.

The first place we visited was Wat Chedi Yot in front of the clock tower.

We went for a walk to kill time, waiting for the car we had booked, and to allow time for lunch. •

• After finishing our meal, it was already past 9 pm.

We headed back to our accommodation to gather our belongings and wait for the car to pick us up.

When the car arrived around 9:30 am, we set off on our journey.

Our first destination, Doi Inthanon, was about a 2-hour drive from Chiang Mai city center.

• This journey, there is no expert on the route at all.

So I begged for help from an assistant named GPS, nicknamed P'Jee.

Throughout the journey, without P'Jee, we would be dead. 555 •

• We finally arrived! After getting lost in a hilarious way.

We took the wrong turn a few times, haha. ๕๕๕

If it weren't for P'Jee, we probably would have driven to another province. T^T •

• Upon arriving at Doi Inthanon National Park, there is a checkpoint where you have to pay an entrance fee.

I parked my car on the side of the road, and as soon as I got out,

an auntie came up to me and said that I could get a discount if I was a student.

I showed her my student ID, and the entrance fee was reduced from 50 baht to 20 baht. Then the auntie said,

"Please buy some garlands from me. I'll use them to make offerings at the top." Okay, auntie. ==* •

• And this is the trusty car for this trip, haha, it's been through a lot.

The favorite food of this car is bamboo and the back of the van, haha, no, no.

This 1500 engine can take 5 people up the mountain, it's easy. •

• On the way up, there was a light drizzle.

After driving about halfway, you will see thin fog in some places.

And very thick in many places until you can't see the road.

Be careful when driving for those who will drive up. •

• Along the way, there was some fog and drizzle.

There were people cycling up and walking up, and of course they weren't Thai. ๕๕๕

I met this guy by chance when I went down to take a picture.

He asked if I could take a picture of him. Wow, what a kind heart.

So I invited him to take a picture with me, but I didn't let him ride in the car.

Because the car was really full, not because I didn't want to. •

• Almost at the top of the mountain, let's stop by Giw Mae Pan viewpoint.

The weather is sooooooo cold, even colder than winter in Bangkok.

(Note: Closed for visits from June to October)

There is also a restaurant at this point, with grilled pork, grilled pork neck,

and all kinds of grilled food. •

• Finally arrived at Doi Inthanon. As soon as I opened the car door,

Wow, it's so cold!

The fog is so thick that I can't see the road. It looks like it might rain too.

I'm not sure if it's dew or not, but everyone's head is getting wet.

If you want to be a hipster, I recommend buying a colorful raincoat to take pictures with.

• After walking for a while, we couldn't stand the cold anymore.

We took the flowers we bought to worship (not sure what it's called)

Then we quickly got in the car and drove down the mountain.

Along the way, there were tourist attractions to stop by.

There were quite a few. Today we stopped at 2 places.

There is Mae Klang Luang village where the rice has just been planted and Wachirathan Waterfall. •

• We enjoyed our time at Doi Inthanon, walking and taking pictures.
Time passed by and it was around 4 pm.
Originally, we planned to go to the Grand Canyon next.
So we quickly ate lunch at the waterfall.
Then we drove to the Grand Canyon.
But... there was a problem. The sky didn't cooperate.
It started raining heavily without any mercy. ๕๕๕๕
As soon as we turned into the entrance,
The rain poured down like, oh my god, we really wanted to come here.
But the weather didn't cooperate.
So we decided to go back to the city.
After driving for about 500 meters, the rain stopped.
Hmm, we can come back tomorrow. ๕๕
We'll go relax at Ang Kaew Reservoir, CMU first. •

• Enjoy the breeze and the view at Ang Kaew, a place of sparkling beauty and delight.

That's what they say, haha. 5555

I've been sitting here for about 10 minutes and it's started raining again. T^T

I've decided to head back to my accommodation to freshen up and change clothes.

Let's have dinner now, I'm hungry!

Day 1 is done, yay!

After being heartbroken by the Grand Canyon

and Ang Kaew because of the rain,

I went back to my accommodation to meditate. 55

I've decided to go find something to eat at Kad Na Mo. •

• Day 2: Woke up before the rooster crowed.
Rushed to wake up P'Jee and hopped on the motorbike without even eating breakfast. 55555
We were afraid we wouldn't make it in time for the good weather. 55555
It took about 45 minutes to travel from the city to Mon Cham.
When we arrived, it was worth it. The weather was great, there was a light mist,
there were many kinds of flowers, butterflies, and mountains. It was so beautiful. We spent some time taking pictures
and walking around. After a while, our stomachs started to growl, so we went down to eat.
There was food available on the mountain, but as students, we couldn't really afford it. •

• After having lunch and drinks, drive down the mountain for a bit.

Along the way, you will find the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden.

It's not far from Mon Cham, and it's beautiful. It has all kinds of plants, you could say.

Some areas are still closed for renovation.

During this time, the skywalk is also closed for renovation. •

• After admiring the diverse species of birds and trees,

we agreed that we missed one place yesterday.

We haven't visited the Grand Canyon yet, so we have to go today.

So we hurried to leave 555

We're here! The Grand Canyon of Chiang Mai

With the hope that it won't rain, we were worried all the way.

It was a little cloudy, but luckily it didn't rain when we arrived.

It's a pity that I didn't bring a change of clothes to jump into the water.

P.S. There are so many foreigners. •

• After enjoying the fresh air and the view at the Grand Canyon,

We drove along the same route for a while.

And then we came across...

Why are you so excited?

Baan Kao Mai Resort. Let's stop and take some pictures.

Please inform the security guard before entering.

P.S. There is only one historical picture, the rest are just me running away. •

• Day 2 trip ends. At night, our stomachs started to growl.

We started driving around looking for a local restaurant.

After a long discussion, we decided to eat at Nimmanhaemin.

I must say, it took us a long time to find a parking spot.

If you're going, go early in the evening.

We ended up at Tong Tem Toh restaurant.

Location: Nimmanhaemin Soi 13. The waiting line is longer than Bonchon, I'm telling you. •

• The food here is delicious.

If you come with a lot of people, it's not expensive at all. •

• After we finished our savory meal, it's time for dessert, of course. 5555

We have a separate stomach for dessert.

The next stop is Aon Nom Sod, a fresh milk shop behind Chiang Mai University.

They have toasted bread, steamed bread, and all kinds of other things.

After we were full, we went back to sleep. •

• Day 3, the last day of our trip.

Today we have an appointment to return the car at 11:20 am.

They give us a 2-hour grace period, which is very generous.

Today we woke up a little late and didn't go far.

We decided to go eat Chinese donuts and buy souvenirs at Kad Luang. •

• Dinosaur-shaped Pa-tong-ko, blah blah blah 555 How does it taste?

Go try it yourself at Kad Luang •

• Now that I'm here, I decided to buy some souvenirs to take home. Yay!

After returning from the market, it's time to return the car.

From now on, it's only red taxis for me. Goodbye, Mr. G! 555

Today, there's not much to do. I'm just taking it easy. After returning from the market,

I bought some things and then took a nap to recharge.

I returned the car and got my deposit back just after noon.

This is what I look like after returning the car.

For those who are planning to travel like this, I recommend renting a car.

I think it's better.

Because it's much more convenient to get around. •

• Our destination for lunch today is

Khao Soi Nimmanha, Soi 7 and Iberry, Soi 17. •

• Today we ended our trip at Wat Phra Singh and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

for good luck before heading home. Yay!

After praying, it was already evening.

We set out to find a red truck to Maya (MAYA)

to buy souvenirs for the security guard and the cleaning lady at the dorm.

This evening, we went back to eat dinner at the food stall in front of the dorm.

After that, we called a red truck to Arkhet and went home. •

##Summary of expenses for this trip##
