" Hello Phang Nga" I brought my friends to Khao Lak

Khao Lak is another famous tourist destination in Phang Nga province. With its beautiful natural scenery, clear blue water,

wide sandy beaches, and lush pine forests, it offers a truly breathtaking experience.

Looking back to December 26, 2004, over 10 years ago,

Khao Lak was one of the areas affected by the tsunami caused by the Indian Ocean earthquake.

However, with time, the town, beaches, and sea have recovered their beauty.

" I would like to invite everyone to visit Thailand, come to the South, our home."

After returning from the dam to our accommodation, my friends and I went for a bike ride to a nearby beach.

The beach is approximately 200 meters from the accommodation and is accessible by bicycle.

Watching the sunset and the waves is a very relaxing experience.

Another accessible beach is Coconut Beach.

If you are traveling during the monsoon season, be aware of jellyfish, including venomous ones, that may appear on the beach.

If you are stung by a jellyfish, and there is no sea purslane or vinegar available to wash the wound, it is recommended to visit a pharmacy as soon as possible for initial first aid. Do not pour fresh water on the wound under any circumstances, as this will spread the venom further. Avoid scratching or rubbing the wound with your fingers.

Note: I was stung myself. The area where I was stung by the jellyfish turned red and formed lines. It was very painful and felt like a hot water burn.

The moment the sun sets, the atmosphere is breathtaking. It's a peaceful beach with few people around.

As darkness fell, we returned to our accommodation to host a small seafood party at Lemongrass Guesthouse & Cafe. We sat and drank at the front of the guesthouse, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. The majority of guests staying there were foreigners.

The night doesn't end here. The next stop is Memories Bar, located at Coral Beach.

The atmosphere in the bar is filled with tourists, mostly foreigners.

A performance featuring fire twirling and live music.

DAY 4: Last Day in Southern Thailand

Before leaving Khao Lak, we had some time to explore before heading to the airport in Krabi.

We started by visiting the Tsunami Memorial, the Ship 813 (Bureas Perdrungkit).

This ship was swept away by the tsunami and deposited kilometers inland, ending up on the hillside where it stands today.

After the disaster, authorities initially planned to recover the ship, but it was decided to leave it as a memorial to the victims.

The next stop is Krabi Province, which is a stopover before boarding the return flight.

Route between Phang Nga and Krabi

The route is winding with many turns.

Arrival at Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara Beach, Krabi

Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara Beach are located within the Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, serving as a central port for island hopping excursions around Krabi. Noppharat Thara Beach, originally known as "Khlong Haeng Beach" by locals, offers stunning natural beauty and a vibrant atmosphere.

The beach area has large trees where you can spread a mat and have a picnic by the beach.

Our journey has come to an end, and it's time to return to Bangkok and resume our daily lives.

Every journey, every gathering, must come to an end, but the memories will never fade.

We will always remember the time we spent here, the smiles we shared, and the joy we experienced.

The owner of Lemongrass Guesthouse &Cafe' was incredibly helpful and made our stay very comfortable.

Lastly, I want to thank my travel companions for taking care of me and capturing all the best moments on camera.

Thank you so much, I truly miss you all.

To the friendships that remain etched in my memory.

We apologize for any errors or mistakes.

THANK YOU
