Hello, everyone!

Today, I'm going to introduce you to a beautiful tourist spot along the banks of the Chao Phraya River in our capital city.

This place can be described in three words: "Beautiful, affordable, and amazing!"

Ta-da! It's a "1-Day Trip on the Chao Phraya Express Boat".

This is becoming increasingly popular among foreign tourists.

As locals, we can't miss out on this opportunity. So, get your life jackets on and let's board the boat!

To get there by BTS, get off at Saphan Taksin Station, Exit 2.

Walk down the stairs, turn right, and continue straight ahead. Look for the Chao Phraya Express Boat pier sign on your left.

Don't wait any longer! Let's rush to buy tickets. :)

There are two types of tickets: unlimited travel tickets and single-trip tickets.

Unlimited travel tickets allow you to ride all day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM for 150 baht per day.

Single-trip tickets cost 40 baht per ride and can be purchased at each pier.

If you plan to visit multiple locations throughout the day, the unlimited travel ticket is more cost-effective.

However, if you only intend to visit a few specific locations, purchasing single-trip tickets at each pier is more economical.

I opted for the unlimited travel ticket for its convenience. Once purchased, I could simply show it to the staff whenever I wanted to board or disembark.

Moreover, the unlimited travel ticket allowed me to disembark at almost every pier, eliminating the need to queue for new tickets at each stop.

Alright, tickets purchased. Let's take a look at the piers and our planned route.

There are 10 piers in total. Currently, we are at Sathorn. Let's choose the Phra Athit route first.

Boats arrive at the pier every 15 minutes. The Chao Phraya Express Boat is easily identifiable by the "blue flag" displayed on every boat and at the pier. Don't board the wrong boat! :)

The interior of the ship is spacious due to its large size.

We are ready to go. Let's start our journey!

The first pier we will board is N1 Oriental Pier.

We will only visit places that are not far from the pier.

Assumption Cathedral: It is not far from the pier, about a 5-minute walk.

Today there is a wedding, so we cannot go inside to see the beauty (sad).

The bride is about to throw the bouquet, I almost want to rush in to catch it.

An old building, not sure what it's called, but it's classically beautiful. :)

Personally, I really like this place. It may seem like there's nothing here, but there's a certain beauty to it.

One more picture, please.

Let's move on to the next pier.

We chose to get off at the pier " Wat Arun".

It is said that if you have the opportunity to pay respects to the Buddha at "Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan", your life will be prosperous every night and day.

"Phra Phuttha Thammamithra Ratcha Lokadhatu Dilok", the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall.

From Wat Arun Pier, you can take a boat to visit four other temples.

First, take a ferry to ' Tha Tien Pier' to walk to Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram (Wat Pho).

The ferry fare is 4 baht/trip, round trip is 8 baht.

The Four Reigns Pagoda is located behind.

"The Image of the Buddha", the principal Buddha statue in the ordination hall.

Next, take a boat from Wat Arun to "Wat Kalyanamit Varamahavihara" and "Wat Rakang Kositaram Waramahavihara".

Tickets can be purchased at the pier near Wat Arun for 30 baht, and the boat will take you to both temples.

Wat Kalyanamit Varamahavihara: Renowned for granting wishes for safe travels and fostering good friendships.

Offerings include three incense sticks, a pair of red candles, and a garland of flowers for good luck.

**"Phra Phutthathrai Ratana Nayok"**, also known as **"Sam Po Kong"** by the Chinese and **"Phra To"** or **"Luang Pho To"** by the Thai.

After paying respects to the principal Buddha image, we boarded a boat and continued to the "Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Maha Simaram Ratchawaramahawihan".

It is said (again) that if one comes to pay respects here, one will become famous and well-liked.

Wait a minute, don't leave yet.

The banks of the Chao Phraya River are not just home to temples, there are also many beautiful and chic places to visit.

Let's continue our boat trip. This time we will get off at N13: The Sun.

At first, I was confused about where to go. So I decided to walk around first.

On the way from the pier to the main road (not far), you will find souvenir shops for tourists.

At the end of the road, turn left and walk straight ahead. You will find "Santi Chaiprakan Park".

The atmosphere is quite shady and cool. I saw some foreigners sleeping comfortably.

Nearby, there is also the "Phra Sumeru Fort".

A Stroll Through Bangkok's Past: Exploring the Museum of Bangkok

After a refreshing break at the park, enjoying delicious drinks, our eyelids began to droop, signaling the need to continue our journey. A short walk led us to another captivating destination: the Museum of Bangkok.

The interior is peaceful and beautiful, as depicted in the story. The staff warmly welcomed us.

Admission is free. The second floor closes at 4:00 PM. (We missed it.)

The video delves into the rich history of Thailand, showcasing various city gates and ancient landmarks. The captivating visuals bring these historical sites to life.

Exhibition in Honor of Her Majesty the Queen on the Auspicious Occasion of Her 82nd Birthday

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the exhibition. Time flies by.

The sun is setting slowly. What should we do? There are still two more places to visit.

Okay, this time we will take a boat back to Sathorn Pier. And we will get off the boat at " Tha Maharaj" Pier.

This is a trendy location where many students come to take graduation photos.

The last stop today, we have to hurry to get on the boat before 6:00 PM, otherwise the boat will be full and we won't be able to go.

That is "Asiatique The Riverfront". When we arrived, it was already dark. The lights were beautifully lit.

Note: For the boat back to Sathorn Pier, there will be a free boat service, probably until around 11:00 PM.

This place offers a delightful dining experience with a charming ambiance, cool breeze, soothing music, and beautiful lighting. It's perfect for a romantic dinner.

The Ferris wheel is a must-see highlight, offering stunning views.

Looking up close for so long, our necks are sore.

The trip has come to an end. Everything was perfect, with beautiful locations and wonderful companions.

Time was spent in the most meaningful way, with both spiritual fulfillment through charitable acts and joyful exploration.

It was truly heartwarming. (Do you feel the same way?)

Thank you all for joining us on this boat trip.

See you on the next trip! :)
