"The mist of the southern city"… Part of the slogan of Kapong District, a district of Phang Nga Province, which indicates the nature that surrounds this city under the fresh, pollution-free air and cool all year round. There are also various natural attractions ready for people who love water and forests to come and experience. The most important key to a worthwhile trip to Kapong is "morning time". Therefore, this trip, we started by traveling to stay at a hotel in Kapong town, which is the only one, "Kapong Garden Resort".

This hotel has a good atmosphere in the rooms with balconies extending into the "lotus field". But this time I was a bit unlucky because The hotel has just planted new lotus flowers. So I didn't have the chance to see the lotus flowers in the morning like the last time I stayed.

The last time I stayed

This round ( -_- )

It's a bit of a shame, but the purpose of this round is to visit other tourist attractions that we have our eyes on, not this one. But even though there are no lotus flowers, there are large flocks of large open-billed storks walking around looking for snails in the lotus field for us to enjoy.

The atmosphere inside the bedroom gives the feeling that we are in a wooden house with windows all around to allow us to fully experience the atmosphere. There are both air conditioning and fans to choose from, depending on your preference.

What has replaced the lotus flower that disappeared tonight is the open sky, full of stars.
(If you are a good photographer, you will definitely capture the Milky Way, because I checked with the Planets App, the Milky Way is right on the roof of the room.)

[This is the best I could capture Y_Y ]

Visiting Kapong City requires an early wake-up call, as the morning hours offer the best experience.

I woke up at 6:00 AM.

The morning atmosphere at the resort was filled with a light mist and a chilly breeze.

The air was incredibly fresh, and I couldn't resist taking deep breaths to fill my lungs with its invigorating essence.

After taking a deep breath of fresh air, my stomach started to growl. I had heard that there is a big market in Kapong town every Sunday morning for people to buy things.
It would be nice if we could walk around the market in the cold weather with a light fog, like today.

The medium-sized market was set up on an open space in the cool, comfortable air. The market was full of vendors, mostly early risers from this town. Various foods and traditional snacks were displayed side by side, along with fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers from the garden. Just looking at it, it was clear that it was completely different from the market in the city. I didn't hesitate to buy some snacks to prepare for breakfast at our next destination.

Our next destination is Pak Pu Hot Spring, a natural tourist attraction in Kapong District, Phang Nga Province, which has been abandoned and forgotten. There are some pictures from friends who love nature without any modification. But this is the place that will make our "relaxation" time on this trip more valuable.

The check-in point is not available on Google Map. Therefore, to get there, search for "Pak Pu School" first and then drive straight along Phetkasem Road 5014. If you are not sure, you can ask for directions at the Ta Na Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Tel. 0-7649-9131

When you reach the end of the road, don't be alarmed by the dirt path. Drive a few more meters and you will find a wide clearing where you can park your car and discover a crystal-clear stream.

After a short walk across a stream that alternates between cool and warm, you will come across a hot spring with steam billowing out, reaching a temperature of approximately 75 degrees Celsius (hot enough to boil an egg!). Therefore, if you are bringing children, please be cautious!

At this point, I must say that the atmosphere is incredibly romantic.

Ancient snacks, breakfast from the market in the mist city, can be arranged to match the atmosphere. The taste of eating is ready to be enjoyed with the sound of the gentle stream of Khlong Pu, where anyone who wants to experience the cool freshness from the water, or wants to relax from the hot spring from the well mixed with the stream until it is warm enough. It is a breakfast without any preparation and happiness that is hard to find anywhere else.

[ The best time to visit is between 7.00-8.30 AM. ]

After that, the weather will start to get hotter, and the coolness and fog will disappear.
"The fog is like an illusion. If you go at the wrong time, you won't be able to see its beauty."

The fun doesn't stop there!!
When the weather starts to get hot, the beauty starts to fade away and we've soaked in the hot springs to our heart's content.
The next destination is a beautiful waterfall in Kapong.

"Hin Lad Waterfall"
Located in Moo 1, Kapong Subdistrict, is a small waterfall with a clear and clean stream. The water flows through large and small rocks, alternating back and forth. Both sides of the waterway are shaded by trees and the villagers' orchards. There are many spots to play in the water, both at the waterfall and in the stream.

Most tourists play in the water at the end of the stream because they are unsure if they can travel on the rough road.
This makes few people come to this clear stream. And of course, we are lucky ^_^

The crystal-clear water flows through the small and large rocks along the way, which is probably the origin of the name Hin Lad Waterfall.
The rocks that have been eroded by the water are polished until they are round and smooth, small and large, in various beautiful colors.

Our destination is the waterfall at the top of the stream, which requires driving further up to the large dam.
built by government agencies to store water.

After walking for about 500 meters through a shady path, the sound of a waterfall can be faintly heard.

The green of the trees and the coolness of the water are refreshing to the very core.

It reminds me of the tourist attractions in Japan, with beautiful pavilions by the water. This view is just as beautiful, except that we don't have beautiful pavilions like theirs.

Let your body absorb as much oxygen as possible.
Breathe out the polluted air of the city as much as possible.
" Just staying here for 1 hour is like extending your life by 10 years. "

This trip,

Even though I had to wake up early,

Even though it wasn't comfortable,

What I got back

Is a body reset ... with "Nature"

Before leaving, don't miss the opportunity to ask for blessings from "Luang Pho Saeng" at Wat Pak Thak, who is highly respected by the people of Kapong.

It's like the holy father is blessing us.... The cloudy sky has turned bright and sunny.
The holy father must want us to have beautiful pictures of his temple ^_^

g

Whenever my body and mind are weakened by the city.... I will definitely come back here to nourish my body and mind again.
