Koh Rok & Koh Ha: A Phuket Getaway
The sentence is already in English and does not require translation.
I had never heard of this island before, and I only recently learned about it. I've read a lot of reviews about Koh Rok, and it's become a very popular island on the Andaman coast in recent years. Many tourists have flocked to Koh Rok, and many reviews say that the island is truly beautiful, both above and below the water. This made me want to experience it for myself. Since I had already booked a flight to Phuket and a day trip to the Similan Islands with Loveandaman, I decided to book another day trip to Koh Rok from Phuket with Loveandaman as well. The island is open from October 15th to May 15th only, after which it is closed. Please follow our journey! ^^ :Want to travel, just travel
Let's embark on our journey!
I traveled from Don Mueang to Phuket and booked two trips with Loveandaman: Similan Islands and Koh Rok. On the first day, I visited the Similan Islands, which I have already reviewed. If you're interested, you can follow this link: https://th.readme.me/p/8534.
There are a few more places in Phuket, hehe. In this review, I will focus solely on Koh Rok, or rather, Koh Rok and Koh Haa. Let's explore what these islands have to offer and how stunning they truly are.
My accommodation is located near Patong Beach, The Frutta Boutique. I highly recommend this place. It's only 800 baht per night.
Let me give you a quick overview of the accommodation here. I would rate it 10 out of 10. Everything is perfect.
The next morning, a car picked me up from my accommodation around seven in the morning and took me to the Loveandaman pier.
Upon arrival, participants checked in and received wristbands, which were mandatory to wear and return upon departure.
Snacks, coffee, and fruit juice are available while waiting for the guide to call you.
Let's listen to the guide explain the do's and don'ts. Our guides on this trip are Guide Jessie and Guide Neo, or "Static Name" as he is known outside the industry.
It's time to board the boat! Let's go!
Before boarding, please remove your shoes as footwear is not permitted on the island. Let's work together to conserve this beautiful island so that we can enjoy it for many years to come.
Today's boat is a large, new boat with four engines. I sat near the front, and it was quite a ride! My insides were shaken up quite a bit. It was so bumpy! 5555 Honestly, I wanted to sit in the back, but I got on the boat late, and the back was full, so I had to sit in the front. I didn't think it would be this bumpy. If you get the chance to ride this boat, I suggest sitting in the middle or the back. Or, if you want a thrill, try the front! 55555
It took about 2 hours, which is not wrong. 5555 It was the first time I sat on a boat for so long. But when I saw the sea at Koh Rok, I was like, "Wow, how can it be so clear?" It was worth the long boat ride. I forgot all about the bumpy ride. It was really beautiful.
Koh Rok consists of two islands: Koh Rok Nai on the left and Koh Rok Nok on the right.
The water is crystal clear.
The more it reflects sunlight, the more beautiful it is.
The color of the seawater here is stunning. It's crystal clear and a beautiful shade of blue.
We disembarked at Koh Rok Nok. Let's explore the island and then go snorkeling at Koh Rok Nai in the afternoon.
The number of boats and tourists is relatively low today, making it a comfortable environment for taking pictures.
The map of Koh Rok has names corresponding to its bays.
Accommodation options include bungalows and tents. For inquiries, please contact the park directly.
The beach is lined with trees, providing ample shade and a cool breeze.
There are many beautiful spots for taking photos.
Oops, sorry for the typo. 55555
Another reason I enjoy this place is the abundance of Sichuan peppercorns, especially in the less frequented areas where they are plentiful.
Take a closer look at this picture. Can you spot what's hidden there? 😉
A great deal indeed.
This place is great because it's not crowded, making it perfect for taking photos.
Very delicious juice.
The island of Koh Rok offers a plethora of stunning viewpoints. Here are a few examples to give you a glimpse of its beauty.
It's lunchtime! Today's menu features a delicious spread of yellow curry, stir-fried vegetables, and crispy fried chicken.
Finish with fruits.
Let's take a look at the dessert line. I must say that Loveandaman has gone all out.
With such a wide variety of food, it's not just for show. Everything is all-you-can-eat, so eat until your stomach bursts! 55555
The show was truly spectacular, surpassing all previous tours in terms of grandeur.
Enjoying a refreshing Blue Hawaii cocktail by the beach, the perfect drink to complement the stunning ocean views.
Our boat on this trip
It's time to board the boat. Our guide will take us to Koh Rok Nai for some snorkeling.
There you have it, Koh Rok in. I didn't take any pictures while diving, as I was too busy enjoying myself. Besides, I didn't have an underwater camera. But I can tell you that the coral reefs here are still very much intact. I saw a lot of fish, including a clownfish. We spent about 40 minutes diving and then moved on to Koh Haa.
The Five Islands, located in Krabi Province, are a group of five small islands situated close together, hence the name "Five Islands".
The scenery is beautiful, and the water is crystal clear.
The diving experience was fantastic. The underwater scenery was breathtaking. This island is a must-visit for diving enthusiasts.
I spent almost an hour diving here and I must say, I'm hooked. It's a shame I didn't have an underwater camera, otherwise I would have some amazing photos to share.
Time flies! The fun is over.
It's time to say goodbye to Koh Rok and Koh Haa. See you again next time!
Let me tell you, Koh Rok, Koh Haa is another island in the Andaman Sea that is still very pristine, both on land and underwater. For those who love the sea and diving, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed if you come here. You can come with friends, with your partner, or with your family.
Anyway, I would like to leave this review with you. If there is any incorrect information, I apologize.
