Hello... Lately, we think everyone wants to climb the mountain and face the cold wind!! How many people are longing for and missing the sea, besides us and you who clicked to read this review? You may not be as longing as we are, but believe me, at least you are interested in the sea, so you clicked to read. Going to the sea during this time is not bad, you know... Traveling against the current is good... We think so because besides not having to compete for food, compete for travel like competing to buy sale items, you also get to see beautiful nature, free from trampling by you, you, you, and others.
Let's start our journey to the Dragon Islands, a hidden gem in the Andaman Sea. This review will take you through our unforgettable experience, leaving you yearning for more. Before we dive in, let me clarify that this trip was partially sponsored. Love Andaman provided the day trip, while Phet Ranong@Town and Mango Kitchen hosted us for accommodation and dinner, respectively. We only covered the travel expenses to and from Ranong. Now, let's embark on this adventure to the Dragon Islands, where the underwater world will captivate your heart.
As the departure time approached, we boarded the bus. Once everyone was on board, the bus departed. (This is common knowledge, so there is no need to state it.) Passengers were free to spend their time as they wished, whether it was visiting the Emerald Buddha, watching a movie, or listening to music. The journey continued... and continued... until we reached the Thap Sakae rest stop in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Here, passengers could exchange their tickets for a complimentary meal. The rest stop even had luxurious Chinese round tables for dining. Please note that passengers had to wait for everyone at their table to arrive before they could begin eating. Those who arrived later were served snacks instead. I don't have any pictures of the crispy fish because I was feeling a bit disoriented and confused after waking up. My brain wasn't functioning properly. I simply walked in to take a look and then went to the restroom. Afterward, we boarded the bus again to visit the Emerald Buddha. I wouldn't want him to feel lonely. 55555++
As the car entered Ranong province, the rain started to fall... and it fell heavily. Oh no! Why does it always rain when we go to the sea? Why does it have to rain? We couldn't even sleep. We had been praying to the rain god all the way, but he didn't seem to care. He didn't give us a clear sky to admire the beauty of the Dragon Islands. Sigh... We kept hoping all the way, but there was no sign of it stopping. Until the car turned into the Ranong transport station, the rain started to subside, but the sky was still full of clouds. We felt a little better. Maybe the sun will be shining later... We were just being optimistic...
After relaxing, strolling around, taking photos, and doing other activities, around 7:00 AM, the Love Andaman van arrived to pick us up and take us to the lighthouse pier. There, there are restrooms where you can brush your teeth, wash your face, or even take a shower and change your clothes. Feel free to do whatever makes you comfortable. Oh, and you can also leave your luggage here.

Once everyone is on board, the boat will depart. After sailing for a while, it will stop at Koh Song, a Burmese island. You don't need to do anything; you can either wait on the boat or go up to the pier to take pictures. It won't take long, and if everything goes smoothly and there are no unexpected issues, and everyone on the border pass has a valid identity, the Burmese immigration will allow the boat to continue its journey.
The journey from Ko Surin to the Dragon Islands is relatively long, taking approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on sea conditions. The experience is comparable to traveling to the Similan Islands or Koh Tachai. Upon arrival at the Dragon Islands, the love boat will first drop you off at the Dragon's Nest to leave your belongings. Within 10 minutes, the boat will take you to the first dive site, Tomato Point. Before reaching the dive site, the beautiful guide will provide details about the area's highlights, interesting fish species, and stunning coral formations.
The Thrill of the Dive
The moment the boat stops, divers eagerly jump in, knowing that every second spent underwater is pure gain. No need for further explanation, let the pictures speak for themselves.
Alright then.
The fun wasn't over yet. Our beautiful guide shouted that time was up and we needed to board the boat. We then returned to the Dragon's Nest for lunch. The Dragon's Nest has a small sandy beach where you can walk and swim in the sea. After lunch, you can walk hand-in-hand along the beach, making ants and termites jealous, or pose for photos that you think are beautiful. Or you can walk into the sea and let the seawater wash away the saltiness. Do whatever makes you happy!
Only the rice cabinet... is worthy of us 55555++
Seafood!!!...It's here! Even if you're not a blogger or media personality, you can still enjoy the same menu!
After finishing a meal, indulge in a variety of sweet treats, including milk and butter. Let's give a big round of applause to Love Andaman for their generous food offerings. They truly go above and beyond, whether you're traveling independently or reviewing their services. Every trip is an unforgettable culinary experience.
Sitting by the sea, taking a break to let the food settle.
The story of the crabs... Oh! Or is it the clams...
Play if you are confident...
Beautiful.
A beautiful PR girl that we love.
After lunch, it was time to move on. We were very disappointed when the guide told us that we would only be snorkeling at one spot today. We had brought our full gear, hoping to get our fill of snorkeling, but... oh well, we can try again tomorrow. Then the boat took us to Dragon Island, also known as Lord Heaven Island. The highlight of this island is its long, white beach. They say it's like Koh Tachai, but honestly, after seeing it in person, I don't think it can compare to Koh Tachai in Thailand. The sand isn't as white, and there's some red and black sand mixed in.
Models we secretly admire...
The island's center features a narrow plain, offering a scenic walk to the opposite side, where a short beach and stunningly shaped rock formations await. Notably, we encountered enormous coconut crabs along the way!
The rock was... incredibly delicious. As for the man, without him, the trip would lack music. No matter where we went, he would always play the ukulele and sing for us...
Due to the short sandy beach, we quickly returned to the original shore and gathered all our energy and concentration to focus on taking pictures, as the beach on Dragon Island is incredibly beautiful.
White... isn't it, Dragon Island?
Personally, I find the sight of waves crashing against the sandy shore to be captivating, especially when they surge high and spray. It's a mesmerizing beauty that draws me in. It's not about being "indie" or "artsy"; I simply adore it!
Don't think we only photograph girls, we photograph men too!
More beautiful than Dragon Island...it's you!! So confident!!
Who are you?!... Wherever you go, you only take pictures of your own toes. 55555++
The beautiful tour guide...who we thought was stunning...was incredibly kind and took excellent care of us.
It was time to bid farewell to the Dragon Islands (we'll be back tomorrow 55555++). Then we went to the Sleeping Dragon viewpoint, which required a short hike. Since we were coming back tomorrow, we decided to skip it and wait until then. However, to our great disappointment and regret, the next day, the group decided not to go... I cried a lot. From the Sleeping Dragon viewpoint, we took a long boat ride back to the mainland. We stopped at Koh Song to submit our border crossing documents and returned to the lighthouse pier, where we had to show our ID cards again. The officers checked our faces to make sure they were the same as when we left. If they were, we were good to go.
For dinner tonight, we were kindly hosted by Krua Mango. Let's take a look at what they have to offer. Don't ask me about the names of the dishes, though. I'm more of a traveler than a foodie, so I can't remember them all...
How about this delicious food? Let me tell you that every menu is delicious. As a traveler, I ate until my stomach was full. This is even though I'm not a big eater. 55555++ If you want to come and eat here and want to know where the shop is, we can tell you. Then we can come and eat delicious food together.

It's normal for your eyelids to droop when your stomach is full. Throughout this 3-day, 2-night trip, we were kindly provided with accommodation by Phet Ranong@Town. This hotel offers rooms starting from only 890 baht per night (excluding breakfast). Let me tell you, the rooms are hugeeeeee! A room for two can easily accommodate ten people. For more information, click https://web.facebook.com/petchranong/ Now, let's continue our trip. As usual, Love Andaman picked us up in the morning and took us to the pier. After passing through immigration, the boat departed and stopped at Koh Song for immigration checks. Then, we headed to the Moken Islands. For lunch, we ate at the same place as yesterday. We didn't visit any other islands, but we did a lot of snorkeling, which was at a different location than yesterday. More importantly, it was much more beautiful than yesterday. I'm so glad we decided to stay another day. Let's see which islands we visited.
The first stop was the High Garden coral reef, as usual. Before reaching the diving spot, the beautiful female guide, who was different from yesterday's, gave a briefing on the history and background of the diving spot, the most abundant fish species, the types and colors of coral, and so on. As soon as the boat stopped, the guide invited us to listen to her long explanation. However, we preferred to explore on our own. And boom! The sight that greeted us was beyond description.
While I was enjoying watching the fish, suddenly, a mermaid swam past my face. I caught it and ate it without hesitation. It was so delicious!
In reality, we took a lot of pictures, and every snorkeling spot was stunning. We couldn't stop clicking the shutter. It's a shame that the TG-4 camera's color and sharpness aren't as good as other models. But what can we do? We're on a tight budget, so we have to be frugal! Hahaha.
After completing this dive point, we went for lunch. After lunch, we continued diving at the second point, Ao Sin Khit (Secret Point). The name "Ao Sin Khit" (meaning "Bay of No Thought") might suggest a lack of inspiration underwater, but the reality is quite the opposite. The underwater scenery is just as stunning as the other dive points. Instead of singing its praises, let's just dive in and see for ourselves!
Hey, hey! What's this little mermaid doing here? I'll eat her liver right now...
What a stroke of luck! I finally found this place. I've only seen it on TV before, but it's even more beautiful in person!
After leaving Ao Sin Khit, we continued to the Morgan's house. However, we were unable to dock the boat, so we could only observe it from afar. Unfortunately, we did not bring a telephoto lens, so we were unable to capture any images for you. We will try again next time. After a brief stop to photograph the Morgan's house, the boat returned to shore. For dinner, we were kindly hosted by Kieng Le Restaurant in Ranong Province. You're curious about the menu, aren't you? As usual, we can't recall the names, so we'll just describe their appearance. That's all for now.
Nestled in the Ranong province, "Kieng Lay" restaurant boasts breathtaking daily sunsets thanks to its beachfront location. The restaurant even features a bridge extending into the sea, offering stunning views and photo opportunities for its patrons. The signature dish, the steamed mantis crab, is a must-try. Don't miss out on this delicacy – the large, freshly steamed crabs with succulent meat dipped in seafood sauce are an absolute delight. Alternatively, savor the naturally sweet and delicious crab meat on its own.
"Side by side, eating, traveling, in the same place."
A romantic restaurant with a view of the Thai-Burmese border.
Indulge in thrilling adventures and experience the exhilaration of canopy ziplining.
Test your courage with a jump from a tower over 200 meters high, followed by a stay at a private beachfront resort.

After reading the review, I'm hungry and want to eat. I suggest going to the refrigerator and finding something to eat. However, if your refrigerator is empty, I can't help you. It's up to you. After eating, go back to bed. We'll sleep at Phet Ranong@Town again tonight. The trip isn't over yet. There's one more day left. If we post it in the same review, I'm sure you'll curse us. So, we'll separate it into another review. As for where to eat and visit in Ranong, stay tuned. Thank you to everyone who scrolled through the pictures or read every word. We appreciate you taking the time to read our review. If there are any mistakes, we apologize. If you have any suggestions, we are happy to hear them and will improve them in the next review.
You are welcome.
