Welcome back to another journey with TungPang Life Is A Journey. Today, we will continue our exploration of the charm of "Phatthalung" following our previous review of "Pakpra". We will experience the tranquility and beauty of Wetland Camp, indulge in delicious food at Bang Cham, and discover another captivating corner of Phatthalung. Don't get tired yet! We want everyone to visit Phatthalung and witness the natural beauty that TungPang has seen. Experience the rice fields, breathe in the fresh air, and explore the new "Pa Phai Suang Suk Market". This time, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a free train ride for the first time in 10 years. Before heading back, we couldn't resist stopping by "Kham Coffee" for a caffeine fix.
Before embarking on this trip, I heard that a new market had opened in Phatthalung, similar to the Lad Tai Ngon market. Coincidentally, it was open on the day of my visit. This market, called "Talat Pa Phai Sang Suk," opens every Saturday and had just opened the week before my trip. Upon learning this, I knew I had to visit this new market during my trip.
Traveling through the city of Phatthalung, one can observe the local way of life. Golden and green rice fields, some of which have already been harvested, offer a scenic view. It's a perfect spot to stop and enjoy the cool breeze.
Paying homage to the sacred objects of the city before visiting the Phatthalung City Pillar Shrine.
From any angle at the city pillar shrine, you will see "Khao Ok Talu", the symbol of Phatthalung, in different and beautiful perspectives.
The image evokes the motto of Phatthalung: "Land of shadow puppets, rice paddies, cascading waterfalls, bird sanctuaries, scenic lakes, and Khao Ok Talu with its hot springs." The text also mentions a visit to a revered local landmark, the "Phra Phuttha Nirokantarai Chaiwat Chaturathit Phatthalung" Buddha statue.

He then traveled to Nongyang Market. Driving in Phatthalung during the rice-growing season is something I really enjoy.

The route to Pa Phai Saeng Suk Market can be found on the Phatthalung Today page.
** We have arrived at "Pa Phai Suksaeng Market". Getting here is easy. The market is located in Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung Province. It's only 500 meters from Khuan Khanun Hospital and 17 kilometers from Phatthalung city center. **
The place was packed with visitors, suggesting a positive reception. The food stalls were bustling with customers, and vendors were experiencing brisk sales.
Let's explore the market together. From what I've observed, the products here are mainly from local communities.
Having explored the area, let's head to the food stalls and see what delicious treats await us.
Fresh fruits directly from local farmers, guaranteed pesticide-free.
The bamboo garden offers a relaxing space with seating for guests to enjoy live music or gather for meals.
This is my favorite. I'm willing to wait a long time because it's really fresh.
To conclude, let's enjoy some Phatthalung milk together.
After strolling through the market, my body craved coffee. I headed straight to "Kham Coffee" to sip coffee and admire the rice fields before hopping on the train to my friend's house.
We have arrived at "Khamnam Coffee" cafe. The atmosphere remains the same, with the addition of a rice paddy field. This is not my first time visiting this cafe. You might ask why I always stop by this particular cafe when there are other cafes in Phatthalung. It's because this cafe is different from others. I enjoy the atmosphere of the place. Even though I live in Phuket, I frequent cafes, but most of them are quite similar.

The atmosphere of the restaurant this time feels greener than the previous time.
This is not a relaxation pavilion, but another zone on the side. It's perfect for gossiping without disturbing the people at the next table.
The air-conditioned seating area offers a variety of seating options to suit different preferences.
**Choose a table and order your coffee. This time, the friendly staff recommended a menu item other than coffee.**
An orange cake is served with an iced cappuccino.
At "Kham Coffee" shop, the signature dish is the palm fruit cake. It pairs perfectly with a hot latte.
We arrived at the shop around noon, and our friends were starting to get hungry. We wondered where to go for lunch. Once again, the question arose. However, this time, we discovered that they also served single-dish rice meals. There were two options for fried rice: crab fried rice and mackerel chili paste fried rice.
Fried rice with mackerel chili paste is here. Enjoy it here with a million-dollar view.
This dish is crab fried rice.
After a satisfying meal, we took a leisurely stroll through the shops, exploring the area and searching for the perfect photo spots to capture our stylish moments and share them on social media.
"Kham Coffee" offers a wide variety of seating options.
At this corner, everyone who comes to Khanom Coffee must come to take a picture at this point. Here...Phatthalung When you are full, your body has coffee ready, then it's time to go to the "Phatthalung" train station.
We have arrived at "Phatthalung" railway station.
Let's join the queue to buy tickets. I just found out that to buy free tickets, you only need your ID card. And you've got your ticket.
I got a free train ticket! Come to Phatthalung Railway Station and you'll get a clear view of Khao Ok Talu.
The train has arrived, and the children are very excited. I am just as excited as they are, as it has been 10 years since I last rode a train.
The train is about to depart. It's time to say goodbye to Phatthalung.
This photo was taken from a train window.
Taking a train is like experiencing nature in a different way, as the scenery along the way is filled with natural landscapes and fields.
The small train station remains unchanged, just like when we were children.
The train journey offered a unique perspective, showcasing the beauty in the mundane. The sights evoked childhood memories, bringing a sense of joy. Every journey, even to familiar destinations, presents a new experience, shaped by the passage of time and the ever-changing weather. The scenery, though viewed from different angles, retains its inherent charm, creating a captivating visual narrative.
