Day 1: Plane - Uber - Bus - Red Car

Day 2: Red Truck Adventure

Day 3: Arcade Van - Shared Taxi - Motorcycle Taxi

• Day 4 • Songthaew - Songthaew

• Day 5 • Walking street trip - Rent a motorbike

• Day 6 • Motorcycle-Van-Motorcycle

• Day 7 • Motorcycle - Red car - Airplane

Note 1: Flight tickets, van to Mae Hong Son/Pai, One Day Trip to Ang Khang

(I researched and booked in advance because I was afraid the car would be full. During the winter, there are a lot of tourists, and I don't want to waste time waiting. I also don't want to vomit. Booking a seat next to the driver is the best!)

Note 2: For transportation, I have researched both songthaews and motorbike rentals. I will decide which option to use once I arrive at the destination.

Note 3: Accommodation for each day was pre-booked, both by phone and through the Booking.com app.

(I'm worried that there won't be any accommodation left. Since we're taking a break, let's relax in comfort, shall we?)

Note 4: J will summarize the daily expenses at the end of each day's post.

(Note: Friends, please calculate only the travel expenses. Food and accommodation expenses can be adjusted according to your budget.)

  • Minivan to Mae Hong Son

053-304748, 053-244737 (Reservations can only be made 3 days in advance)

  • I chose to book through the website. At first, I called 053-492999 ext. 100, and the officer informed me that I could only book 3 days in advance. However, I wanted to book half a month in advance, so I filled out the information on the website instead. http://premprachatransports.com/ticket-th/ An officer will then contact me back.

The next day, the officer called us back. We were able to choose our seats, and the officer assigned Jane a seat next to the driver for both the outbound and return trips. This was great! Jane booked the first flight because she wanted to arrive in Mae Hong Son by noon. Luckily, she saw a sea of fog on the way. This was something she discovered on her own; the officer didn't mention it.

You can check the bus schedule at this link: http://premprachatransports.com/routes-th/

  • The condition is that you must pay for the van ticket 3 hours before departure, otherwise the ticket will be forfeited.

Payment can be made at 7-Eleven stores or other designated locations. Please inquire with staff for details.

Jae informed the officer that he would pay at the Arcade later, as he had already planned a trip to Chiang Mai on December 13-14 before heading to Mae Hong Son on December 15.

**Mae Hong Son Bus Terminal** ----> To reach Pang Ung, board the bus at **Talat Sai Yood Market***

/ BTS ----> Talat Sai Yai, find information about Win, about 30 baht (actually got 30 baht, if tuk-tuk 60 baht)

Mae Hong Son (Sai Ngam Market) --> Pang Ung (Travel time: approximately 1 hour, 80 baht per person)

- Two-way shared taxis operate twice daily, departing from Sai Yood at 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

- Return trips are available twice daily, departing from Pang Ung at 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM, and arriving at Sai Yot.

**Additional information from P'Jing, the songthaew driver, while sitting in the front seat on the way to Pang Ung: This road is a dead end and there is not much traffic. It is not a main road. (After going there, it is true.) If we take a songthaew, we should not expect to stop and visit places along the way, such as the Su Tong Pae Bridge or the Pang Tong Palace.**

Songthaew Mae Hong Son ----> Pai (3 hours, 100 baht per person) Depart from the Bus Terminal.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

This is a rough outline. We can adjust it based on the actual situation.
