Hello, I have been on many trips, but this is my first time writing a review. I apologize if I am not very good at it. I love to travel so much. Even when I am not traveling, I watch travel reviews. Watching them makes me want to go, and once I go, I can't get enough. 55555 So I decided to travel once a month. This trip was a short 2-day, 1-night trip. I couldn't decide where to go, and my boyfriend's mother requested a waterfall, so I chose a nearby province with both sea and waterfalls, Chanthaburi. After researching and booking accommodation, we went on a trip from September 18-19, 2016.

We embarked on our journey by private car from Chonburi directly to Chanthaburi city to pay respects at the City Pillar Shrine for good luck.

And the court of King Taksin.

After paying respects at the sacred site, they went to take photos at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, popularly known as the

"The Church of Christ in Chanthaburi" is the only Roman Catholic church in Mueang Chanthaburi district.

After taking photos for a while, I couldn't stand the sun anymore. It was really hot, so I had to walk back. It's a pity that I didn't get to take photos of everything. Leaving the city center of Chanthaburi, we headed to Makham to check into our accommodation. For this trip, we chose to stay at Baan Suan Phrueksa Homestay.

There are many homestays in the Thung Phlu community, and most of them are priced similarly. You can choose the one you like. We stayed at Lamtharn Lek, which is suitable for families with children. It's priced per person at 800 baht, including dinner and breakfast. Upon arrival, the accommodation prepared fruits and butterfly pea water for us.

Sipping a cool butterfly pea flower drink while listening to the refreshing sound of a waterfall is truly delightful.

Our room for tonight.

Let's go explore the waterfall! The owner said that it rained heavily last night, so the water is not very clear today. The water is strong and very cold.

After a refreshing swim, a delicious dinner was served at the pavilion in the evening. The meal consisted of traditional Thai dishes, including stir-fried vegetables with shrimp, steamed fish with chili paste, and tom yum soup with chicken. Guests could enjoy a variety of beverages, including ice water, and relax by the waterfall.

The rain started in the evening and continued until almost midnight on the night of our stay. We were tired, hot, and exhausted from our journey, so we fell asleep to the sound of the rain and the waterfall. The next morning, the water was very cloudy and strong due to the heavy rain.

Let's have breakfast together. The breakfast menu includes bread, coffee, Ovaltine, fruit, and pork and shrimp rice porridge.

Relaxing and enjoying a meal by the waterfall, feeling incredibly happy.

After breakfast, we checked out of our accommodation. As the Wat Khao Banchop was nearby, we decided to pay a quick visit before heading back.

Besides the beautiful pavilion, the temple also has a bridge and a tree gate for taking pictures. Let's take a look around.

Leaving Khao Banjob Temple, we head to Oasis Sea World. Let's go see the adorable and intelligent dolphins!

Oasis Sea World is located in Pak Nam Laem Sing District. It is a breeding and show center for two species of Thai dolphins: the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin (pink dolphin) and the Irrawaddy dolphin.

The show schedule is as follows:

  • 9:00-10:00, 11:00-12:00, 13:00-14:00, 15:00-16:00, 17:00-18:00

Additional sessions will be available on Saturdays and Sundays from 07:00 to 08:00. Admission is 130 baht per person, and 80 baht for children over 90 cm tall.

As a child, I frequently visited this location to observe dolphins. This visit brought back memories of my youth, and I was once again captivated by the dolphins' charm. I was completely engrossed in the show from beginning to end. After the dolphin show, we drove to our final destination, a road renowned for its scenic beauty in the eastern region.

A must-visit check-in spot for capturing the perfect photo, "Noen Nang Phaya Viewpoint" is a landmark destination in Chanthaburi.

This concludes our short 2-day, 1-night trip. How was it? The photos may not be that great, but if you want to see the beauty for yourself, you have to go see it with your own eyes. That's all for this review. Thank you for stopping by.
