Four steps of the stairs that Nong Phuping will take you to travel today, where are they? Let's see. This trip of Nong Phuping was arranged by her mother in September 2016, just at the end of the rainy season and the beginning of the cold season.
**Ban Gong Kan Rice Terraces in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province** was the first trip for little Phuping, when she was only 3 weeks old in her mother's womb. Her mother took her on this adventure even though she was still so young.
Ban Kong Kan is located in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province. It is one of the most beautiful rice terraces in Mae Chaem District, located on the same road as Wat Phutthaen. The best time to see the lush green rice paddies is in late September.
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, the mother opted for a car rental service to reach Mae Chaem District. Upon reaching Mae Chaem, they rented motorbikes for local exploration. Conveniently, the rented car could be left at the motorbike rental shop.
**Ban Pa Bong Piang Rice Terraces** are located in Chang Keing Subdistrict, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province, approximately 8 kilometers from Mae Chaem town. This village is home to the Pga K'nyau people and is situated on the way to Ban Pa Bong Piang. Access is best via the Inthanon Wittaya School route, which requires a 4x4 vehicle or motorbike.
This trip marked the first time 3-week-old baby Phuping, still in her mother's womb, experienced a motorbike ride to Baan Tin Pha. Despite the challenging terrain, baby Phuping remained strong and resilient, making the journey an enjoyable one.
This image was taken in late September. It shows lush green rice terraces with mist clinging to the mountain ranges, creating a breathtaking scene. The air is cool and comfortable, a welcome respite from the heat.
The scenery along the way was breathtaking, making it an unforgettable backpacking experience.
Sometimes Mom wants to update her social media, and Nong Phuping doesn't mind. ^_^
**Rice Terraces of Ban Pa Bong Pieng** in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province.
Renowned as the most breathtaking rice terraces in Thailand, this destination has captivated countless travelers with its mesmerizing emerald-hued paddy fields cascading down the hillsides, stretching as far as the eye can see.
Similarly, Nong Phuping's mother eagerly awaited the arrival of September, anticipating the opportunity to witness the vast and breathtaking beauty of the terraced rice fields. It is safe to say that her expectations were exceeded.
Accessing this location requires either a four-wheel drive vehicle or a motorcycle. The recommended route is via Mae Chaem District, Ban Tung Yao, and Inthanon Wittaya School, offering a scenic journey with stunning views.
Baby girl Phuping, at 3 weeks old, has arrived at her home in Pa Bong Piang after a motorcycle ride in her mother's belly.
At Baan Pa Bong Piang, there are several accommodation options available. Most of them are individual houses priced at 500 baht per person. Simple dinner and breakfast are included (but the view is worth a million baht!).
The morning air was filled with a refreshing mist, creating a cool and serene atmosphere. The experience was truly indescribable, offering a sense of rejuvenation and tranquility. It felt like a divine escape, allowing me to cleanse my lungs with pure air and revitalize my spirit. This invigorating experience left me feeling energized and ready to tackle any challenge that lay ahead.
I must go. I must go.
**Ban Pha Mon Staircase Rice Terraces** in Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai, served as the final stop for a trip by a pregnant mother, 3 weeks and a few days along, and her unborn child, Phu Phing.
The highlight of this place is the accommodation called Bamboo Pink House, which offers stunning views of the rice terraces.
Pha Mon Village is located approximately 100 kilometers from Chiang Mai city. From the road to Doi Inthanon, the entrance to Pha Mon Village is about 8 kilometers. During the rainy season, the road is not in good condition and cars cannot enter. However, when I visited in late September, the rainy season had just ended and cars were able to enter.
For those planning to visit the rice terraces this year,
The villagers typically begin their rice planting season between July and October. July marks the start of the planting season, when the rice seedlings are still young. By September, the rice plants have reached their full growth, and some fields may even begin to produce rice panicles, creating a lush green landscape. However, if you wish to witness the golden yellow rice paddies, you must visit during October.
This concludes our trip with Nong Phuping. See you again on our next adventure! Goodbye.
