We vehemently disagree with the notion that the sea's beauty is exclusive to the summer season.
This trip of ours was 3 days and 2 nights as usual.
Visiting Koh Chang, admiring the beautiful sea, playing in waterfalls, and staying in beautiful accommodations with a pleasant atmosphere all contribute to a significantly more stunning sunset.
This time we had a great opportunity to stay at AWA RESORT KOHCHANG. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, where you can soak up the sea and take stunning photos from every angle, we highly recommend this place. It's also perfect for a romantic trip with your partner, a fun outing with friends, or a memorable family vacation. Psst, the weather is amazing between November and February, with beautiful crystal-clear waters. It's the ideal time to visit! #AWA RESORT KOHCHANG #ThingsILoveToForget
Let's get started without further delay!
Oh, almost forgot! We have many more places to visit together. Please follow our page, "สิ่งมีชีวิตที่ชอบลืม" (The Forgetful Man), for updates. ^^ https://www.facebook.com/theforgetfulman/
We left Bangkok with the intention of leaving at 6 am, but then we were an hour late. Haha, we drove relaxed again. But we couldn't relax too much because we had to catch the boat to Koh Chang in time for the noon round.
Natural Bay Ferry Pier: We arrived just in time, the ferry was docking. This was also the first time we had driven a car onto a ferry, and we were excited as we had never done it before.
The view from the boat is already stunning, even before reaching the island.
The atmosphere on the boat was...
The beautiful light, a 45-minute boat ride, may seem long, but the time flies by as you enjoy the scenery, and before you know it, you've arrived at the island.
AWA Resort Koh Chang
After a boat ride to Koh Chang, we drove to our hotel, which had an impressive entrance. The hotel's design is minimalist and airy, with a focus on white, blue, and gray tones, perfect for a seaside getaway. From this angle, you can see through to the hotel's private beach.
The Lobby: Capturing its Beauty
This sentence describes the lobby of a hotel, praising its beauty and the abundance of photogenic angles.
Here's the translation:
The Lobby: It's customary to draw a little. This is the lobby. The hotel is so beautiful that it's hard to choose which angle to draw from. Every corner is stunning, offering countless opportunities for amazing photos.
The welcome drink here is chrysanthemum tea. Check in and enjoy a refreshing chrysanthemum tea.
The hotel's use of floral-patterned louvers as a recurring motif throughout its design is a particularly noteworthy feature. This visually appealing element adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the overall aesthetic.
The entrance is very open.
I appreciate the subtle oriental details in the door design.
The hotel's design incorporates a chic, Eastern-inspired aesthetic.
The lobby's waiting area is truly photogenic. If you enjoy taking pictures, this is the place to be. You'll have plenty of stunning photos to share with your friends.
I'd like another gimmicky one like this.
The beautiful light from above that allows light to pass through makes it even more airy and comfortable.
The Teas: This section also sells pastries, right next to the lobby. I couldn't resist, so I drew another picture. Haha!
In the hotel, Chinese-style chairs were also used.
Let's move on to the accommodation area. The swimming pool is amazing and very long.
Another angle
We will continue at our room later ^^ Today, we arrived at our deluxe beachfront room. It is decorated in white tones, making it look comfortable and spacious. Most importantly, it is so big that we can run around freely. Seeing the bed, I just want to jump on it right away. The bathroom is just as impressive as the bedroom, and it is equally spacious. But the most important thing is the view, which is simply magnificent.
Beautiful angles, beautiful lamps.
Isn't it adorable?
Desk corner
The bathroom allows you to soak in the bathtub while enjoying the sea view.
Fully equipped, just bring yourself and clothes, and you're good to go.
The bathroom chair also has details.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Let's take a picture of the equipment, including the bananas.
The resort provided us with delicious banana egg. When visiting Koh Chang, be sure to try banana egg! The staff here are all very friendly.
The highlight of our room is the breathtaking view.
The view from the room offers a stunning sunset.
Unable to resist the breathtaking view from our room, we decided to take a quick stroll down to the beach before heading to the spa. We couldn't help but capture a few photos by the pool along the way.
Breakfast will be served in the dining room.
Another corner of the dining room.
The sea has arrived! The sky is so clear, it's perfect for a stay here.
Sunbathing here is so relaxing. The building on the right is our accommodation. As I said, it's super close to the beach.
The Spa: Time to Relax
After a four-hour drive, it was time to unwind at the spa. We opted for a Thai oil massage to soothe our tired muscles. This section focuses on the exterior of the traditional Thai massage area.
Let's take a look inside the room. I'm waiting for a massage.
Beautiful lamps
This angle is also good.
After the massage, ginger tea is served.
After the massage, we took a walk and took photos while waiting for the sunset.
偷拍餐厅
Order a coconut and wait for the sunset.
"Relax and read a book, it's great."
It also has swings, and if the tide is low, we can walk on the beach below.
The beautiful sea is right in front of the hotel. It's a pity that the water was high when we went, so we couldn't walk along the beach.
The sun is setting, and the light is beautiful, like silk. Actually, I'm starting to get hungry.
It has fallen.
Picturesque corners of the hotel
This corner is perfect for relaxing by the beach and watching the sunset. It's the ultimate way to unwind and de-stress.
After watching the sunset, let's have dinner. There is a lot of food!
From our dining table, the hotel at night offers a different kind of beauty.
Our chef today boasts that the seafood here is incredibly fresh, as if it were just caught from the sea. Highly recommended.
There is a wide variety of food available, including this fruit salad.
There is also bread.
Abundant fruits, excellent.
I ordered a blended apple drink during happy hour, which was buy one get one free.
Let's take a look at our dinner. Today, the chef has kindly prepared a very delicious and visually appealing meal for us.
After a hearty meal yesterday, we decided to take a morning stroll before indulging in breakfast.

The interior atmosphere is white and navy blue, creating a relaxing and spacious feel.
A glimpse into the atmosphere

This section features a chef who prepares eggs to order. Guests can request their preferred style of eggs, with the sunny-side-up option being particularly recommended.
There are also "Khanom Krok".
Indecisive as we were, we ended up eating a lot, but it's all gone! Let's get some energy, haha! Before heading to the waterfall, as recommended by the resort staff. Thank you!
Khlong Phlu Waterfall
A Short Hike After a Hearty Meal
After a satisfying meal, it's time to burn off some energy. A short 5-minute drive from the pier brings you to a hiking trail leading to a waterfall. The 500-meter path is easy and comfortable, offering a refreshing escape into nature. Lush greenery provides ample shade, making the hike enjoyable even on a warm day. The entrance fee is a mere 40 baht, making this a budget-friendly activity.
Lush greenery along the way.
I encountered a turtle, but I'm not sure if it's a turtle or a terrapin. Haha, can you tell the difference? >_<
The water teems with fish, showcasing its remarkable abundance.
Beautiful wildflowers.
We have arrived at Khlong Phlu Waterfall. Most of the people we encountered were foreigners playing in the water. The water is crystal clear and highly recommended for swimming. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes.
Let's walk the tightrope to the waterfall and play.
The island of Koh Chang boasts stunning colors and the enchanting Emerald Pool.

After playing in the water, we stopped by a scenic viewpoint for a bit. It's a short drive from the resort. The resort staff told us that the sunset here is beautiful, but we think the view from the resort is even better.
At the viewpoint, we will find a red mailbox.

Sea view from the viewpoint
Bang Baea Fishing Village: A Perfect Spot for Diving, But We Came for Food Instead!
While the village is renowned for its excellent diving opportunities, we opted for a delicious meal instead. Our stomachs were rumbling, and the prospect of a satisfying feast proved too tempting to resist!
There are many shops along the way.
Ruen Thai Seafood: This restaurant is located by the river and serves delicious food. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is located on the right-hand side after a short walk from the entrance.
We ordered a whole sea bass, which is a great option here. The best part is that you can choose two dishes to accompany the fish.
We ordered the stir-fried grouper with dried chilies, which was delicious but way too much for us to finish. Haha!
The Tom Yum was incredibly rich and flavorful. We devoured it completely.
The atmosphere inside the shop
Eating while enjoying the view, the food is gone without realizing it.
After finishing our meal, we continued walking to the area near the fish market.
Beachfront house
Adorable things along the way
This adorable creature crossed our path, completely white. The cat didn't even bat an eye.
The cat is secretly watching the fish. Don't blame the cat, even people like us want to eat it. Hehe.
Pleasant atmosphere on Koh Chang
The River: After returning from the fishing village, we went swimming. We had our eyes on this spot since the first day, haha. Before swimming, I wanted to draw the angle of the pool and the poolside bar. I love this angle the most.
The water is so beautiful, it's a deep blue.
Let's play together.
Alternatively, you can sunbathe.
This place is teeming with families of foreigners. We had a wonderful time playing with a father-son duo from abroad.

The sky is beautifully colored.
The sun sets at this angle. We took this photo from our hotel room. The hotel costs a thousand baht, but the view is worth a million. It's totally worth it.
After yesterday's strenuous exertion, we awoke today to a sky like this. We wish we could wake up to this every day.

Our breakfast today was as heavy as ever. We are about to pack our bags and go home. I don't want to go back.
A delightful omelet and a satisfying stay
The omelet was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast here. This trip has been incredibly worthwhile, allowing me to fully recharge. If you prefer white-toned accommodations by the sea with a relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend this place!
While waiting for check-out, I took a couple more pictures of the lobby.
Elegant candlesticks in the lobby
On the way back, we boarded the boat at the natural bay as usual.
We're back! Farewell, Koh Chang. This was another fantastic trip. The sea is stunning, the water is crystal clear, there are many activities to do, the food is delicious, and the accommodations are excellent.
