Lost to Chaiyaphum

Hello everyone, I have some free time again.

I have been on many trips and will gradually review them.

This time, I went to Chaiyaphum to see the blooming Siam tulips: I traveled there on September 4, 2016.

Note: This trip does not include a private car.

The first day of my journey, I traveled by bus from the Mo Chit bus terminal. There are many bus companies to choose from, but I opted for the one that dropped me off at Ban Rai intersection. The journey took approximately four hours.

At the Ban Rai intersection, there was a problem. He had to go to the park, which was 6-7 kilometers away, which was very far.

A motorcycle taxi entered the park, causing approximately 100 baht in damage.

Fortunately, a kind local resident offered me a ride to the park.

I have arrived at the park. There is no entrance fee here. Or maybe there is, but I'm not sure. I didn't pay an entrance fee when I entered. There is a camping ground, clean restrooms, and not many people. Or maybe it's because I went on a weekday. Haha.

For food, you can choose to eat at the Sawasdee Shop or restaurants near the park.

The next morning, a park vehicle will take you to admire the scenic views of the cliffs and the fields of ginger lilies.

  • The earliest bus departs around 5:00 AM, depending on the number of passengers.

*Unlimited rides for 60 baht.

We have arrived at the top of the mountain. The air is very good, but the sky is a bit cloudy.

Despite waking up early, I was disappointed to find that it was not worth it.

The above text describes a location with multiple viewpoints for taking pictures. It is recommended to visit in the morning when there is a chance of fog. However, a staff member mentioned that fog is not always present, so it is a matter of luck.

May I stop by the Stone Mountain?

I'll stop here for now. I'm exhausted. XD

The next morning, I decided to travel to Traithong Park. I had heard that there were more Amorphophallus paeoniifolius flowers there than here.

Oh no, how am I going to get there?

* You can take a bus that passes through Ban Rai Intersection 3 and get off near the park.

  • Upon entering, there is a motorcycle taxi stand, as usual.

Arrived at Thung Thong National Park.

We can choose to sleep below or above (above is on the cliff where we will watch the sunrise).

The park has a shuttle service that takes visitors to the top for 60 baht.

The park has a waterfall called Sai Thong at its base. The water is relatively cool, but not very clear. If it were clearer, it would be much more inviting for swimming.

The next morning, I traveled to the cliffs. There were many cliffs and fields of siam tulips to choose from. The first field was beautiful and had a lot of flowers.

That's all for now. See you on our next trip! Let's try traveling together.
