Hello everyone, this review is a special edition of "Love Hometown" with a group of little ones who formed out of the blue. 55555

I've said since the first few reviews that our reviews will be a collection of memorable moments to look back on when we're old. Hehe

#pohnooktongkluaytanart

Actually, this trip was not planned to go to Samet Dao at all. 55555
It will be a bit long because there are a lot of peak stories.

Note 1: There are other places in Nan city along the southern route scattered around.

Okay, let's get started.

The starting point of our trip is in the city of Loei. Since we are local people, there is no travel review at all. 55555
We believe that if you come to Nan, you must have heard the name "Wat Phumin" before.

And that's our first stop for today, yay! And besides that,

We love the coffee shop named after the forest with anaconda.

It's beautiful, unique, and the perfect place to relax.

Let's go to the temple. It's a bit hot inside, haha. The sun is strong.

The history of Wat Phumin is long and fascinating.

The main Buddha statue is unlike any other temple, it's amazing!

You have to see it for yourself to believe it.

There are people there who will tell you all about it, it's very enjoyable. (There are actually four main Buddha statues.)

This is the renowned mural painting of the temple.

"Whisper of Love, World-Renowned"

The area in front of the temple is an open space known as "Khueang Mueang Nan".

This is the side of the temple. There is parking available for those who come by car.

For those who want to ride the tram around the city, there seems to be one available.

It seems like it, haha. I didn't ask for any details, but I think there is one. I saw a lot of people riding it.

Another place that is a must-visit for photo opportunities is the Lee La Wa Dee arch, which is popular all year round, whether it has leaves or not, people come to take pictures.

It is located at the Nan National Museum, right next to Wat Phumin. Just walk across the street and you're there.

This is also the place where the black elephant tusks, a symbol of Nan province, are kept. But I didn't take you in to see them, haha. 5555

Before heading up the mountain, let's grab a bite to eat.

We stopped at "Sud Kong Dee" restaurant, which literally translates to "the end of the alley." And it truly is located at the very end of a small lane, right by the Nan River.

They offer delicious desserts, including toast.

The desserts are delicious and the prices are reasonable. They also have cakes, toast, and other sweet treats.

The shop is surrounded by nature and has many cute photo spots.

Let's go, let's go, let's go! Our main destination, as the name of the trip suggests, is Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park.

Along the way, we got a little lost, haha.

And here we are at Sri Nan National Park. Now you can be sure you're on the right track!

A short drive further up the mountain will take you to Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park. We arrived at a comfortable time, having driven for about 2 hours from the city.

It took about 2 hours to reach the park from the city. We arrived around 2:30 PM, and the sun was scorching hot.

After setting up our tents, we escaped the heat by grabbing lunch and continuing our journey. A short drive beyond Doi Pha Hom Pok is Pha Chu Viewpoint.

This is another scenic spot where you can camp overnight. Interestingly, it boasts the longest Thai national flag rope in the country.

The Fabric Tent at Doi Samer Dao is just as beautiful as the Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park.

Before leaving, the group was shocked.

As the weather cooled down, we decided to set up camp at Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park. Along the way, we stopped to take photos and were greeted by swarms of mosquitoes and spiders. We couldn't help but laugh as we swatted them away.

In the late afternoon, when you return to Samet Dao, it will be a bit sunny, but there will be more people.
If you want to pitch a tent here, you are not allowed to park your car on top. You have to park it where they allow you to park.

The atmosphere is characterized by bright sunshine, a gentle breeze, and a slight warmth.

As evening approaches, people gather to witness the breathtaking sunset.

We love this picture. It makes us smile every time we see it. (With permission from your father.)

This section is called "Pha Hua Singh," named after the cliff face behind it.

In the evening, we ordered a barbecue. Note: I recommend buying a set from downstairs and then buying another set from upstairs.

Because it's very little. Luckily, we prepared snacks, milk, butter, and soda from downstairs.

The peak was at night. When it got late, the weather was good, so we went to lie down and watch the stars.

The stars were so beautiful, filling the sky. I thought it wouldn't rain heavily because the sky was so open.

When it was time, we went back to our tents and agreed to wake up at five to see the sea of fog.

It turned out that at 3 am, we heard the sound of "slap, slap, slap". We opened the tent and saw a light drizzle.

So we took our shoes into the tent and went back to sleep.

At 3:30 am, the friend who was sleeping with me woke up with a start and said that it was raining and called me to collect the shoes. 555

(I laughed to myself that when I woke up to collect them, you didn't wake up, did you?)

Well, after that, we couldn't sleep anymore because it was raining very heavily.

A friend from another tent sent a message saying that we should evacuate. When we opened the tent, we saw that the water had surrounded the tent.

Continuing from last night, when I saw that the situation was not good and the tent was about to be flooded, I quickly packed my things, wrapped myself in a blanket, and ran to sleep in the car.

That day, I thought I wouldn't be able to see the sea of fog. Around six o'clock, the rain started to stop, and I saw some thin fog.

Oh my god, that's the sea of fog! I had already given up because the rain wouldn't stop, but in the end, I got to see it.

P.S. This is the view from where we parked our car.

Good morning! As soon as I saw the thick fog, I rushed to brush my teeth and get dressed to go to the viewpoint where we evacuated last night.

It's a bit muddy.

Do you see what's behind us? It's amazing, it's so good!

And this is what we want to see, yay!

This was taken from the viewpoint, Teletabby field (we actually made it up, it doesn't have a name).

We also think it looks like it, so mission complete.

And we have come to the final corner of the trip.
After the fog started to clear, we packed up our tents and returned the barbecue pan.
We then headed towards Nan city. On the way down from the mountain,

if you look to the left, there is an entrance to the Sao Din Na Noi.
Since we were already there, we decided to stop by. Go, go, go!
Oh, the traces of civilization from the rain last night caused the road here to be flooded, haha.

It is said that the "Sao Din Na Noi" (Earth Pillars of Na Noi) were formed by the accumulation of sedimentary soil, which was uplifted from the earth's surface over millions of years. Over time, water and rain eroded the soil, creating the strange and unusual shapes we see today. It is estimated that the Earth Pillars of Na Noi are between 30,000 and 10,000 years old and were once part of the seabed. This information was learned during my first year of high school in the subject of "Nan, Our Hometown."

Alright, this is really the last time. We headed into town, our stomachs rumbling and our supplies dwindling.

So we stopped for a bite to eat at "Eat Well, Live Well", hoping to fill our bellies.

The interior design of the shop is difficult to categorize, but we found it aesthetically pleasing.

The shop is divided into two zones, one of which includes seating for coffee consumption.

The food is delicious and affordable for everyone. If you're visiting Nan, be sure to stop by!

This is the end of our review. Every time we miss you guys, we'll come back and read this. ^^

If we hadn't decided to go home, we wouldn't have been on this trip.

We feel so lucky. 5555 Thank you everyone for being so tough with us. Yay!

Let's go on another trip together.
