Hello, this trip to "Khiri Wong" was on April 8, 2017. We traveled from Bangkok by private car with a total of 3 members (2 adults and 1 child). We were relaxed and didn't care if we arrived or not. We headed to Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, our destination being Lan Saka District, Kiri Wong Village. We drove ourselves.

"Khiriwong" was my first visit in 2003, over 10 years ago. At that time, I was studying in Nakhon Si Thammarat, and a professor from my faculty took us there for a field trip. He emphasized that Kiriwong Village would be a model village in the future, both in terms of nature and living conditions. Now, looking back, I understand why this place is still so lush and abundant. If I could come here during the fruit season (October), it would be amazing. Imagine a durian buffet, mangosteen, and a thousand-baht mangosteen at Paragon! Oh, just talking about it makes me want to come back again.

Our journey began early on April 8th, with the intention of reaching Khao Kiri Wong by nightfall. However, our progress was hindered by our numerous culinary detours. By the time we reached Chumphon, it was already dusk. We decided to spend the night at Tung Wua Laen Beach, opting for a beachfront accommodation we had previously discovered on Agoda called "Talay Sai." The property, while directly adjacent to the beach, was separated by a road.

Walk-in rate is 1,200 baht for 2 people, including breakfast.

The morning atmosphere in front of the accommodation ... Beautiful beach, clear water. It's a pity I didn't wake up in time to see the sunrise. Oh, I'm so sad.

After soaking up the atmosphere, we had to quickly grab breakfast and check out. Our next stop was paying respects to His Royal Highness Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse, the Prince of Chumphon, at Hat Sai Ri before continuing our journey.

After leaving Haad Sai Ree beach, we started to feel hungry, so we stopped at a southern Thai curry restaurant. The food was delicious, the restaurant was beautiful, and they offered free fresh vegetables and a tray of chili paste. We absolutely loved it!

Our stomachs full, we continued our journey. We would arrive at Khao Kiri Wong in the evening. Oh, I forgot to mention that we booked a room at Khao Kiri Wong for two nights, the 9th and 10th.

On the 9th, we stayed at "Baan Suan Rerai," which had a fantastic atmosphere. The accommodation was right next to a waterfall, and it was also at the source of the river, so the water was crystal clear. On the night of the 10th, we stayed at "Baan Kiang Khao," which is right next to Wang Mai Pak waterfall. The water was clear and cool, and we could see fish swimming in it.

Let's go! We're entering the city limits now... I'm so excited!

Before entering the Kiree Wong village, we stopped by a local market next to a gas station at the village entrance to buy some local food. This is a district market, quite large, with a wide variety of traditional southern Thai dishes and desserts. (I was so excited that I didn't take many pictures, sorry!)

This is it, crab… sliced shallots, chopped bird's eye chili, mixed with hot rice. It's so delicious, I'm telling you! 55555

By the time I finished shopping, it was already evening. But it was worth it. I got to see the beautiful colors of Khao Kiri at night. The view from Khao Kiri Riverview Resort was amazing. I took a lot of pictures to share with you all. I love it so much.

"Baan Suan Rai Rai" is located on the same side as Hin Ta Hin Yai. Drive across the bridge and you will find it. It is the last place after taking the picture. ...

Let's take a look at the atmosphere in front of the accommodation in the early morning.

You have to wake up early this morning because there is a morning market... The market will start selling early in the morning and will close around 7-8 am. Come on, don't be late... or you'll miss it. Take some pictures along the way.

We arrived at the market in no time. It's right next to the temple. Let's go!

The market offers a wide variety of delicious food, both savory and sweet. Prices are reasonable, with many items costing only 5-10 baht. One must-try dish is the "khao yum na boo du" (spicy rice salad with fish paste) from the grandmother's stall. It's so good, you'll lick your plate clean! (^^)

After returning from the market, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of rice porridge and other dishes prepared by our accommodation. The porridge was particularly flavorful, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We then changed into our swimsuits and prepared to take a dip in the crystal-clear water with the fish.

At noon, we hurriedly showered and checked out of Baan Suan Rai to check in at Baan Kiang Khao. Let's take a look at the atmosphere of Baan Kiang Khao.

The afternoon hours in Nan Hin Tha Ha are becoming increasingly lively, with a significant surge in activity and traffic congestion.

To reach Baan Kiang Khao, turn right after the bridge and continue driving straight. The accommodation is located near Wang Mai Pak Waterfall.

Before leaving Kiriwong, we stopped by Wang Mai Pak Waterfall and drove back to Kiriwong Riverside View once more to soak in the natural beauty one last time.

After checking out, we stopped by Wang Mai Pak Waterfall. It was incredibly beautiful and inviting.

After taking a deep breath of fresh ozone, it's time to move on to Khao Kiri Riverview. However, on the way, there's a bridge with no one around, so let's quickly take a picture for fun.

I've arrived at Khiriwong Riverside. I've ordered a cold tea to quench my thirst.

Before leaving Ban Kiree Wong, let's stop by a local shop for a bit...

Next, indulge in the delectable offerings of "Khao Chin Nong Kiew," a restaurant renowned for its exceptional Khao Chin dishes. Prepare to be tantalized by the explosion of flavors, leaving you with an unforgettable culinary experience. (Located on the route to Nan Hin Tha Ha)

Savory stinky beans, rich and flavorful coconut curry noodles, and perfectly caramelized pumpkin—all accompanied by the charming smiles of a handsome young man.

"I'm full! Time to move to our next accommodation. Tonight, we're staying at a friend's sister's house in the countryside. (The accommodation is located in a rubber plantation, not too far from Khao Kiriwong. Basically, we'll get the same fresh air! 555)"

After driving out of Kiree Wong village, our next destination was to buy silverware in the city. The location is behind the city hall, near the Phra That temple. We like to buy silverware here because it's cheap. On the day we went, the area was having a 50% discount on all stores. There were a lot of people.

After visiting the silverware shop, we continued to Wat Phra That to pay respects, make offerings, and bathe the Buddha statue for good luck in the new year.

To conclude our dinner tonight at " Kopi "

Everything is delicious, like, oh my god, I'm about to explode!

After lunch, it was time to return to the garden house. The atmosphere was incredibly refreshing and cool. Despite the common perception of Songkran being a scorching hot festival, we barely needed to turn on the fan here.

A tranquil morning scene at a rubber plantation in Lansaka.

May I use a photo from my iPhone?

During our visit to Nakhon Si Thammarat, we had the opportunity to visit Pak Phanang. The highlight of our trip was the giant wind turbine. Unfortunately, the beach was closed to the public due to ongoing construction.

Visiting the South? Don't miss out on the delicious local cuisine! Indulge in the authentic flavors and satisfy your cravings.

On the morning of the 14th, we traveled to Wang Mai Pak Waterfall in Khao Kiri Wong again. We left early today to avoid traffic, but we still got stuck.

Fortunately, the camera captured the moment we returned. The 95-year-old grandmother's image is still complete in every way. Her ears, eyes, nose, and mouth are all still functioning normally. Amazing.

I had the opportunity to visit the Khun Thale Dam, where there are floating raft services and restaurants along the dam. However, I believe that if it were developed similarly to Huai Krathing in Loei, it would attract more tourists.

In the late afternoon, we had some time to spare, so we went to pay respects at Wat Nang Phaya.

On the morning of the 15th, it was time to travel back to Bangkok... I stopped by here and there.

Our last stop was lunch in Surat Thani at the Plab Pla Restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing, it felt like we were on Koh Kood!

The trip concluded with an arrival home close to 2:00 AM.

Thank you to everyone who made this encounter possible. Thank you for watching until the end.
