Recently, many friends have been traveling north to experience the cold weather and search for the sea of mist. However, I don't have much time to travel during this period. I can only stay on the island surrounded by the sea, but I still want to experience the feeling of climbing a mountain. While reading reviews, I came across the term "Khao Khai Nui," a sea of mist in southern Thailand and a new tourist destination in Phang Nga province. Phang Nga is known for its stunning marine tourism, but this time, with only a weekend to spare, one of my main goals was to witness the breathtaking sea of mist atop Khao Khai Nui in Ban Fang Tha, Tung Maphrao Subdistrict, Thai Mueang District, Phang Nga Province. It's time to embark on an adventure and experience it for myself.

Around 13:00, we departed from Phuket and drove straight to Khao Lak. Our destination was Ban Fai Tha in Thung Maphrao subdistrict. To reach Khai Nui peak, a four-wheel drive vehicle is required. If you are unfamiliar with the route, it is recommended to book a transfer service through your accommodation. The road leading up to the peak is a gravel path.

Upon arriving at Ban Fai Tha Village, we searched for the house where we would park our car and then took a ride with the accommodation's vehicle up the mountain. This time, we had already booked our accommodation, "Baan Nai Maok Khao Khainui," through Mr. Bang Lek, who can be reached at 089-5931432.

We have arrived at "Khai Nui Mountain". The weather up here is fantastic! Khai Nui Mountain boasts five wonders: 1. Sunrise, 2. Sunset, 3. Sea of Mist, 4. Andaman Sea, and 5. Mountain Ranges.

**

After settling into our accommodation, we had time to explore the mountain and watch the sunset over the Andaman Sea.

First, let's take a look at "Baan Nai Maok" (House in the Mist) on Khao Khainui. This accommodation offers a variety of options, including houses and tents with bedding. Additionally, they provide barbecue equipment, making it a perfect spot for group gatherings and enjoying a delicious meal under the stars.

After collecting our belongings, we took a stroll to the other side, where we could see the vast expanse of the Andaman Sea stretching out before us.

After that, he walked out to explore his plump testicles. There are many accommodations to choose from, and you can contact the owner directly.

This place also has blooming sunflowers.

Personally, I find the eastern view to be particularly captivating. The rolling hills extend as far as the eye can see, creating a visually soothing panorama.

Campers who have booked a tent at Baan Nai Maok will set up their tents in this area, which is the original campsite. They will be facing east, allowing them to enjoy the morning mist.

We slept in the new house tonight, which was just finished when we arrived.

Dinner is prepared in advance from downstairs, or if you come in a group, you can have a barbecue.

As the sun sets, casting its final rays, the artificial lights begin to illuminate the landscape. Looking westward, one can observe the twinkling lights of fishing boats dotting the horizon.

The night has come, and it's time to say goodnight. We will wait and see if there will be a sea of fog in the morning. Whether it will be a thick fog or a light mist depends on our luck.

Waking up at 5:30 AM to catch the mist. We are waiting for the mist at the viewpoint, but for now, we can still enjoy the stars.

The sun has risen and the fog has begun to roll in. However, today there is a noticeable breeze, which suggests that the fog will not be as dense as usual. Nevertheless, it will still be beautiful in its own way.

Everyone watched with bated breath.

Many people who came to see the sea of mist like us, so we changed our location to the original sign of this place, which is the camping point of the house in the mist.

Everything is beautiful in its own way. Today, the soft sunlight casts a golden glow, it's truly beautiful.

Although the fog today did not appear as a sea of mist, it was still nice to see a little bit of it. It was beautiful in its own way.

It was time to go. We said goodbye to the chubby egg and promised to see him again soon. Then we got back on the same car and headed down.

"Seeing the road now, it's a good thing we didn't consider driving ourselves."

Upon reaching the ground floor, we noticed a bustling restaurant and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a khanom chin eatery, a popular breakfast option in Phang Nga and Phuket. We decided to indulge in the local khanom chin before continuing our journey.

This restaurant offers an abundance of fresh and pickled vegetables, catering to even the most enthusiastic vegetable lovers. Indulge in a delightful culinary experience with a wide variety of options to satisfy your cravings.

This restaurant also offers fish maw curry for you to add to your liking at the table. If you prefer a spicier flavor, feel free to add more.

After a satisfying meal, Bang Lek suggested visiting the Sra Nang Manora Waterfall in Phang Nga. We agreed to stop by the waterfall before heading back to refresh ourselves.

The journey takes about half an hour by car and is located near Phang Nga town.

** Feeling refreshed and cool. **

We then embarked on a nature exploration, following a designated nature trail.

During this period, the water level is low. If you come during the rainy season, it will be much more beautiful. There are many waterfalls here, and the scenery changes as you walk further in.

It's time to go back. We've had a great time and breathed in the fresh air. Now it's time to get back to work.

Thank you for following the review.
