Koop? The first time I heard the name of this cliff...hey...where is it? I don't know. It was a semi-average sharing trip of the Chill Hiking Page, which was a trip that was booked a long time ago, around April 2016. Until the day we went to conquer Khop Cliff, October 28, 2016, it was six months. It also coincided with the day of taking a photo in a gown for use in the university transcript. In the afternoon, I took a photo in a gown with my friends. In the evening, I took a bus to Bangkok with that outfit... (We're going to shake our gowns...one show)

Due to the fact that our trip members are located the farthest, we have requested to postpone the departure time to 11:00 PM. We arrived on time, all members were present, and the wheels started rolling immediately. This trip consisted of a total of 10 people. We arrived at Khao Soi Dao Tai District around 4:00 AM and parked the car to rest at Wat Tung Phel. Around 5:00 AM, we drove to the market to buy various items and have breakfast.

Around seven or eight o'clock, we traveled to the Thung Pela Forest Protection Unit to meet the officials and porters we had arranged to meet. We prepared to hike to conquer Pha Hin Goob. On the day we inquired, there were 23 tourists climbing, and our group was the largest at 555. Some members of our group arrived early and reserved sleeping space at the rock shelter.

A Humorous Encounter at the Stream

While returning from our hike, we stopped by a stream to freshen up. After taking photos and washing our hands and faces, we continued on our way. However, not far from the stream, a leech unexpectedly landed on the back of my hand. Startled, I screamed loudly, echoing through the forest. Unable to remove it myself, I frantically shook my hand and continued screaming. Finally, one of the park rangers accompanying us removed the leech.

The humorous part of the incident was the park ranger's reaction. He rushed towards me with a knife in hand, asking what was wrong. In a shaky voice, I replied, "There was a leech on my hand." Thinking back, it's both funny and embarrassing. I screamed as if I had encountered a large animal!

We have finally reached our destination, the Conqueror's Sign. Wait, that's not right! We have arrived at our accommodation after a grueling journey. We climbed tree roots, scaled rocks, crawled through caves, and crossed streams. We did it all, including battling through the jungle (and leeches). After resting to catch our breath, we noticed ominous rain clouds gathering in the distance. Soon, heavy rain began to fall, accompanied by strong winds and cold temperatures. In this weather, all we can think about is a warm bed.

The rain had just stopped. Looking down at the forest in front, we saw patches of mist floating above the trees, resembling the forest's breath. The atmosphere was cool and comfortable, even a bit chilly. We had hoped to catch the sunset, but in the end, we only saw the light; the sun itself remained hidden.

To conclude the night, we present a photograph from our hiking member... Brother Somchai's "Image of stars on the ground at the southern Soi Dao Mountain".

Good morning! The sun is hiding behind the clouds today. This morning, we will be guided by staff to the Koob Rock. We will have to climb trees and rocks, using ropes provided, to reach the Koob Rock, which has a curved shape resembling an elephant's back.

It's time to shake off the dust and put the camera down for a moment. Guys, could you please take a picture of me? I'm usually the one taking pictures, but now that I'm being photographed, I feel a little shy and awkward. But for the sake of a beautiful picture, I'll put on a brave face. Haha.

Thank you for the beautiful pictures from Arm, a photographer from Thana Photographer. You can find his page here: https://www.facebook.com/photographer.Thana/?ref=hl. The two pictures he took are stunning and capture the atmosphere perfectly.

After a tiring day of shaking off the graduation gown, let's take some relaxing photos.

After descending from the Koob Stone, we prepared to pack our bags and return home.

These last two photos conclude the trip with my fellow travelers.

Thank you to all trip members, all hiking friends. "Chill Hiking Page" for the memories. Where should we go next trip?
