This is the final review of my trip to Nagoya. I must say that the tourist attractions in Nagoya were not really my style, as most of them were museums. If you enjoy visiting museums, then you will probably like Nagoya. However, if you are looking for something different, then you may want to consider another destination. During my trip, I mainly focused on shopping and visiting castles. There wasn't much else to do in Nagoya that appealed to me. Here is a summary of my trip: * Visited the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology * Shopped at the Oasis 21 shopping mall * Visited Nagoya Castle * Explored the Sakae district Overall, I had a pleasant trip to Nagoya, but it wasn't my favorite city in Japan. If you are looking for a city with a lot of museums and historical sites, then Nagoya is a good option. However, if you are looking for something more exciting, then you may want to consider another destination.

The first stop is for the ladies interested in cosmetics. (My girlfriend said this store is probably the cheapest among the ones she listed, but some items are more expensive than other stores, so it depends on the specific item.) This store is called Komehyo, and I can't read the Japanese name. Haha! Here's how to get there: Take the subway and get off at Kamimaezu Station, Exit 8. Go straight down the alleyway on the right. The store will be on your left, across from the ABC Mart. This market is actually the same one as the Osu Kannon market, which is a very large market. You can also enter from the Osu Kannon Station. Komehyo is located in this market, but I personally found it underwhelming and not very interesting.

Walk straight ahead and go deep into the ABC-MART store. Walk straight for a while and you will find a small alley. Turn left and you will find the Mandarake store. Anime fans, don't miss it! If I remember correctly, there should be four floors. There are a lot of things, but it is also a bit expensive.

Behind Mandarake, there are many other shops selling comics, figures, video games, and dolls. All shops are worth exploring.

Next, let's take a look at the Shopping district in SAKAE. This area is also known for its ability to drain your wallet in the blink of an eye. There are both underground and above-ground shopping malls, with department stores lined up one after another. And of course, there's a Don Quijote store that many Thai people love. The subway station here is huge, you could walk around for three days and still get lost. It's seriously confusing, so be warned! Haha.

As I mentioned earlier, navigating Sakae Station without getting lost is quite challenging for me. Therefore, I use this clump of ornamental plants as a central reference point.

Upon reaching the top, the vibrant arrangement of flowers and foliage native to colder climates was truly breathtaking.

On the way back to my room, I accidentally pressed the water dispenser and discovered that the Nagoya TV Tower is located behind my accommodation.

A nighttime view of Oasis 21, with the Nagoya TV Tower prominently visible in the background.

The weather is cold and dry. The light show at Nagoya TV Tower is beautiful. I would like to stay here all night, but I'm afraid I'll freeze to death.

Visit the Pokemon Center on the 5th floor of the Matsuzakaya Main Building in the SAKAE district. It's a bit of a walk from SAKAE Station, so you might want to check Google Maps for directions.

Switching to Bic Camera, the sky is incredibly clear. This photo was taken through the bus window on the way to Takayama, which happens to be at JR Nagoya Station (the glass is very clear). BIC Camera sells electronics and cartoons, with the bottom floor dedicated to cameras.

Let's take a break from shopping mode and go to worship Buddha. But I still can't help but shop, haha. This is Osu Kannon Temple, a famous temple in Nagoya. As I mentioned earlier, it's the same market I took you to earlier, but I got off at Kamimaezu Station then, and here I got off at Osu kannon Station.

Okay, the last place I'm going to take you to see is Nagoya Castle. Luckily, the day I went there, the sky was crystal clear.

Directions: Take the Subway to Shiyakusho Station, Exit 7. The restaurant will be directly in front of you when you exit.

It takes a while to walk around the castle.
