For a short weekend getaway.

Sometimes, we just want to take a relaxing trip and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. So, we decided on "Bang Pu," a tourist destination not far from Bangkok. Just a short breath away, and we're there! 💨

The seagulls here can be found all over the world.

The primary food source for the birds here is "pork cracklings".

Wow! We are incredibly surprised that such a distinguished-looking bird would eat pork crackling.

How is that even possible?!

This matter has an answer.

✨ Since 1952, lard has been used for cooking in restaurants like those in Bang Pu. Leftover lard was discarded, and seagulls would sneakily eat it, becoming hooked on it since the time of our parents' generation! (Or could this be another reason why seagulls flock here?)

Tourists' favorite activity is feeding the seagulls with pork rinds. They can either feed them by hand or toss the rinds in the air. The seagulls are very accurate at catching the food. After feeding the seagulls, there is soap and a water tank to wash your hands. You don't have to worry about getting your hands dirty.

The initial feeding period may require some adjustments as the baby is still getting used to it.

Children are also welcome, making it a fun family activity.

- Deep-fried pork rinds from Prodnangnuan, served in a krathong (banana leaf cup) for 10 baht, or on a plate/in a bag for 50 baht. - There's also food for humans, so we picky eaters can relax.
