Let's go on a trip to Kanchanaburi.
Greetings everyone, I have some free time again.
I have been on many trips and will gradually review them.
This time I went to Sangkhla Buri, Kanchanaburi. I traveled from December 30, 2015 to January 3, 2016.
Note: This trip does not include a private car.

The Journey Begins: A Trip to Sangkhlaburi
The journey began in Bangkok, where I boarded a shared van from the Victory Monument. The fare to Kanchanaburi was 130 baht, and the vans departed frequently. The trip took approximately three hours, and upon arrival at the Kanchanaburi bus terminal, I opted for a bus to Sangkhlaburi. The bus fare was also 130 baht, while a shared van would have cost around 200 baht.
The bus journey was estimated to take five hours. However, the unexpected happened: the bus broke down halfway to Sangkhlaburi, about thirty minutes before reaching our destination. This forced me to hitchhike for the first time during this trip.
Finally arriving in Sangkhlaburi, I checked into my pre-booked accommodation for the night. I then explored the local market, where I found a diverse selection of delicious and affordable food. A must-try dish was the Burmese "Mohinga," a popular local delicacy.
December 31, 2015
On the last day of the year, I traveled to Chumphon Viewpoint, where the accommodation was free. I was able to set up my tent and sleep there. Today, I had the opportunity to visit Salawin Waterfall, which is about 20 kilometers from Sangkhla Buri town.

Happy New Year! Today, we will visit the flooded temples by boat. We have rented a boat for 500 baht to visit 3 temples. There are different prices depending on the number of temples. The temples we will visit are accessible by boat from both the Mon and Burmese sides. The boat ride takes about 1 hour, depending on the number of temples visited.
After disembarking from the boat, we continued to Takhian Thong Waterfall, which is approximately 50 kilometers from Sangkhla Buri town. The waterfall is located deep within the forest and requires a long trek to reach. The water cascades down the mountainside, creating a refreshing and cool environment. The entrance fee to the waterfall is approximately 20 baht per person.

(Note: The original date format was "2/01/59", which is ambiguous. I have assumed that the intended format is "month/day/year", and have translated it accordingly.)
We traveled to Khao Chang Puak, which is several kilometers from Sangkhla Buri town. We took a yellow songthaew from Thong Pha Phum Market to the park. The fare was 70 baht per person.
On the night of the 2nd, I hitched a ride up to sleep on the Chang Suek Hill. The sky was beautiful, and the atmosphere was great.

We descended to the park and hailed a car down as usual. The park entrance fee and tent rental cost 70 baht per person. The park offered stunning views, including a clear view of Khao Chang Phuak. The atmosphere was pleasant, as always. This was the final day of our trip.
To conclude, here are some photos from this trip. The weather was great in the morning. Don't forget to visit!
