During the summer season, Koh Lipe is a top tourist destination. We, a group of four, decided to embark on a private tour to Koh Lipe this summer. Due to the high season, finding affordable options was challenging. To avoid exceeding our budget, we opted for a private tour package from Andaman Blue Sea Tour. The package cost 5,500 baht per person for a group of four.

The tour includes airport transfers, family room accommodation at Warin Beach Resort, all-inclusive fees, private boat trips, diving at both inner and outer islands, six meals (including one seafood meal), and a private guide. We found this tour at the Thai Travel Fair. I recommend it, but I don't want to sound like I'm advertising. 08/03/60

We traveled on AirAsia flight at 2:00 PM and arrived at 3:30 PM. On the first night, we wanted to explore Hat Yai city to experience the nightlife. From Hat Yai Airport, we took a blue songthaew to the city center for 30 baht per person. You can hail one on the road in front of the airport. We chose to stay at the Pacific Hotel. We got off at the Kim Yong Market stop and walked about 200 meters to the hotel. After checking in, we went out to soak up the Hat Yai nightlife and try the famous "bak kut teh".

Wake up early. The van will pick you up at the Pacific Hotel and head to Pak Bara Pier. The boat departs at 11:30 AM and will stop at Tarutao Island and Khai Island. You will meet your guide at the pier. The boat is a speedboat, so if you are prone to seasickness, be sure to take medication beforehand.

Arriving at Tarutao Island, where the sand is white and the sea is beautiful. We paid our respects at the shrines of the Tarutao Island Lord and King Rama V, praying for a smooth journey. ...

Departing from Tarutao, we headed towards Ko Khai. As the boat's engine died down, we stood up and gazed out at the crystal-clear water. The only word that came to mind was "gratitude." The water was so clear, the sand so fine, and the rock formations so beautiful. The most magical spot on Ko Khai is the "Arch of Eternal Love," which is believed to grant wishes for love to those who pass through it. We couldn't resist the opportunity to pass through it ourselves.

After soaking in the beauty of Koh Kai, we set off for the final destination of the day, "Lipe", which we have been looking forward to. Look at the clear water and beautiful boats…

We have arrived!

"Lipe...."

The Varin Beach Resort looked different from the reviews I had seen, as the hotel was undergoing renovations. Upon arrival, we had lunch included in our tour package. We were able to order any dish we wanted from the à la carte menu. I opted for a simple seafood stir-fry with a fried egg. To my surprise, the food was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend it.

After a satisfying meal, take a leisurely stroll to digest while immersing yourself in the scenic beauty. As the sun begins its descent, witness a breathtaking sunset.

The sun has dipped below the horizon, bidding us farewell until tomorrow morning.

Tonight, the place you shouldn't miss is Walking Street. Let's call it a walking street in Thai.

Our dinner is at "Raksae Lay" restaurant. Tonight's menu features local southern Thai cuisine instead of seafood. (Included in the tour package)

Walking Street is not as lively as it used to be, with music playing at a moderate volume. Visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of seafood restaurants, diving equipment shops, bars, and spas. The crowd is a mix of Thai and foreign tourists. Restaurants typically allow customers to choose their own seafood, which can then be grilled, roasted, steamed, or boiled, with the restaurant adding its own unique flavors.

The tour program advertised enticed us to visit the booth and make a purchase. Today's breakfast was complimentary and self-service at the hotel. The menu offered a wide variety of options, including fish maw soup, fried eggs (a personal favorite), omelets, tuna salad, fried rice, stir-fried noodles, rice with curry, toast, pancakes, fresh coffee, cornflakes, orange juice, watermelon, and pineapple. The flavors were exceptional, eliminating the need for additional seasoning. The southern chef's culinary skills left a lasting impression.

True to the saying "An army marches on its stomach," we had arranged with the guide to meet at 8:30 am, with the boat departing at 9:00 am. The morning was dedicated to diving in the outer zone, while the afternoon would see us return to the inner zone. Boarding the boat, we set off towards our destination, soaking in the atmosphere of the Andaman Sea along the way.

Point 1: "Khao Hin Sorn" - Nature's Marvel

Dive Site 2: "Keaw Kai Phae" - Your First Dive Experience

The second spot was incredibly enjoyable, lasting almost an hour. I particularly appreciated the guide's flexibility with our time. There were no set time constraints for our stay on the island, allowing us complete freedom to explore at our own pace. Additionally, the guide went above and beyond by taking us to picturesque locations for photo opportunities. Kudos to them for their exceptional service.

Point 3: "The Cave of Bats" - This point was particularly impressive.

Let's take a look at some underwater images...

What is it? So cute!

This is a tiger conch. At first glance, I thought it was a scallop. 5555+

Sea anemone.

Follow the purple one.

This is a truly unforgettable spot. If you have the chance, be sure to visit Dong Island.

Point 4: "Ror Kloi" (รอ-กลอย)

This spot boasts stunningly clear turquoise waters, revealing the intricate details of the underwater rocks. The water is so pure, you might be tempted to bring some home for your daily hydration! This location is perfect for a relaxing swim and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings.

Point 5: "Khao Rawee"

Enjoy a relaxing lunch break at this spot, where you'll be served boxed meals (included in your tour package). Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by fine white sand, crystal-clear water, and a cool breeze. Venture into the forest and discover a stream flowing from the waterfall, offering a truly rejuvenating experience.

After lunch, we took a break to breathe in the fresh air from the beautiful waves. Our guide then led us into the forest to experience the lush greenery and play in the freshwater to refresh our bodies...

Refreshing! This helps a lot with seasickness and motion sickness. Highly recommended.

Point 6: "Koh Ka Yang"

This site is known for its stunning display of lettuce coral.

Let's admire the underwater scenery, the lettuce coral.

This encounter introduced us to another starfish species, the "feather star." At first glance, we mistook it for a fern.

Nature truly creates wonders.

Point 7 "The Magnificent Hornbill"

Exquisitely beautiful, stunningly gorgeous .... incredibly beautiful, brothers and sisters. Hehe

Please heed the warning signs: "Do not stack rocks." In the past, stacked rocks were not returned to their original positions. When the water or wind hit, the stacked rocks would fall and break. Ultimately, the rocks would break, and the beauty of the rocks would diminish. Let's work together to conserve nature. If we don't conserve it now, there won't be any beautiful rocks left for us to see.

The Eighth and Final Dive Site of Today's Program: "Rorng Nam Ja Pang"

Where We Will Encounter the Seven-Colored Coral (Seven-Colored Gem)

After arriving at the hotel around 5 pm, we took some time to relax and unwind before meeting our guide for dinner at 7 pm. The dinner was another culinary delight, with each dish boasting exceptional flavors. The highlight for me was the delicious dipping sauce, a testament to the culinary skills of the southern region. Our menu included stir-fried squid with black pepper, tom yum soup with prawns, grilled crab, grilled squid, grilled pomfret, stir-fried vegetables, and a refreshing fruit platter of watermelon and pineapple.

After finishing our meal, we took our usual post-meal stroll. Before returning to our hotel, we indulged in the famous local teh tarik and roti canai. It wouldn't be a true Koh Lipe experience without trying these delicacies. The queue was long, but the wait was definitely worth it.

Those who are interested in enjoying the seaside atmosphere at a bar can rest assured that there are many options available. Choose the atmosphere of the bar that you like. However, for us, just walking around and taking in the atmosphere in front of our accommodation is good for the heart. Tonight, sleep well and dream sweet dreams.

Departure day from Koh Lipe.... Free breakfast at the hotel, the same food as before, we had the same energy boost. The boat left at 9 am, we took a speedboat back to Pak Bara Pier. Before leaving, we took some general photos to capture the memories. Ready, set, jump!

Farewell, "Lipe"

Returning to Pak Bara by boat around noon, don't forget the souvenirs that you can't find in other provinces, namely "Buah Ngah Pu Da", a local dessert.

(The van will take you to the airport for free, as per the tour package.) Thank you to our kind guide (Khwan) for this trip... She never disagreed with anything the customers wanted... She was very accommodating and gave us a lot of freedom. Thank you for your service....

We arrived in Hat Yai city around 2 pm. Our flight back to Bangkok was at 10:30 pm, so we decided to explore Hat Yai. We had a voucher for a cheap car rental from the Thai Travel Fair, so we decided to use it today. We had two destinations in mind: the Kim Yong Market and the Hat Yai Municipal Park. We picked up the car at 2:30 pm and headed straight for lunch.

It's great to have a car because everyone's luggage is... light, weighing at least 10 kg. 55555555+

"An army marches on its stomach," I thought to myself as I asked the van driver for recommendations on local southern cuisine on my way to the airport. He suggested this restaurant, "Neen Khum Thong," which is conveniently located on the way from the airport to Hat Yai city.

And here is the food we ordered. Thank you for the recommendation. We loved it! The flavors were delicious… We admire your cooking skills once again!

We were so hungry that we could walk on our stomachs. After we were full, we headed to our first destination, which was "Kim Yong Market".

We arrived at "New Kim Yong Market".

We circled around looking for a parking spot for two rounds. Luckily, we found one right in front of the market entrance.

I won't describe the products, you have to go see for yourself. Hehe.

After an enjoyable shopping spree, it was almost 4 pm. We rushed to the park, fearing that the ticket booth would close soon. Fortunately, we made it just in time to purchase tickets for the cable car.

Our second destination: "Khao Khad Large Municipal Park"

Cross to the other side and pay respects to the four-faced Brahma.

Disembarking from the cable car, we descended to pay respects at the Phra Phutthamongkol Maharaj Buddha statue.

Afterwards, we sat down to enjoy the view of Hat Yai city while waiting for the sunset to bid farewell to the horizon. This marked the end of our visit to Hat Yai for the day.

Thank you to the creators of this wonderful atmosphere in the city center. Thank you, Hat Yai, for allowing us to relax and capture beautiful images. Thank you very much. Before leaving today, if you haven't tried the fried chicken, you haven't truly experienced Hat Yai. Let's end this trip with a picture of Hat Yai fried chicken, which lives up to its name. See you again on our next trip.

Farewell, Hat Yai.
