Rayong is a popular beach destination in Thailand. The Cantare Bay Rayong Hotel is located on Saeng Chan Beach, offering stunning ocean views. While the hotel is not directly on the beach due to a road separating it, the atmosphere and scenery are still exceptional. The rooms are designed to resemble houses, with a unique entertainment center featuring a fitness center, two swimming pools, a tennis court, a three-lane bowling alley, a large karaoke room, table tennis, snooker, and squash. The hotel is conveniently located, only a three-hour drive from Bangkok.

Upon entering, you will be greeted by a spacious and airy lobby. The expansive lounge area provides ample seating for large groups, making the check-in process comfortable and convenient.

Upon check-in, we were escorted to our room. As a group of three, we opted for the Two Bedroom Suite, which boasts an expansive space, twice the size of the One Bedroom Suite. Situated at the beachfront end of the hotel, the Two Bedroom Suite features a spacious living room in the center. Notably, this room can accommodate up to five guests, making it an ideal choice for larger groups.

Opening the balcony door reveals a breathtaking view of Haad Saeng Chan beach. The 180-degree panorama from the balcony allows for a relaxing experience, enjoying the sea breeze and witnessing stunning sunsets.

The bedroom is sparsely furnished, with only a bed, a dressing table, and a wardrobe.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is well-equipped with a variety of utensils and appliances. It includes cups, buckets, plates, bowls, pots, and even a washing machine. While there is no basin, the washing machine compensates for its absence.

The bathroom is fully equipped with amenities, including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. For those who prefer bar soap, it is also available as an alternative.

The hotel boasts a comprehensive range of amenities, including two expansive swimming pools with a whirlpool, a sauna, a steam room, a well-equipped fitness center with expert trainers, a pool table, air hockey, and a foosball table. Recently, a standard-sized three-lane bowling alley and two karaoke rooms have been added for guests seeking entertainment. The hotel's attentive and friendly service ensures a warm and welcoming experience.

It's getting late and I'm hungry. I'm looking for something to eat. The hotel has an Italian restaurant, No. 43 Italian Bistro, that serves a wide variety of Italian dishes.

The breakfast buffet here offers a variety of options, including Thai, Chinese, and Western cuisine.

Locals whisper that Café Kantary is a must-visit for anyone seeking a sweet treat in Rayong.

Personally, I prefer less sweet options, so I ordered a strawberry to balance the richness. Alternatively, pairing it with a rich chocolate drink is equally delicious.

The vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, topped with a rich chocolate sauce, create a harmonious and delightful flavor. This indulgence will undoubtedly add a few pounds to the scale.
