"Life is a journey."
After a tiring week of work, a relaxing weekend getaway is well-deserved.
The challenge this time is to find a stunning location with pleasant weather and plenty of attractions, all accessible within a two-day round trip.
Glancing at each other, the gang members reached a decision: "Let's go to Kanchanaburi."
This trip will take you to pay respects at Wat Tham Sua, admire the giant rain tree, and relax at Anantara.
Embark on a scenic raft journey across the serene waters of the Srinakarin Dam. Prepare yourselves for an unforgettable adventure as we embark on our journey together.
The journey began at dawn, commencing with prayers for good fortune.
Drive into Tha Muang District at the intersection before reaching Mueang District, at "Wat Tha Suea, Kanchanaburi Province".
Pass the clock tower, turn left onto the irrigation canal road, and turn right at the three-way intersection for about 5 minutes.
And with a slight turn to the left, we arrive at the first destination of our journey.
Wat Tha Saeng is an ancient temple in Kanchanaburi, renowned for its exquisite Buddha statues and the magnificent Phra Chedi Kesa Kaew Prasat.
Perched atop a lofty hill, the temple commands a breathtaking vista of golden rice paddies stretching as far as the eye can see.
Standing at the foot of the lush, green mountain, the wind blows strong, bringing a refreshing coolness to both body and mind. It is truly a wonderful experience.
Pay homage to "Luang Pho Chin Pradanporn," the largest Buddha statue in the "posture of bestowing blessings" in the province.
From afar, it is already beautiful, but when you get closer, it is even more captivating. The whole structure is mesmerizing.
After paying respects at the temple, we continued driving to see the giant rain tree, which is over 100 years old, 10 people wide, and 20 meters tall.
Located within the Royal Thai Army Veterinary Department, the museum is open to the public free of charge from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This has become a popular stopover spot recently, so much so that it's almost a must-visit.
They continued to capture images, experimenting with different cameras and lenses, gazing upwards until their necks were stiff.
The fallen leaves are abundant, commensurate with the size of the tree.
Chicken (Why would I tell you... -_-)
Enduring faith and belief have been an integral part of Thai culture for centuries.
After a morning of sightseeing, it was time to check into our accommodation, the main destination of our trip.
"Anantara Riverside Hills Resort," a renowned resort situated along the serene shores of the Srinakarin Dam.
Let's see if it lives up to its reputation.
Accommodation here is in the form of floating houses on the water, accommodating from 2 people per house to several dozen.
Perfect for a romantic getaway or a fun gathering with friends, this property boasts a spacious balcony overlooking the water, ideal for socializing and enjoying the scenic views.
Situated on individual platforms, the villas offer a perfect balance of privacy without feeling isolated.
The view from the balcony overlooks the amusement park rides. Admission is free, so come and enjoy unlimited rides!
The resort has everything you need.
A view like this, air like this, you can sit and chill all day without getting bored.
Jet skis are available for rent, but there is a fee for this activity.
If you prefer a slower pace, kayaks are available for a leisurely paddle while admiring the beauty of the water.
Abundant water rides are available, ensuring an enjoyable experience.
The path to the playground equipment appears simple, but it is not. Many people have fallen. To pass this challenge, you must run at full speed.
Embark on a captivating bamboo raft adventure, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of the surrounding waters. As you gently glide along, witness the breathtaking spectacle of the setting sun, casting a warm glow upon the tranquil landscape. This unforgettable experience will leave you feeling utterly rejuvenated and in awe of nature's splendor.
The weather is beautiful today, the sky is clear, and the view is stunning. The cool breeze is refreshing, so I came out for a walk to enjoy the atmosphere.
The sun began to sink lower with each passing moment.
The air is fresh, with a cool breeze blowing constantly. Before me lies a body of water where the sun is setting behind the mountains.
This image evokes a sense of tranquility and reveals the restorative power of nature.
Is that an exaggeration? 555+
The final rays of daylight.
In the evening, there is no need to go far. You can eat at Krua Anantara. The taste and ingredients may be ordinary.
The atmosphere here deserves a perfect score. The fun is multiplied by a hundred when you come with your gang.
The morning here is shrouded in a light mist, and the air is pleasantly cool. A warm cup of coffee is the perfect way to start the day.
Watching the sunrise. It would be nice if I could see this view every morning.
It's time to go home.
Thank you to all Blue Planet friends who have followed and read to this line.
Until next time on my travel adventures.
