Celebrating a belated birthday with friends led me to discover a unique nightlife spot in Bangkok. This retro-themed venue, reminiscent of a bygone era, offers a nostalgic experience unlike anything I've encountered in the city.

Bang Khen House... a vintage-style tourist attraction that replicates various historical locations. It is located in the Bang Khen district, opposite Rab 11, and is open 24 hours a day.

From the main road, this place might look like a simple restaurant with limited parking. This is because the front area is designed as a vintage-style food court, offering a relaxed dining experience. However, to purchase food, you'll need to exchange cash for a card.

For those who do not wish to eat, you can enter the museum. Starting with a small museum of King Rama IX called "Baan Por Luang", inside there are many important items related to His Majesty, beautifully displayed, making us remember His Majesty even more.

Next, visit the Coca-Cola Museum, which houses a vast collection of vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia. Admission is approximately 30 baht per person, but entry is free for those who choose not to enter.

As you walk inside, you will find a recreation of old-fashioned shops, showcasing everyday items from the past, some familiar and some not. You can explore a pharmacy, a school with wooden desks and chairs, and an electronics store with vintage telephones, televisions, and antique clocks.

An antique radio, isn't it?

Does this old clock still work?

Continuing on, we came across a spacious plaza where a vintage car stood proudly, offering everyone the opportunity to capture stunning photographs.

Across the street, there were many restaurants and dessert shops bustling with people, so we decided to take a look.

This establishment offers a diverse selection of savory and sweet dishes, along with a wide variety of beverages. However, the most prominent items are toast, ping-sue, and ice cream, which consistently attract long queues. Upon placing an order, customers receive a bill and a round device. They must wait for the device to vibrate and turn red before collecting their order. This trendy Korean-style approach adds a unique touch to the dining experience.

After taking a break, relaxing, and enjoying drinks, snacks, and ice cream, we continued to take pictures. There were actually many spots to take photos, but each spot was crowded with people, and the resulting photos would have been full of people. So, I didn't take many pictures. It's better for everyone to go and experience it and take pictures themselves. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. It's a super cool tourist spot in Bangkok that's open 24 hours a day. Most importantly, it allows us to reminisce about the past, our childhood, and the feelings that make us want to be children again.

A lovely and meaningful souvenir, a carousel music box... a special birthday gift for us this year... indeed.
