A Relaxing Getaway to Koh Chang: A Review of AWA Resort

During the recent long weekend, I embarked on a trip to a nearby destination – Koh Chang, Trat Province. For this trip, I opted for a luxurious stay at AWA Resort, seeking a comfortable and relaxing experience. Let's delve into the ambiance and highlights of this resort.

Traveling to Koh Chang is a breeze. You can either drive your own car or take a van from the Victory Monument for 320 baht, which will drop you off at the Ao Thammachat Pier. If you bring your car, don't worry, you can take it on the ferry to the island. AWA Resort is located on Klong Prao Beach and boasts a minimalist design with a white and blue color scheme, which I personally adore.

Atmosphere in front of the accommodation

The lobby's entrance has a high ceiling, making it appear spacious. The white decor further enhances the sense of openness.

Let's take a look at the bedrooms. Just seeing the beds makes me want to jump in and sleep.

The bedroom is very spacious.

A spacious balcony, perfect for enjoying the view and indulging in snacks.

"The spoon" is used for customers to eat breakfast here. The white theme is still maintained.

The next morning, the atmosphere at the accommodation was serene. Here are some wide-angle shots:

The beach has sun loungers for relaxing sunbathing. However, as I have very fair skin, I'll have to pass on that. 555

I really enjoy the morning light, it's perfect for taking photos.

Can I have a picture of myself?

After taking photos, we were hungry and decided to have lunch. The breakfast buffet was typical, with bread, salad, rice porridge, noodles, and more. Come and try it yourself!

"I didn't take many pictures of the food because I didn't want to bother the other guests. What I liked was the coffee, especially the fact that they gave you separate milk to pour yourself."

After breakfast, we went for a walk and took photos by the beach.

The sky suddenly darkened, so I had to take shelter before the rain started.

"The Sala" is a restaurant here where you can enjoy dinner while watching the sunset in the evening. It's incredibly romantic.

[Spoiler] Click to reveal hidden text I don't know about the taste because I was eating barbecue outside the accommodation. Hehe. But I can confirm that the atmosphere is really good.

The evening atmosphere at AWA Resort.

I would like to preface by stating that I have no vested interest in the accommodation. I simply found it aesthetically pleasing and enjoyed taking photographs of it, which I wanted to share with my friends. If you appreciate it, please like and share it to encourage me to continue writing. Until next time, farewell.
