Driven by a desire to explore and experience solo travel, I embarked on a trip to Khao Yai, a popular tourist destination renowned for its diverse attractions. Choosing Pannaburi as my accommodation, a place often referred to as "Little Pai," I set out on my adventure. My journey began from Saraburi on a Saturday morning, August 20, 2016. Opting for the convenience of my own car, I anticipated spontaneous stops along the way, embracing the freedom to explore without time constraints. Starting my exploration through the Dairy Home route, I encountered a plethora of attractions. The first stop that caught my attention was The Birder's Lodge, a charming establishment that serves as a café, restaurant, and accommodation. Constructed from wood, its aesthetic appeal was undeniable. The highlight of this location was a large house completely covered in lush vines, extending to the roof, creating a captivating spectacle.

I love it so much, so let me take a picture of myself for a bit.

Another picture, haha.

I arrived early in the morning, when there were few visitors, allowing me to capture a variety of perspectives. Let's take a look at the coffee shop and restaurant from various angles. I focused on capturing the ambiance of both the interior and exterior spaces.

I ordered a cup of coffee today. The taste is quite good for coffee lovers.

After spending some time here, people started to arrive gradually. So, I decided to move on to the next beautiful and interesting place, which is my accommodation for tonight, Panburi Resort Khao Yai. Perhaps it's because of the close proximity to nature that this place has another name, Little Pai.

The accommodation offers a variety of styles. I personally chose the Jungle style house, specifically house number 4, which is located next to a canal. The price was 500 baht, which I consider good value. The prices of the accommodation here vary depending on the style and the time of stay. It happened that I went during the rainy season, so the price was around this amount.

The house I'm staying in has a balcony or patio that extends from the front of the house. Sitting here, I can see a view of the river and the opposite bank, which creates a very pleasant atmosphere.

The surrounding area of the accommodation features small bridges and weirs where guests can relax and soak in the water. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

Going around in circles.

Upon arriving at my accommodation, I took a drive around the area and stumbled upon a sunflower field. What a stroke of luck! The entrance fee was only 20 baht, which goes towards the upkeep of the field.

As big as my face. 555++

The field is vast and accessible by car. Currently, there are few visitors, making it feel like a private haven.

After admiring the sunflower fields, we quickly freshened up and changed clothes, then found a spot to capture the evening atmosphere of Pannaburi.

In the evening, you will experience a different atmosphere.

The communal area also features seating for enjoying evening meals or engaging in friendly conversations with friends and loved ones.

My significant other? No, it's my cat. I don't know when it entered the frame, even though I set the camera to take the picture automatically. The cat still managed to get in the picture. I'm really confused.

After taking in the surrounding atmosphere, I prepared to go to sleep. I'm sure I'll sleep like a log tonight.

After a good night's sleep, I woke up to the fresh morning air and quickly got ready to embark on an adventure in Khao Yai National Park. Please note that my room has a shared bathroom and does not include breakfast. If you prefer a private bathroom, there are other options available. Be sure to research and choose the best option for your needs.

We have started driving up Khao Yai. Along the way, there are warning signs saying "Beware of wild elephants" and pictures asking not to feed the animals. As good tourists, we should follow the rules of the place. As I drive up, I come across meadows on low, green mountains. There are parking areas for tourists to take pictures and admire the beauty.

I stopped to take pictures along the way, wherever I found something beautiful, and also at the parking areas.

The area also features a swamp that serves as a water source for various small animals.

Seeing the vast expanse, I too feel the urge to leap.

After driving for a while, we arrived at **..Haew Narok Waterfall..**. From the parking lot, we had to walk another 1 kilometer. For me, it was an easy walk. However, there was a steep section just before the waterfall, only 100 meters long but very challenging. I was a bit hesitant, but there were handrails for tourists.

Upon reaching the bottom, we were met with the sheer grandeur of the waterfall.

The waterfall is truly massive.

Having fully enjoyed the beauty, it is now time to prepare for our return journey.

This is the Red Bridge, which tourists must cross to reach the Haew Narok Waterfall.

And so, it's time to return to the real world and resume the working mode. When my energy is almost depleted, traveling is the best medicine (besides family and loved ones) to heal and reawaken my inner strength to face everything that lies ahead. I hope that my travels will help ignite your physical strength to shine brightly and be ready to face what awaits you. Fighting!!
