Looking for a beautiful and stylish raft with all the amenities? If so, this way…

At 'The Float House River Kwai Resort', not only are the rooms beautiful, but the food is also delicious. Most importantly, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. After reading this review, invite your friends, partner, or family to stay.

Transportation

This trip was done by private car. There are two routes from Bangkok: Pin Klao Bridge - Phutthamonthon - Nakhon Chai Si - Nakhon Pathom - Ban Pong - Kanchanaburi - Sai Yok and Bang Yai - Bang Len - Kamphaeng Saen - Phanom Thuan - Kanchanaburi - Sai Yok. It takes about 3 hours to reach the 'Resotel Pier'.

Guests are requested to park their vehicles at the designated location and take a long-tail boat to the resort (GPS coordinates for the pier: N 14.281035, E 99.000796). This service is complimentary. However, for arrivals after 6:00 PM, a boat rental fee of 1,000 THB per trip will apply.

We're on our way to The Float House.

Oops, I can feel the goodness.

This was a completely mindless check-in. My mind was floating around the ceiling, chairs, and lamps. It was so cool, so Balinese. My friend and I, who have both been to Bali before, agreed that "this is more Balinese than Bali itself."

All villas at The Float House River Kwai are priced the same. The room rate includes breakfast and is 4,750 baht/night. The room rate includes breakfast and dinner and is 5,650 baht/night. The room rate includes all three meals and is 6,550 baht/night. You can book packages that include activities such as bamboo rafting and elephant riding through the resort's website >> https://www.thefloathouseriverkwai.com/th/ The price may be a bit higher than other places, but I guarantee it's worth it.

The room here is fully equipped with everything you need. TV, DVD player, water heater, air conditioner, wifi, a balcony with chairs and a swing. When I opened the room, I was like a crazy person, screaming and screaming because I loved it so much. Oh, you can tell the hotel if you want a single or double bed so they can arrange it for you.

This is the cleanest and most durable raft we've ever been on.

Private bathroom with a hairdryer (Personal preference: places with hairdryers are 3 levels more lovable)

The highlight is here, it's on the balcony.

Excited and exhausted from taking photos, we sat down to wait for lunch to be served. The dining room was just as beautiful as the rooms, and we loved how the colorful pillows looked against the wooden furniture without being overwhelming.

The meals here are served as set menus for lunch and dinner, while breakfast is a buffet. However, for two people, the portions seem a bit excessive. Haha!

With a view like this, I don't want the rice to run out. I want to sit and eat for a long time. :D

After lunch, we went back to our rooms to relax for a while before heading out for our bamboo rafting adventure. The rafting activity lasted about 40 minutes, during which we were guided by staff along the Mae Klong River before returning to our accommodation. Some of us opted to ride the raft one way and swim back, with life jackets provided for safety. Here's a glimpse of our bamboo raft experience.

We are ready, let's go! P.S. When you wear a hat like this, I feel like I'm in Vietnam lol.

It's incredibly relaxing and amazing! There are 13 buffaloes on Kwai Beach, according to our guide. The owner of the resort initially purchased a few from a slaughterhouse, and they have since reproduced. The local rafts are available at various times. The overall atmosphere is stunning and peaceful. You must experience it for yourself to understand. Here are just a few photos...

After rafting, we went back to our room to stretch our legs and use the Wi-Fi. We were still full from lunch, but it was already time for dinner. The dinner menu included seafood tom yum, pork panang curry, glass noodle salad, and fried fish. Everything was delicious, especially the fish. During our stay, two guests were celebrating their birthdays. The staff turned off the lights, sang Happy Birthday, and surprised them with a fruit platter with candles. I love these kinds of moments, they're so sweet. As for the person in the picture, that's my friend. You decide if they're cute or not. :p

It was another night of the most comfortable sleep, with no mosquitoes or insects to bother me. There was air conditioning and a soft bed. Because I slept so well, I woke up early and wasn't groggy. I'm ready to eat breakfast and continue my activities!

Salad with cereal, friends can also order fried eggs or scrambled eggs.

The morning sun shines, revealing a multitude of fish. (Are these the same ones your friend ate yesterday?)

It takes less than 10 minutes to reach the entrance of Tham Lawa Cave. The entrance fee is 100 baht for Thai citizens and 300 baht for foreigners. Today, we were lucky to have a friendly guide with us. He mentioned that visitors can climb up on their own, but they should be careful as the cave is quite dark and has many stalactites and stalagmites.

Alright, I'm going in now.

The Lawa Cave has a total of 6 chambers, each with its own unique characteristics. Let's start with the first chamber, the Phra Chamber. This chamber was built for auspiciousness and to commemorate the discoverer of the cave.

Next is the bat cave. As the name suggests, this room is home to a large number of bats. Please watch your head and keep your voice down as you walk through, as you don't want to startle the bats.

In addition to the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, the bat cave also has another interesting feature. If you look closely, you will see that this area resembles the Death Railway at the Krasae Cave. Take a closer look at the jagged rocks on the left, which represent the railway tracks. The light-colored rocks in the background represent the cliff face, and the dark area represents the river.

The third room is called the Crocodile Room. It is named after the large, crocodile-shaped stone hanging from the ceiling in the center of the room.

The next room is the hall. This room is the largest.

And then we arrived at the last room, the Curtain Room. It is the most beautiful room in Tham Lawa Cave. It may look ordinary in pictures, but in reality, it is very beautiful. The two rocks in the picture look like curtains, but they are very large. I estimate that they are about 2 meters high. Most importantly, the color is beautiful, like ivory. If you want to see it, you have to come and see it for yourself.

After exploring all the rooms, we returned to our accommodation. Two days and one night have passed in a flash. Why does good life pass by so quickly? T__T If you haven't stayed here yet, you must arrange it. It's a perfect combination of nature and comfort. I will definitely come back if I have money.
