And the rain welcomed us very well, pouring down like a trip for 3 days and 2 nights, falling continuously for 2 full days.

However, "Rain" cannot stop or ruin our travel plans, even though it may be a hindrance to our trip.

The journey there was by bus, departing after dark and arriving the next morning. After finishing work, I shouldered my backpack and headed to Mo Chit, where I boarded the bus and slept the whole way.

The return flight options are limited to two airlines: Nok Air and AirAsia, with one flight per day.

Centrally located in the heart of the tourist area, this hotel is perfect for those who are not renting a car. While it may not have a view of the Mekong River, it is within easy walking distance of many attractions.

Setting off! After work, I went home, showered, changed clothes, and took a taxi to Mo Chit, which cost me almost 400 baht, including the expressway toll.

The bus tickets booked through Thaiticket can be used to board the bus directly after printing. Today, Mo Chit is not as busy as usual, but there are still people using the service.

From the bus station, it is actually possible to walk to the hotel, which is about a kilometer away. However, the hotel arranged a pick-up service for us today. Upon arrival at the hotel, we took some time to freshen up and change clothes.

After waking up, we went downstairs for breakfast. Today's menu was a fried egg dish. The breakfast menu alternates between rice noodles and fried eggs. Breakfast is included in the room rate.

The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the hotel. In addition to the 2 menus above,

Coffee, Ovaltine, orange juice, bread, and deep-fried dough sticks are available.

With full bellies, let's head out for some sightseeing.

The hotel offers bicycle rentals for 50 baht per day or motorbike rentals for 250 baht per day.

I choose to cycle around because the attractions are not too far apart, and it's a good way to exercise at the same time.

The first place I visited was the TAT Nakhon Phanom office to gather more tourist information.

If you have ample time, consider visiting nearby provinces such as Sakon Nakhon and Mukdahan.

After paying respects at the temple, we stopped by the 9. Indochina Market to browse the goods. Today, we saw many Lao people driving by to buy things.

Across from the Indochina Market is the Khong River Cruise Pier, operated by the Nakhon Phanom Municipality, with a fare of only 50 baht.

Before boarding the boat, I bought 10 baht of toasted bread and 25 baht of coconut ice cream to enjoy on the way.

The boat journey takes approximately one hour, with a guide providing commentary on the sights and greeting local residents along the Mekong River.

After finishing the boat trip, we prepared to walk the walking street. However, there were very few vendors today.

After returning to the hotel, I showered, changed, and packed my belongings. As I was leaving, the hotel owner told me that he would take me to visit Uncle Ho's house. I was eager to go.

Uncle Ho's house is not that far away, about 3 kilometers by bike. However, due to the rain, the plan was canceled.

After that, we stopped for lunch at P. Ped's Noodle Shop, also known as Esso Noodle Shop.

This restaurant also has a branch in Bangkok, located in the Chinakhet 2 area.

The restaurant in Nakhon Phanom is located opposite Lotus Nakhon Phanom. Enter the alley and ask the locals. Everyone should know it because the restaurant is quite popular.
