On the actual day, I bought a train ticket from Chumphon to Bangkok. I booked a lower berth in an air-conditioned sleeper car. The bed was huge!
The air conditioning was nice and cold, so I slept soundly. I wanted to get a good night's sleep so I could have plenty of energy for sightseeing. 555+

Waking up at 5:30 AM, I brushed my teeth and washed my face, choosing to get off at Bang Sue Railway Station due to its proximity to my destination. After checking my phone for a while, I arrived at the station! Carrying my backpack, I walked back towards the train station to find a taxi. I headed straight to Bang Khen, telling the driver to drop me off across from Rab 11 on the left side before reaching Wat Phra Si. With the light morning traffic, I arrived quickly as expected.

This zone is not yet open, so we bought tickets to enter the inner zone to find a fancy breakfast and cool coffee.
