**Bali Chilling Guide**
Bali is super chill~
Summer is in full swing, and if you're planning a trip to Bali, book now! It's amazing. If you love traveling without fear of getting tanned, love the beach, love food, love healthy food, love dressing up (555), Bali is the place for you.

This trip was almost a disaster for us because we couldn't find our passport and missed our flight. We had to book a new flight for the next day. So, we only had about 48 hours to "explore" Bali. Don't even call it exploring because we didn't see anything at all. 55555 We visited only 1 temple (Uluwatu... chose one near the city, less than 30 minutes away) and 1 beach. The rest of the time, we just ate.
In short, it was a truly relaxing trip, as we didn't have a packed itinerary like we usually do. Due to limited time, we decided to take it slow, enjoy delicious food, admire the scenery, and chat with friends leisurely (I had to treat my friend to several meals to make up for making her wait a whole day. Luckily, she came with another group of friends first, so I didn't have to float around alone... If you're traveling with someone, double-check your belongings! You don't want to make the same mistake I did).
Cafe Organic
This is a restaurant that I have been seeing on Instagram for a long time, so I had to make it my first landmark. There are many different menus to choose from. Every menu here is vegetarian and does not contain meat. Because I was hungry, I ordered a large menu like Sweet Potato Burger and Eggs Benedict.
We chose the Canggu branch because it was close to our accommodation and not too crowded. If you happen to be there during lunchtime and are worried about the crowd, you can book a table in advance through their website.
http://www.cafeorganicbali.com/ Make sure you choose the right branch, or you might be disappointed.
The Lawn
As the sun began to set, we sought a place to enjoy dinner with a stunning sunset view. Fortunately, my friend, who has visited Bali numerous times, recommended The Lawn, a perfect spot that aligned with our preferences. This semi-indoor restaurant features an open central area with white umbrellas and a spacious lawn overlooking the ocean.
If you're a casual diner like us who wasn't impressed by Potato Head, give Nalu Bowls a try. You won't be disappointed.
Nalu Bowls
Another teaser image you might have seen before is of a smoothie bowl shop with multiple locations across Bali. They offer a variety of flavors and recipes, but their signature menu item is called Malverick, which contains the superfood acai. The menu item that comes in a dragon fruit cup is also vibrantly colored, making it perfect for taking photos to show off to your friends.
For early risers and health enthusiasts, this restaurant is a perfect choice. Opening at 7:30 AM, you can spot handsome surfers enjoying their breakfast here. Mona confirms it!
Berawa Beach
The only beach where we had the opportunity to go and watch people surf seriously. It was clear that the waves here were much bigger than in Thailand. The waves were big, long, and beautiful to surf. The only downside is that I'm still a beginner surfer and only had two lessons, so I didn't dare to go down and show off my lack of skills. Haha.
Finns Beach Club
A beach club located in Berawa offers stunning views of surfers riding the waves. It provides a wide selection of food and beverages, including my favorite smoothie bowls and cold-pressed juices.
Crate Cafe
This restaurant is always packed, but one reason for the crowds is the incredibly slow service. We waited almost an hour for a single salad. However, if you're looking for a place to relax with a coffee or a smoothie bowl, this spot is a good option. Plus, there are plenty of clothing stores in the area, so you can easily spend some money while you're there.
Shady Shack
Have you ever had a meal with a view of a green rice field? This is the place to be. The restaurant is divided into two sections, decorated in a natural style with a healthy menu. Both vegetarian and vegan options are available. The standout menu item is the "Bowls" style, which combines a variety of foods with a sauce in the center. You won't be disappointed.
Motel Mexicola
If you're visiting Bali, you can't miss the vibrant colors and lively atmosphere of this restaurant. Even before you enter, you'll be greeted by eye-catching colors and a team of friendly security guards. Step inside, and you'll be transported to a world of neon lights and patterns covering every surface, from the walls and floors to the plates. And when it comes to photo opportunities, you're spoiled for choice – every corner is Instagram-worthy.
The food here is another highlight that you shouldn't miss. All the food in the picture was eaten by only two of us and we finished everything in the blink of an eye. Before 6 pm, they only serve tacos. We recommend trying the beef tongue taco, it melts in your mouth and is incredibly delicious.
For those who enjoy lamb, this braised lamb dish is a must-try. The lamb is so tender and flavorful that it falls off the bone with every bite.
Kim Soo
Take a break from eating and visit this home decor haven. From cushions and rugs to trays, vases, chairs, and more, you'll find everything you need to spruce up your space. Even if you're not a design expert, you'll be tempted to pick up a few pieces to add a touch of Balinese charm to your home. After all, who can resist falling in love with this place?
Shelter Cafe
Our last stop before boarding, we rushed to Shelter Cafe after being disappointed by Crumb & Coaster (the shop is closed for renovation until the end of the month). This is the first place we opened to find the menu we were looking for, Poke Bowl, which is like sushi that comes in separate pieces. It's fresh, simple, but very delicious. We quickly ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl and the last Smoothie Bowl before boarding. The great thing about this place is that there is another Nalu Bowls branch on the lower floor and customers can order and eat at the shop. Hmmm, even better.
Before leaving, we will leave you with beautiful pictures of the Nalu Bowls store. The girls here made us realize that eating healthy can really make people beautiful. We promise that when we return to Thailand this time, we will take better care of our diet.
